personally i think for starters the Winecraft Gold® smoke bush is a good choice although the price may be a bit higher but i think it looks really nice and blends into the enviroment and can help you get that extra rotation when you need it

I'd improve the setup by setting the shutter speed on the Canon correctly... Follow the 180 degree rule (shutter at double the framerate) to ensure motion blur that's pleasing to the eyes :)

Since you actually ask for comments. I do watch your channel for a while. It's relaxing and hypnotic. I was tempted to upgrade to Fanatec CSL Elite from T300 but I got scared and sold the rig instead. I am affraid realism of sim racing could pull me in and I wouldn't be able to move on. Especially that it's possible to live of making youtube videos. Quality of the experience you provide here is outstanding though. All the best

Used a sticky mount with gopro on my motorbike helmet for years and it came off with 0 residue after all that time so reckon you'd be fine with it. A lot cleaner as you can just use a single 'J-hook' bracket for the gopro with that so no extenders and doesn't come up into your view

If you ever get hot in your rig I suggest getting usb clamp fans. I have one attached to each side of my DD2. (Beskar USB power clip on fan) I have them plugged into the back of the TV, they power off when the TV turns off so don't have to be bothered with that after you're done.

Your setup is honestly something I'd die to have. There's only one thing I have against it, and that's the racing chair, by that I mean the one you use at your PC, not the lovely Sparco seat. (same I use for seat+suit in go-kart) You'll do yourself a massive favor by getting a good office chair instead of that one. Personally I have a Herman Miller Aeron chair. They take some getting used to, but they're so good.

Great vid Steve. My mistake was I got a wheel stand for $150 when I could have gotten a full rig. Finding a good chair to go with a wheel stand is a pain.

It's pretty expensive and, like the gopro, illegal to have on your helmet during a race, but a Cambox can get a really good helmet cam angle. It goes inside the helmet at top of the eyeport.

Nice setup. Careful of all the LEDE lights though, the blue light can damage DNA, hence Windows has the 'night light' feature as do most phones and TVs now.
