I dont want to be the neckbeard being all nerdy about it, but the sokovian accords wasnt just about the avengers, the sokovian accords was set up to regulate and control enhanced individuals like the avengers or shield. and as a part of that they wanted to register and track those enhanced people.
I was thinking the exact same thing when he talked about that. The movies focus on how it affects the Avengers, but the point of the accords was to address all superpowered people.
Not to mention he just blatantly sins an important piece of information when Murdock reveals that they were repealed. This is new to the MCU, and he complained about hearing it too much!
Win for the RvB reference! I also love Cobra Kai when Johnny introduces Eagle Fang..... "What kind of animal can kill a snake?" "a mongoose.....I SAID A REAL ANIMAL BERT!!"
It's possible that a female public figure being shown to have sex is still considered more scandalous than a male one. I could be wrong about that, though.
It is but not in a "This was the villain's elaborate plan" way. I'm pretty sure based off of the Fappening that she is likely to get more sympathy than anything else.
@@BennyCo.Skateboard Times change, I suppose. At one time, it would be more scandalous. Even two women or two men wouldn't be all that scandalous. Unless they're Baptist ministers caught having sex with another man. As you said, context.
Being heart of hearing ultimately resulted in that one goon getting caught in the crosshairs of having to use that miniature crossbow instead of a regular-sized crossbow.
3:00 "You're never allowed to mention the Sokovia Accords again." I feel like that was basically the point of that moment. That was Marvel saying, "It's been repealed, and that's the last we ever need to say about that, can people please get off our backs about that shit?" lmfao
5:36 Fucking seriously? I thought I was safe from the Male Replacement Theory bullshit here, but nope. God fucking damnit... He wasn't neutered. He didn't fight back because he didn't care if he was unmasked. He literally called her "Jen" right before she took of his mask IN THE CLIP THAT YOU SHOWED. Also, she's a HULK. Yes, he is physically weak compared to someone with NEARLY FUCKING INFINITE STRENGTH. Like, I get that it's your job to be an asshole, but that doesn't mean catering to bigots and their bullshit arguments. There's a difference between being a dick and being a shitty fucking person.
Yeah that that information just gets gracelessly plopped out in a side-show rather than being any big event was a bit odd but probably shows they don't wanna bother with that plotline anymore (probably didn't care too much about it outside of inciting Civil War anyway). To a degree it makes sense I guess, after Thanos and then the events that lead to his defeat, it's a bit hard to say "yeah we should chain heroes down in case they're gonna cause more harm than good"
1:45 - Sinning the Sin Guy for mispronouncing "erred." 2:26 - Sinning the Subtitler for confusing "council" and "counsel." 2:38 - Sinning the Subtitler for confusing "canon" and "cannon." Also sinning the Sin Guy for dissing IRON FIST. 2:45 - Sinning the Subtitler for confusing "council" and "counsel" AGAIN. 2:54 - Sinning the Subtitler for misplacing the apostrophe in "people's."
That would require someone to willingly watch the entirety of Velma, and I personally don't encourage or condone hate watching bad shows, especially since that is why Velma had the highest watched release of any animated show on its platform.
The end of this episode really was a bit of a nosedive. Intelligencia (which I know in this show *isn't* a "big scary intelligence organization" and just meant to be like 4chan+reddit incel group that hates... women? she-hulk specifically? bit of both) did indeed have a crummy plan of scandalizing she-hulk at what is revealed to be a not-that-important event, but more importantly that THIS is what counts as her losing her temper, and hulking out, and her friend going "Jen nooo don't." It'd be one thing if she started pulping that bad guy but there's really nothing wrong imo with tearing down a screen that won't shut off as it's broadcasting your sex tape to an audience (with your parents there btw); nor with grabbing the guy who was responsible for it. Odder still that when she was arrested they just let the other guy go.
The whole hulking out and losing control felt so out of character for Jen. As in the while difference between her and Bruce right from the beginning was that she could control the Hulk easily without losing control
Why isn't anyone talking about if Daredevil can't dodge something huge like a car flying over him, how is he supposed to dodge bullets, how can he fight?
no, not really. the idea that a lot of heroes can be hurt by their kapes makes sense if you don't think about it. the cape would have to be made of a material strong enough and being held by something strong enough to choke superman. it would have to trap the flash faster than he can react, it would have to prevent dr strange's ability to teleport. the speder sense iron man's armor, etc. you'd have to explain why a jet engine can pull in someone who can fly faster than a jet... etc.
The entirety of She-hulk could be easily reduced to one sin. "Show writes this off as a joke, but there's some serious legal questions going unanswered" Seriously! Even the excuse of them having no idea about the legal system, doesn't make sense. They had the money to hire an expert, or just ask a lawyer that works for Disney to answer some quick questions. It's just dumb due to lazunwss and arrogance
It was stated as one of the directors not knowing how to do "drawn out" court cases, or cases spanning multiple episodes. Of course, it's not ideal, but it's not like they knew nothing about the legal system.
Face it: The only time Disney actually takes the time to get their lawyers is if one of them finds out an elementary school showed one of their movies for a fund raiser.
@@cameronweaver2013 Given the show wasn't all Court Stuff anyway it's not so bad but that they chose to go with "attorney at law" as well as involve as much court as they did, still falters a bit
9:13 : Sadly, we won't get to see William Hurt as Rulk, but we may get a chance to see Harrison Ford (his replacement as Thunderbolt Ross, from what I have seen) as him in the future......and please make it the Near Future.......just sayin' is all........😅
2:35 THE NETFLIX SHOWS ARE NOT CANON. This is a different version of Daredevil that just looks the same, but it’s not actually the same exact Daredevil from the Netflix show.
3:19 Uh, no. You did have to provide your name in the Sokovia Accords if you signed it. And why are you dissing Matt talking about its repeal? It's pretty important information that we're just now finding out!
0:00 - Sinning this episode [+5 sins] 0:38 - Sinning ANY scene with Leapfrog [+5 sins] 0:43 - It's obvious he wanted to get away by getting high in the air. And it's also obvious this man isn't the smartest individual. [+1 sin] 0:51 - SKIP [+1 sin] 1:34 - Sinning characterization [+1 sin] 1:49 - There was literally nothing wrong with the line reading, c'mon man. [+1 sin] 2:23 - Sinning Daredevil IN ANY WAY [+5 sins] 2:55 - "We?" Whose this "we" you speak of. [+1 sin] 3:03 - FALSE! The Sokovia Accords didn't just affect the Avengers, but enhanced individuals as well, or anyone who had technology that gave them superhuman abilities like the Iron-Man suit for example. The use of technology for superhuman abilities was strictly regulated. So before they were repealed, it ABSOLUTELY would've affected Leapfrog Here's the link to the MCU wiki: marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Sokovia_Accords#Regulations And here's a quote: "Those with secret identities must reveal their legal names and true identities to the United Nations." [+5 sins] 3:34 - [+1 sin] 3:42 - Agreed [-1 sin] 4:30 - She does remember, she asked if YOU remember. And considering you blatantly ignore info from these segments that would nullify your sins, this just seems like a stupid thing to complain about [+1 sin] 5:03 - Don't care, sinning ANY scene with Daredevil in that awesome red and gold costume [+5 sins] 5:11 - Yup [-1 sin] 5:20 - What did I just say about sinning Daredevil sequences? [+1 sin] 5:27 - You cut the part where She-Hulk used the Thunderclap on him which sent him flying towards a car and damaged his hearing. This is the first time he's ever fought a Hulk. Daredevil was more grounded in his show and now he's going up against a superhuman with MASSIVE STRENGTH. That's not a case of neutering, it's a case of realism that a regular human, even with abilities like Matt's would lose to A HULK. Why did you expect MCU Matt Murdock to be able to beat a Hulk, who just used a Thunderclap which damaged his hearing, along with the fact that he's never gone up against someone like a superpowered being as strong as A HULK? How was he supposed to combat a gust of air and sound that launched him in the air and crashed him into a car? [+1 sin] 5:38 - Because she trusts Matt, and Matt obviously trusts her? Is that not obvious? Immediately he tries to get her to help him by telling Jen that Leapfrog kidnapped Matt's client. [+1 sin] 5:51 - COMEDY SHOW! [+1 sin] 6:47 - Matt is concerned that Mr. Jacobson could be harmed if alerted to their presence, not necessarily if THEY can be harmed. He's right to be concerned. [+1 sin] 6:52 - TVSins doesn't realize that crossbows are often categorized as firearms for legal purposes. [+1 sin] 6:59 - SINNING THIS SCENE! [+3 sins] 7:41 - Sinning this line. [+1 sin] 7:48 - Sinning this scene, as this was probably the funniest joke in the entire episode, which was already pretty funny. Also some people are lucky/unlucky, and it also depends on what part of the body is supporting your fall, not to mention he SUFFERED 3RD DEGREE BURNS ON HIS LEGS, and I imagine that made landing on his legs more dangerous Pay attention! [+3 sins] 10:15 - I mean, yeah. You also cut out the part where they call her a slut, and want to paint her that way. The point of releasing this info was to make Jen look bad. This organization is not meant to be scary. They even play off their plan as a joke in the finale. The entire organization was founded by Todd Phelps to allow others to vent their frustration about those who they believed didn't deserve their powers, particularly superpowered women. They didn't get a recording of her destroying that parking lot btw, or else they would've shown it. They're just a bunch of trolls who will go to extreme lengths like showing private information about someone and humiliating them, knowing Jen will react harshly and potentially ruin her even further, and that's the point. To humiliate her and paint her in a negative light. [+1 sin]
7:20 I'd give like 1000 sins to producers for having Matt look at she-hulk murder bunch of scumbags and do literally nothing. Let's not forget, this guy lived up to his code and hasn't even killed his biggest nemesis, altho' he had a chance. This is just way, way beyond rubbish, if you ask me.
Interesting because it was and a lot of people thought as much, apparently including TV sins since they thought it decent enough to do a whole sin series on. Or were you not aware that they actually liked these programs and movies that they sin? Please tell me that is not the case 😂😂
It's horrifying that people won't admit this is the worst Marvel show when the main villains' super evil plan is to expose to the world that She Hulk...... is an adult woman who has sex. Their whole plan was literally just The Fappening. What a pathetic show.
Yup. I was saying this on previous episodes, she has an episode where she must get nice clothes to be taken seriously or one where shes upset a guy isnt text back and is obsessive. Its just awful tired boring tropes, its seems like a terrible show.
@@jonsmith5058 Actually, they showed that she had been used, betrayed and deceived by someone she'd been intimate with and had trusted. The sex was quite secondary.
I'd say "I can't wait for Barrett to add a million sins for the biggest ass-pull Deadpool move in the last episode" but after he took sins off for the catcalling line and the twerking, I have zero hope.
For as much as Jenn’s suit is hyped in this show, it’s pretty awful. I know it’s comic accurate but I’ve seen plenty of comic accurate suits that weee tweaked to look great. Just another flaw in a show of nothing but trash
