For real. She got so many changes that had testers constantly changing between "she's top tier" and "she's a normal pyro dps". I still would prefer a lower skill cooldown like she had at 15 originally

Chevreuse C6 gives stacks to your active character when healed by E, so i don't think this will work unless they make some exception (and i doubt hoyo will make anything like this)

Yeah on beta tests it does work, similar way on why it works on full hp chars (you're not healed but you get the buff) That being said there's no stopping hoyo pulling another raidou

Even if a character is at full health you will still get the bonus from c6 chev. With that knowledge it works off heal intervals and not off the heal itself.

According to current knowledge, if C6 Chev heals a character but they don't actually receive healing (i.e. they are full HP), the buff still applies. So the current assumption is that it SHOULD work with Arlecchino. It would be quite disappointing if it is tested on release and it doesn't work.

thank you! From one sheet I've seen, C1 increases Arlecchino's team DMG by about 25%. Weapon depends on what other options you have and what teams you play, but assuming you compare it to R5 Deathmatch, her Sig will increase team damage by about 15%.

So is the charge attack hold high speed movement dependant on anything? For instance are you able to just use it outright or do you have to have some bond of life in order for it to do the high speed movement?

Hey I'm more new to the game and I have to ask, I plan to team Arlecchino with Bennett, Sucrose, and Xianling. I don't have any prevalent healers atm other than Barbara. Is it possible to slide Barbara in for vape and the added benefit of a healer? or add xinqui for that instead?

Remember that Arlecchino can't be healed, and since she'll be on-field most of the time attacking, she'll be taking most of the enemies' attacks. So, adding in a healer doesn't do very much in that team. In addition, Barbara's skill doesn't apply very much Hydro onto enemies, so she doesn't really help you vape. I would highly suggest using Xingqiu as his Burst applies a lot of Hydro for vape, while also providing damage reduction and resistance to interruption.

I'm gonna be honest, the way Hoyo words things and designs things, even the most simplest of minigames, there seems to always be an absolutely long winded word salad explaining things and it's the same here. The thing is, the moment I get to play, it'll be simple as hell, just use skill, and kill. It's the same with the minigames, massive round-about way of explaining a mini game and when you play it, it's just "Oh stay in this square for as long as you can".

Heck yeah a unit that finally uses the dark angels eyepatch team! Fischl, Chev and Beidou EDIT: Hey you forgot Yoimiya. Until Arle is released, she is prolly the only pyro onfielder that synergises with Chev the most, being a unit who doesn't care of knockbacks.

yea I was considering talking about Yoimiya, but decided to leave her out to make the point I wanted to express more simple. Yoimiya does fit the three archetypes as well (mono-pyro, vape, and overload) just like Arlecchino, but I personally don't think her overall strength is on the same level as the other 5* Pyro carries I mentioned, so I left her out. To me, Yoimiya's value comes more from her range and simplicity.

I can guarantee her when she comes out, but I’m wondering if I should pull for her or save for Neuvilette next rerun, since I lost the 50/50 on him on his current banner. I’m not really in desperate need for a DPS, but I’m kind of conflicted if I should get her or just save for Neuvilettes next rerun, how ever long that takes. I’m only considering arlecchino since I basically have all the units I need for her best teams.

Did you like how Neuvillette is played in combat? Do you think you'll get tired of his gameplay? Will you like how Arlecchino is played? Definitely try her out in the trial and see how her gameplay feels. Damage-wise, both Neuvillette and Arlecchino will do plenty of damage to run through abyss. Neuvillette is just a lot easier to play.

@@anddad I certainly enjoy the way he is played, but I also like Arlecchino’s play style, at least from the gameplay videos I’ve seen. I’m only worried that her damage will disappoint me, and I want to know if she’s worth it, since I can also basically guarantee Neuvilette and am worried that when she releases I’ll regret not getting her over Neuvilette.

@@thefishguyflipper1285 From the pre-release calcs I've seen on her team DPS, and the general trend of Fontaine 5* DPS characters, I have a good amount of confidence that her damage will be solid. However, your concern is 100% understandable, as sheet DPS and theory doesn't always translate to practical gameplay. Definitely wait for release to see some conclusions from TC after in-game testing!

For the weapon, since it bestows bond of life upon using a charged attack, and you typically don't want that on anyone that is not Arlecchino, does that mean the spear is dead on arrival if you dont have her?

the team is very strong initially, but your HP will be permanently at 50% HP after the first rotation, whether Furina is C2 or not. so your fanfare will be bricked later on and you'll have survivability issues with no healer, especially when considering 3 chambers in abyss. Would personally recommend utilizing Furina with another character to get full value out of her, but the team can still brute force with low HP

Both are fine, I would prefer team two with Bennett. You'll have longer buff uptime on his burst with Arlecchino versus the 10-second VV.

I really didnt bother building Bennet Up until now. For my arlecchino Team, i planned to use a Defensive and an offensive Variant with Kazuha, Xingqiu and either Bennet(offensive) or zhongli(Defensive). Is that Solid? And If so, how should I build Bennet?

That team sounds fine, you can even go both Zhongli and Bennett and take out Kazuha as another option. Bennett build is pretty simple and cheap: Go 4 Piece Noblesse with ER timepiece. As for the other artifacts, just find pieces with good ER substats. For his weapon, aim for a High Base ATK weapon. A good F2P option that I use is the Sumeru craftable, Sapwood Blade.

If you want to vertically invest in Neuvillette, C1 is a good pull. By no means needed though, he's very strong at C0. Really depends on if you want to make on character stronger or play a new character like Arlecchino for more gameplay variety. Personally, I prefer pulling new characters. Dottore "leaks" were long ago, we have no reliable idea if he'll be playable in Natlan or not.

@@ruxyruxandra4673 IDK what these people's defintion of "bad" is. Her damage is far from bad, her teams are looking quite good. IMO, most of her best teams will perform from "above-average" to "top-tier". If you like Arlecchino and want to pull, I don't think you'll be disappointed; most 5* limited DPS are good enough to clear abyss anyways.

Damage-wise, C1 will be better than R1 Signature, especially since you already have one of her best alternate 5* weapons. Pull-efficiency-wise, I think pulling for cons is much safer - if you lose the 50/50 and suddenly don't have enough, you can just save pity for the next limited 5* you want. For the weapon banner, you have to finish it though so you don't waste your Fate Points. Now if you want her to look better in combat and don't care about which is better for damage, then the drip of her signature weapon will be more "valuable" 😅

Will skyward spine r1 or white tassel r5 be better 4 her?

From some calcs I've seen, it ranges from the two weapons being very similar to Skyward Spine potentially being slightly better, depending on the team. However, these calcs don't account for ATK Speed, and I'm not sure whether ATK Speed will help in terms of comfort or not. The biggest plus for Skyward Spine is that you can pretty much burst every rotation just with that weapon, which may be useful for the consistent heal from the burst.

1. I find Blackcliff Pole's passive very inconsistent. Without the passive, White Tassel is better. 2. If you burst every other rotation, you don't need any. If you want to burst every rotation, ER can be 110%-130% depending on your team.

According to the main 5 stars you've told me (which I assume are the ones you're mainly playing), currently, your account doesn't immediately benefit from Kazuha. However, he can still be a good pull in the long run if you plan to pull other characters in the future that will work with him. You can pull Kazuha for Arlecchino to play some VV vape teams, but she has plenty of teams that don't use Kazuha. For instance, Arle - Bennett - XIngqiu - Flex Support. In terms of your Chev team you mentioned, it won't work because you need to trigger overload, so you'll need to put in an electro unit (for instance, Fischl for XIangling). But yes, that is another team archetype that doesn't use Kazuha. So personally, I wouldn't pull Kazuha JUST for Arlecchino. I would pull him if you want good support for OTHER characters (in addition to characters you have that can use him now such as Hu Tao and Arlecchino) you may pull in the future.

@@ghuolxgaming7603 You can go Arle - Bennett - Xingqiu - Kazuha/Sucrose/Fischl for a vape team if you're comfortable with just Xingqiu for defensive utility. Or you can go Arle - Bennett - XIngqiu/Yelan - Shielder like Zhongli if you want more safety.

@@ghuolxgaming7603 can pick any shielder, doesn’t have to be Zhongli, like Thoma, Layla. Also doesn’t have to be sucrose, can be any anemo support for VV. Last resort option, you can still use Xiangling in that slot and it might be fine (only thing I worry is that you might not have enough hydro to Vape both Xiangling and Arle)

Xq has 29% from crowned talent iirc, so in total you will get 42% from him. All the things you mentioned above will stack as a whole defensive utility for sure, but xq and beidou work as "dmg reduction", idk if the math is as simple as adding everything up since "dmg reduction" has different wording than "phys and elemental resistance"

Damage reduction and physical/elemental resistance are different things, so they don't add together. However, they complement each other.

I think Zajef77 explained Yunjins synergy with Arlecchino well in his pre-release video, but I will try to summarize his points here: Yunjin with Arlecchino can work together (similar to Yoimiya). However, Yunjin's two main buffs are not as good for Arlecchino as they are for Yoimiya. Yunjin's Ultimate gives additive damage to a character's normal attacks (similar to Shenhe quills). Because Arlecchino's attack scalings are higher than Yoimiya's, the effective damage she would gain from Yunjin is not as significant compared to if Yunjin was buffing a character with lower scaling like Yoimiya. Her second buff (at C6) is the ATK Speed. Since Arlecchino only cares about the number of hits and this is limited by her Bond of Life, she doesn't gain too much value from ATK Speed as compared to Yoimiya.

If I not misundertand, Arlecchino does not benefit from healing in battle, but she can still be healed when not on the field, which means that she can benefit from general healers like Kokomi, Baizu etc. Am I wrong?

This is what im wondering. I think you want to try and avoid characters that do big heals so it doesn't wipe away her bond of life (exception Bennett).

@@db1777 Bennett is out of question because he heals only one character at a time while on field. I was thinking more of an emergency healing type of thing, like: Arlecchino doing her tricks and everything and the healers come to her aid only if she is on the verge of dying (when she is not on the field). This could also be a way to use her with Furina. Arlecchino overall seems to me like a glass cannon and I prefer not to have to play with a shielder.

She cannot be healed externally even when off-field during combat. However, she can be healed OUTSIDE OF COMBAT (e.g. traveling in overworld, in domain before you hit start on the key, taking HP restore cards before each Abyss chamber, etc.).

Why do so many builders talk about Overload as if they've never actually used it? It's not some reaction that sends enemies flying into the distance, it's a minor knockback that gets caught by normal attacks anyway. God forbid you have to dash once sometimes.

The thing is Arlecchino shines when hitting multiple enemies at the same time. Overload separates them resulting on inconsistent dmg from having to face and dash toward different angles. Fortunately she's the only one who's supposed to consume stamina on her team, so will need to way until she comes out to se how well would she performs in an Overload scenario.

I am also on the boat the Overload isn't too "bad" of a downside. Its effect heavily depends on the enemies you're facing, and in Abyss it's rarely a lot of small mobs that fly all over the place. And as you said, a normal attacker like Arlecchino has an easier time chasing. Knockback can also be limited with better positioning. I do think it's a valid concern though, which is why I still address it.

@@anddad yeahhh but the thing is i got 66 wishes and 12 pity and guaranteed so i got a guaranteed arlecchino but if i get her early i probs wont be able to make it to pity again unless i maybe get lucky and get a double which is unlikely but if i do get an early i got 30 pity on the weapon banner yk?

@@MilaSCK hmmm that's not a lot of wishes, probably best to secure the guaranteed C0 and that's it (maybe pull a little more on her banner if there are good 4 stars you want more copies of). I wouldn't risk it on the weapon banner with that amount of wishes. Hopefully you have some of the weapon options I mentioned - they should be good enough

@@MilaSCK yea with no guarantee, if you miss her Sig you're gonna waste fate points. Deathmatch is extremely solid on her (IMO best 4*), so it's probably your best bet

It's still less Fanfare when using C2 Furina with Arlecchino compared to using C2 Furina with another character. C2 just gives you more Fanfare compared to C0. If you have C2 Arlecchino, however, you can set up with Furina first THEN Arlecchino Skill -> Burst -> Skill (you don't have to wait 5 sec with C2), allowing you to heal with Arlecchino burst at the beginning of the rotation to frontload more Fanfare.

@@cubation9254 Might be possible and even easy if you run Fav Greatsword and ER sands. But at that point, you're losing a lot of damage from Beidou. Might as well run Fischl with her so you can actually build more DMG stats on Beidou.

I'm almost have enough Primo for her and the signature weapon. But, I'm not even sure it's worth guarantee for her weapon, since that banner is kinda scam. If I ever try pulling for her weapon, it will be the first time in 3 year after playing Genshin trying out the Weapons Banner. 😖 Seriously Con or Signature?

C1 (damage) vs Sig (drip). However, I think the actual answer really depends on the 4 stars of each banners and if they are good for your account. She might have some valuable 4 stars (i.e Chev) that you may want copies of, incentivizing pulling for cons. The weapon banner could be the same way with good 4 star weapons. So even though C1 is generally better than Sig in terms of damage output, we'll have to see how the banners are first (and whether or not you value the drip).

i wonder why is no one considering using both xq and beidou with her. you can avoid using a shielder while keeping up both damage and defensive utilities. people undervalued beidou a lot. she's the equivalent of around 3-5 fischl. you dont need that much skill in energy management. or if you suck at the game, just use sac claymore on her. that should be more than enough energy even if you play like a fool.

hmm I guess you can just consider a Sucrose Taser team and just put Arlecchino there and it will be fine. Trades VV/grouping for single-target and shifts the damage composition more towards a single unit (Arelcchino).

with C6 Arelcchino, any team combo will be good 😂 You can replace Thoma for Bennett to buff your C6 Arle even more, but if you just want the shield, Thoma is perfectly fine
