Away, hidden, and buried not from criminals or police but from himself. 4:03 it's not a house of an assassin. It was a house of a husband and wife. That's why it was made of glass and his weapons buried. It's not his base of operation. It's supposed to be a house for a family. Again, I thought you watched and understood the movie. I'm a fan of the channel, but still going to point out a few things. John buried his guns and coins not because he is afraid of cops or criminal, in the last movie we already seen that cops are ok with him having dead ppl in his house, so why would he be sacred? The real reason for putting cement over it is a symbolic way of saying he is done with that assassin life. When Santino said no one leaves then come back without repercussion, he isn't saying assassins are mad because of what John did in the first movie, he is saying now that John came back into their world, he cant just leave right after again, its already mentioned in the 1st movie that John had to do some impossible task to leave that life behind in the 1st place, naturally after coming back into it, ppl are not just gona let him leave again without paying the "price". And the price here is that this Santino is going to claim his right to the marker which he could not do before due to John being retired. Santino fired 3 rockets into John's house not to kill him, but to let him know that he has no choice but to honor his marker, which is why he isn't going to check if John's dead afterward. John stayed at the Continental, used their services, paid with gold coins, that pretty much means he is back into their world, all these services are off limit to ppl who are not part of their world. hether John like it or not he is out of retirement. It has been stated that John has been retired for many years, so its not far of a stretch to say that he is out of touch with the latest gun models, plus he does not know what kind of stock the Roman Continental keep, so there's nothing wrong with John asking the gun guy for suggestions. I'm not a gun expert, but I'm pretty sure there are hand guns that hold 21 shot such as the glock series, so when John took that gun and fired 21 times its possible.

You can see what happens in the end when Wick brakes the rule. Dude, watch the fucking movie first, and THEN start counting sins. You're counting concepts just because you don't understand them yet, even though they are later revealed.

That fountain is at Lincoln Center, so they could take the 1 train from 66th all the way down to the World Trade Center for the silenced shootout in the Oculous or whatever it’s called, but then the go into the subway and there are PATH trains? Not to mention the thing says “Broad street” which is neither the 1 train OR the path.

You have missed the most obvious sin of all: John Wick isn't deaf after firing all these bullets without hearing protection, especially the ones fired in tunnels and concrete buildings. And Ares is mute, but not deaf? ALL OF THESE ASSASSINS WOULD BE DEAF BY NOW. And Sophia's dogs in Chapter 3 are deaf. Gunshots are 140 dB at least. 85 is enough to damage your ears.

He's not cementing the floor to protect it. it's so he can only use it in extreme cases, where it is worth going through the trouble of smashing the floor. this keeps him from going back for trivial things

You either didn't get that, so more fool you, or you did get it, but you just wanted to pad the runtime, in which case: SHAME!

I think the one you missed is: Why didn't she use her gun in the hallway of mirrors? She had a gun and it's implied, when John is going through her coat, that she was carrying ammunition.

Sin 30: I do not think he left Wick for dead. It was a consequence good enough to destroy his house. Probably wasn't in his mind to kill Wick. Sin 48: Wick most likely didn't come in looking for specific guns. He wanted options and to pick the best out of it. If he focused on several specific guns, he wouldn't have known if there were superior ones. Sin 102: She went limp in the final seconds of the scene, indicating her death. Sin 103: It ain't bullshit; Wick's finger was already positioned on the trigger, which indicates that Wick will kill him anyway. He simply doesn't care. I may be wrong.

It doesn't seem too far-fetched for the world of assassins in this movie to use old-school tech like rotary phones and a pneumatic tube system. Although the effectiveness of using old tech in the modern day is questionable, the idea is that modern tech is more heavily monitored by the authorities nowadays. That is, all the modern police would expect everyone to be using modern means of communication, but would never expect anyone to use older stuff. That, and a pneumatic tube system can't be Hollywood-hacked like your typical digital system. As for the usage of cell phones at the end, perhaps it's one of those onion-router-type deals. I'd presume that the old-school tech is first used for anonymity and security of initially spreading the message on John Wick's contract. But then some Hollywood hocus-pocus later, and some untraceable sender sends the contract text message to every assassin's cellphone.

At 1:33 you complain about john’s leg not being broken. If we’re being nit picky, which you like to do, let’s zoom in and slow down the frames of him getting hit by the car. You’ll notice his legs never touch the front of the car, he actually picks up his front leg quick and lands on the hood on his hip, and the shallow angle means that he just gets spun up onto the windshield and doesn’t get hit hard at all. It’s a pretty standard stunt that’s done exactly how it looks without any fancy tricks, tbh. So his legs are fine.

No one’s has commented on why John buries his coins and guns under the concrete in his house - he’s trying to stay away from his old life; burying his gear will keep him away from that life but he knows that whatever he does he will be dragged back in, hence he buries it so he can get to it again if he needs.

since we're nitpicky about little details here at cinemasins, let me help out at 13:15 you say he fires too many shots, however, the gun he comes into the building with is a 1911, which fires .45 and has a magazine of a much smaller capacity than that of a glock magazine the gun he picks up off of the guard guy is a glock. the standard glock magazine carries 17 rounds, plus one in the chamber. if you count more carefully, with even the henchman's single shot included, the gun is only shown firing exactly 18 times before the slide locks back and he runs out of ammo and steals a new gun ;)
