The „I‘ll date my brother“ thing is a common thought process amongst survivors of childhood abuse and neglect. These children are so isolated (not just physically but emotionally) that they feel like the only people they could ever relate to and be safe enough to have feelings for are their siblings because they know what it’s like to go through what they are going through. That feeling immediately starts to vanish once you‘re out of that situation and engage with the real world. Sadly enough these kids will have those video taped statements follow them around in addition to the scars on their souls. Ruby is truly an evil and disgusting person. She never deserved to be a mother.

My leg hairs are so light brown and tiny that they are not that noticable so I don't need to shave my legs. But I start to sweat fast so I shave my armpits about twice a week.

Bro this whole family is weird as fuck. It’s the parents fault. They can’t live with their parents when they turn 18? Do they not realize how hard it is for young teens this day and age to just be able to leave at 18 and survive on their own??? It’s incredibly hard. I feel bad for all the kids. They clearly are growing up in a toxic environment no matter what Ruby or Kevin says. I used to love their videos before I realised how bad it was. Sadly Shari is going to grow up and be just like Ruby. I feel the most bad for Chad though. His parents clearly have something against him and literally sent him to a place where you have to live outside and when he returned, they took his room away for months (I'm pretty sure it was 7 months but I can't really remember) and even took the door off of his bathroom. The final clip, I remember what happened: she burned something on the stove and the whole house smelled so bad they had to move out for a few days and had it cleaned up professionally which costed a lot of money and is probably the main cause of her discomfort.. she cried about it blaming it on being overwhelmed by motherhood and too tired… meanwhile her kids were expected to be grown up adults who took their responsibilities and juggle school, chores, church, practicing an instrument they hated, be responsible for their needs and fully taking care of themselves since an early age and with a camera on their faces 24/7… Speaking of overwhelmed and overworked.... It Made me so nervous because if the kids ever burned something she probably would have gone ballistic and made them feel like crap, but she was allowed to play victim and blame it on others

Some of the most vulnerable points of your daughters life shouldn’t be shared on camera EVEN if she doesn’t say that she’s not okay with it. EVEN if she agrees. @@houseofbows I used to watch April and Davey. Personally in my opinion family channels can be a toxic place in general b/cs the parents are getting content of their kids and shaping their view on life through a camera. I think April and Davey do a better job of letting them be themselves on camera and it’s clear that they love and care for them. I think they’re definitely one of the better channels because they have more of a focus on fun challenges, activities, and games. But it is still a family channel so it’s important to note that they won’t always be honest since their income is based of a views and subscribers so they need clickbaity content. Just my opinion on it
The mom must not know that Julie has people that go to her school and watch their channel so it’s obviously embarrassing going to school and knowing that your mom embarrasses you every video y’all make💀
