We already made a video on cheap no-name SSDs. Here's one about how to get an actually good and reliable SSD that suits your needs. DO NOT buy these NVMEs. Chinese SSD test - • DO NOT buy these NVMEs... #mycomputer #ssd
hey! i totally agree with what u said, but i am trying for whole day, and can't find a single m.2 form factor ssd at 250-500 GB capacity from reliable/trusted brands. i searched for crucial, wd, hp, samsung, but no avail.
I like your review a lot. came As far as read and write speeds, its realy over rated and more even overly paid. I build I raid 0 (3 x evo plus 1 Tb) in a maxed out mac pro 5,1 on a pcie card reaching over 6500 mb per second.... costed me over 600$ Runned my raw processor from DXO and I processed about 10 raw images per minute, so that was nice! Than I took out the card, placed a single ssd from 1 Tb of Samsung on a simple pcie card and ran the same software again. (should be at least a lot slower right?) NO! Same processing time again, around 10 raw images per minute! So I spent a whole lot of money only to be able to say that I had these huge write/read speeds... So quickly I took the whole pcie card and the SSD's out, sold them and sticked with the "simple" pcie card with one slot. So I learned a lot from that. Thx for the great video!
Every single time all tech youtubers make the same mistake... Samsung EVO is not as good as you may think. The real king of NVME is Kingston KC3000, witch has more read/write speed than specification and better life time than Samsung
