I’m having a shoulder replacement on June 7,2024. I’ve had bi-lateral knee replacements 20 years ago and love them. I’ve been pain free for over 20 years.
Two weeks today post anatomical shoulder replacement. Let me just say I am essentially pain free since surgery. The arthritis pain is gone, pain from surgery virtually non-existent ( no pain pills needed). To anybody on the fence or skeptical I will say this. My arm hasn't felt this good in 35 years.
Thank you Dr. Barnes . This info was very informative . A year with bil shoulder pain. Had the cortisone shots twice. It will be effective for about seven weeks. I’ve been thinking about the surgery. Thank you for this information.
Thank you Dr. Barnes. I appreciate all the information about a Shoulder replacement. I now have a much better understanding of the various aspects. Its been very helpful and I will keep everything you covered in mind as I go forward.
Is it harder to recover from reverse shoulder surgery if you have already had a plate and screws put in to fix a humerus fracture and it was not realized at the time that the rotator cuff was also torn?
