@@kennethkho7165 you are repeatedly commenting this same comparision in comment section. So read this full dmbazz, ISRO and SpaceX cannot be compared, one is government and other is private. SpaceX's basis of working to earn more and increase profits, pure capitalism. ISRO shares its technologies with private companies, SpaceX don't. And BTW who told you annual spending of SpaceX that you are so keen on comparing it with ISRO? SpaceX have literally not posted about their annual spending publically.
@kennethkho7165;•) no, a vision is needed. Without, the best people will only waste much money. Werner vonBraun had a vision, and the Moon rocket was only one smaller piece of it. The direct aproach is a huge waste of everything. He had already calculated this, even before NASA was installed. And now we do the same old nonsense again. Elon Musk has a vision. All the progress and innovations from SpaceX are just a side effect. And the administrator of ISRO also is surely not without a bigger picture, of where he wants the developement to go. 🚀🏴☠️🎸
Comment section is wild. I can't really comment on India's economic climate, but I think its great that space access is getting easier. Its easy to talk of how money could be spent, but at the end of the day, having a space program creates lots of jobs in industries that would otherwise only exist in more wealthy countries. This significantly reduces brain drain, helps national pride and with space being so vital, not just for exploration or conquest, but for improving life on earth, I think India certainly benefits from this program. The rest of the world certainly does and will, for one thing, many wealthy countries seem to have forgotten how to land probes on the moon, while India is out there doing it and gathering valuable science.
Why is America wasting so much money on space when they have so many homeless people and drug addicts? What about Russia where they have so much of their population in poverty and their economy in shambles? Nobody complains about that, but when India invests in space, then it's a problem. Hmm I wonder what's different about America, Europe, and Russia vs India.
Is it really though, india and china's space programs are old school government space programs mostly for nationalistic propaganda/pride. What really makes access to space somewhat easier is private companies like SpaceX, Blue Origin and others competing against each other.
@@AM-tu1rc What do you mean nobody complains about that? Not so sure about Russia, but people have been talking shit about the US and European space programs for the exact same reasons you just highlighted. Probably because you just haven't been paying attention to such videos/comments because you're not watching those.
People like to talk about how the money spent on space programs can be better spent on things like healthcare and poverty alleviation and whatnot. As if the politicians will really entertain such ideas. Even if they cancel the space programs, the money will NEVER be directed to these causes. They'll direct the money to some other causes which will be more lucrative... for THEMSELVES. The reason there is poverty is not because of space programs, it is because the politicians doesn't give a fuck about you, and that won't change regardless of space program spending.
you hit the nail right on the head in regards to that bit about brain drain, indian government is filled with incompetent, corrupt and malicious bureaucrats & politicians, the only good & not insufferable thing about such a country is a space program. but i will bet they'll pervert that too.
Haters praise SpaceX for making US space mission affordable compared to the previous overpriced nasa rockets but will hate ISRO when they make successful soace missions in affordable cost. Wasn't SpaceX's whole moto was to make human space travel cheaper? Then why the hate when another space agency dies the same at even lower cost?

i am sure Bharat will increase ISRO's budget in the coming years as our GDP grows. By 2040, ISRO will be on a whole different level altogether with huge funding.
The Indian government has recently approved and allocated funds for several significant space projects, including the Indian Space Station, Chandrayaan-4, LUPEX (Lunar Polar Exploration), the NGLV (Next Generation Launch Vehicle, a heavy-lift launch vehicle), a Venus mission, and a new launch port. As per ISRO's plans, the SPADEx (Space Docking Experiment) mission is scheduled to be launched before December 15th, while the Gaganyaan-1 (G1) mission is expected to launch by the end of this year. Additionally, ISRO is set to submit the project report for Mangalyaan-2(including Mars Lander) to the Space Commission for approval.
I don’t know why you said China is having an issue, what issue? China is on schedule for setting a moon base and their time line is far ahead of India, whose schedule aimed to achieve in 2040s what China has already achieved. American moon mission is slightly more ambitious, but so far, has been dismal to say the least.
Sir LVM 3 have capacity 10000kgs to LEO and 4000kgs to GSTO . and ISRo is developing NGLV rocket which have a capacity of 20000kgs to 25000kgs to LEO and 10000kgs to 12000kgs GSTO which will be ready till last of this decade.

What instruments or vehicle parts specifically cannot be shrunk below a certain threshold?
