Ye Charlie Complained a lot but to me it seems he never used bros attacks complained that they were consumables despite having large quantities of them and even if he did run out he had enough coins to buy more. I personally beat the game only dying twice to the elder shroob she was the only boss that gave me a tough time the rest were easy as long as you got the timing down for bros attacks

True, but i feel like if he actually used the items and it still took that long then he can complain. But any time he complains, all i can think of now is "if you used x item It'd probably have helped out". I especially remember using the cannon more times than anything due to how much it did, that and the copy flower. But yeah some bosses had alot of health and made it drag on. I remember getting stuck at the boss with a timer due for a good while due to his health being too much and the timer making me feel like i needed to rush

in paper jam there is literally a moment were Starlow needs to inspirte Luigi and one of her quotes is "you had a whole year!" Paper jam was fun...I dont regret selling it, because it was basically PIT but not using the X to dodge and it was unnatural as fuck

I think Starlow starts coming around by the end of that very game. And they're friends for the most part in future games. So Luigi at least gets some respect at some point.

Starlow is *HORRIBLE* at times, but at least she *tried* giving important information to Mario and Luigi during their travels. And she isn't like another certain insufferable little-helper-follower named Kersti from Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

the only game where they don't actively shit on Luigi (barring Bowser's Inside Story, which I know nothing about and cannot speak of), is Dream Team, and that's just because APPARENTLY Luigi is the only one who can sleep quickly enough!

Well, yes, but Luigi is still VERY much the comic relief still, I'd argue more so than Bowser because he has a lot of moments, like running away from bosses and Mario having to get him running back to it, Luigi trying to catch that tiny bug (the Wisdurm I think) Luigi freezing in that one part, him being a lot more dramatic than Mario when they pretend to be sick to see Dr. Toadley, there's so many moments! And don't get me started on how much STARLOW SH*TS ON LUIGI- She never gives him a break and always cares about Mario more. She was sooo much better in Dream Team. So yeah, DT is pretty much the only game people don't constantly bash on Luigi and he actually earns respect from a lot of characters, and proves himself a whole lot! Probably cuz it was made for the Year Of Luigi but I digress...

25:29 - 26:34 is what I consider to be the worst part of the video. The Elder Princess Shroob rant alone is frustrating, but combining it with the other boss rants actively makes me want to commit the worst crime imaginable. In the context of any other Charriii5 Everything Wrong With video, I would be okay with him sinning Elder Princess Shroob as long as his reasoning is sound. Well, here's the catch. Not only does he sin this fight for all the wrong reasons, but by doing so at all, he breaks one of the fundamental rules he set for his series. In his Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind video, he specifically states that whenever he complains that a boss is difficult, he has to make sure everyone agrees with him that the fight is hard and it's not just him struggling with it. If he actually took the time to look at what people thought about Elder Princess Shroob, he would have seen that she's incredibly popular among the fanbase. He looks up how much HP the final boss has, but not people's opinions on it, because apparently, he doesn't understand the concept of being true to your word. Like I said, the other boss rants may be bad enough, but this is the straw that breaks the camel's back. The Sunnycide and Bowser rants are okay, the Commander Shroob rant is annoying, the Elder Shrooboid rant is frustrating, the Princess Shroob rant makes me mad, but this actively makes me rage to the point of wanting to commit the worst crime imaginable, and that's not an exaggeration. In fact, I'm actually quite relieved that now that this video is finished, I have no reason to ever watch this dumpster fire again, and I know someone's going to say, "It's not that bad. You're overreacting. It's not that big of a deal." I can see that, but you have to understand that this isn't like the other times. It's not just one or two instances of Charriii5 complaining about bosses being too hard for him and I tell him to get good, he has been like this for most of the video. He doesn't bother to recognize his mistakes, or worse, he does recognize his flaws, but decides to blame the game for it for whatever asinine reason, and then creates these seemingly understandable rules, but doesn't bother to follow them. I'm going to say it. *I HATE THIS VIDEO.* I'll give him 200 sins for daring to sin the Elder Princess Shroob fight with such flawed reasoning and breaking one of his rules for his series. +200 sins

Partners in Time is the only Mario & Luigi game I don't have, and I wanna know... is it worth the purchase?

I personally loved the game when I played it, (unfortunately I had a used copy that broke after like a month, but regardless). The interactions with the babies are cute, the battling is the same Mario and Luigi turn based combat but with the babies as well, the bosses are interesting, and I at least find the story fun. It depends on what you’re looking for in these games for if it’s worth it or not, but if you’re looking for dumb Mario and Luigi fun, then yea you’ll have that here!

@@sonicstar917 ...Well, one could argue and say these games were much better than Paper Jam, that's for sure. Partners in Time had a much better story, funny scenes, and characters; Paper Jam...doesn't seem to have any of that. The only advantages I would say that Paper Jam has over Partners in Time is that you only control 3 buttons instead of 4 AND uses an actual "MP (BP)" system instead of consumable Bros. Items.

Superstar Saga also had differences in boss stats between the Japanese/European and US versions that made the US version harder. The remake used the easier Japanese/European versions in all territories, so I assume they'd do the same if they ever do a remake of Partners in Time (if the Mario & Luigi series isn't dead...)

@@ZilRockbottom Wait, wasn't the european version based on the american version for superstar saga ? It is, i don't know why i'm asking. No heal block, wrong music for the final fawful battle and weird peach castle mushroom logos, i didn't even realized it was mushrooms. Only the japanese version added and fixed stuff. Partners in time had a lot of life changing fixes (ones that no one talks about includes : added sound effects and voices) but you can still complain about the difficulty while being thankful you're in europe.

@@famaki8072 Yeahh, I must have been misremembering things. The European version of SS is based on the American version. The European version of PiT, however, does have all of the changes/improvements of the Japanese version, so it's only the American version of PiT that's harder.

@@GlitchanBlack I'm not that sure, a RU-vidr I know is currently doing a let's play, and the only boss that has taken more than 10 minutes is the wiggler because he didn't figure out the trick Although, I heard there are apparently version differences when it comes to bosses? I'm not sure about that to be honest, it's just something I've seen in the comments

@@sasir2013 Yeah, the PAL and Japanese versions of the game give the bosses less health, effectively making the US version the game’s Hard Mode. Also, in response to your original comment, Charriii said that the reason he didn’t use the Bros. Attacks until the final boss was that the first two Bros. Attacks you get (Green Shell and Fire Flower) kinda suck - the only benefit of the Fire Flower is the burn status effect it inflicts on enemies. I’m pretty sure he did experiment with the Bros. Attacks, but given that this game doesn’t give you a good first impression with them, I can understand why he didn’t use them until the final boss.

@@GlitchanBlack To be fair, most rpg's initial skills aren't that impressive, and those two still do more damage than a normal attack if performed correctly. And besides, the canon is the third skill you get in this game, and it does around 6 times your average damage. If he literally stopped trying out skills after the two firsts in an rpg, that's completely on him I just have a hard time wrapping my head around why he, across 30-40 hours, not even once thought, "Huh, the game is giving me a lot of this items, let me try some. After all, this boss fight is long and I'm bored"

Lets not forget, on top of what you have mentioned, you would have to account for the distance moved because of the expanding universe. Taking into account ALL of that is just impossible.

The babies were mostly combined with Mario and Luigi on the overworld. That wouldn’t work with Paper Mario and Paper Luigi.

The babies were more of an extension of the big bros.

The Baby Bros gets carried most of the game and separated so you can’t control all four at once, Paper Mario isn’t being carried

Facts, but I never liked how often I had to just spam Bros Attacks to win most boss fights. Sure I used them in other games but I mostly did it cuz they were cool, but god help anyone like Chariii who didn't use them in this game.

First off, he is complaining about how long Princess Shroob took him to beat, not necessarily the difficulty. Second, he is actually level 23. I went into the final boss at level 27.
