The Acelepryn liquid for lawn applications lists 0.05 - 0.09 fluid oz per 1000 sq ft. What rate did you chose for your lawn? 0.05 to 0.09 is a big range don't ya think?
Grub Ex only allows for 1 application per year. So you'd be breaking the label to apply again. However you can get Acelepryn which is the same thing and allows for a second application.
it will work great and nowdays is much cheaper. It's just older tech so it doesn't last as long. If you are applying in mid-May you will still be fine.
Great content as always. I’m in Raleigh and don’t think I have a grub problem. Why? I’ve never seen junebugs. Growing up in east central Illinois we had TONS of them. I see some in the mulched areas when planting. What are the symptoms of grub / beetles? If you don’t see beetles are you good? Love your content app and products. What a great success story. Happy for you!
Thanks for the info. I've been battling moles for the past 9 months. I know I need to treat for grubs to take away their food source. Since I have a smallish yard, I'm going to get a bag of Scott's Grub-Ex.
I recently purchased bio advanced complete insect killer. Will this work as well as Scott's Grub Ex? I'm planning to apply it at the higher use rate of 2 lbs / 1,000 sq feet.
Can either of these grub products be applied on top of a fresh spring overseed program? New shoot growth is just beginning to appear and I’m not familiar with “do’s & don’t” of combining the two. Thanks for any insights.
@@yardmastery yes, I understand that there’s two broods that come out and this is the first time in hunnerts of years they come out in the same year. Thanks for everything you do! I have the app and did soil analysis last year, working the app calendar this year.
