EVERYTHING YOU NEED - BSA Lightning GRT .22 Woodsman Package 

I think what's holding back BSA sales in the US is it being only 12 FPE. I have several airguns around 12 FPE for target shooting, but people in the US like at least 15 FPE and above. That stopped me from buying one earlier this year.

I know Ben is a really good shooter, so those results have to be the subpar accuracy of the gun itself, which is shame because my Gamo Hunter Extreme in .22 can consistently shoot under 0.5" groups at 25 yards with cheap CPHPs. And that's with it shooting those pellets at over 29 fpe!

I always find these kind of reviews not really complete without a chronograph test. 😎

Get an M2.5x10mm screw in that trigger really helps with the pull. I also replaced the trigger from SAT to CAT.

Nice to see you review this air rifles I have been looking at getting one for awhile now. I just pulled the trigger on 2 more weihrauch air rifles so going to be a bit before I can buy another one lol! I hope you will do some more high end spring air rifles like weihrauch, Beeman, Diana, and air arms in the future. I prefer shooting springers/break barrels over PCP air rifles so I always am glad when you are making videos with them.

Awesome air rifle Ben,. I checked out this rifle at AoA along with all the other great prices on BSA air rifles. The Lightning is available with a spring piston configuration for those who don't like gas rams. Great work Ben.

That's a nice looking air rifle, but at 12 ft-lbs, that means maybe 10 ft-lbs at elevation 4000 ft. If they pumped it up to 20+ ft-lbs I'd be interested. Thanks for sharing!

Would you do a follow up video after shooting 500 pellets through it please? I have heard mixed feelings about this gun and im intent on buying one. It seems the poor results are from straight out of the box shooting reviews and the good results are from guns that have been run in so to speak. I heard one guy say he hated it but persevered and it got beter and better. Im on the fence but its so beautiful isnt it for an air gun

I wish you would also use Crosman pellets and Daisy HP pellets when you do your reviews bud or at the least say " I didn't have any luck with these other pellets by brand". AEA, JTS are basically JSB pellets and others are made by H&N. Most of use and buy what we can get our hands on while shopping in .177 and .22 caliber. Those Daisy and Crosman pellets we get for less than half the cost of those you used. No hate bud. I love and appreciate what you do and teach us but still this is a solid reality that you don't cover when choosing your ammo sir. Just sayin. Stay blessed.

I just realise that you never had a FX for testing. I am not a FX fan but I wonder what you feel about it.

Nice looking air rifle but I get better groups at 25 yards with a Crosman 1300KT with an 18" barrel on it, and I'm not that great of a marksman.

As part of Gamo now I still think Gamo is more accurate. If my Gamo shoot like that there is either a problem with the ammo or me shooting it.

No criticism of the shooter but that's pretty shabby for a gun at that price and consistent with many other reviews. Why is it that a less expensive Gamo often outshoots the premium BSA? I'd either pay less for the Gamo or more for the Weihrauch.

Can only think bsa is trading on its name and past . And i own a few brilliant old ones . Seemly a gamo to me in a nice stock .dont get me wrong it looks nice .but its probably got a awful gamo trigger.oh and the ram will lose pressure and it wont group .

All bsa air rifles are crap and these are probably the worst in the range.
