I still think she was sixteen in Ireland because she looks like in Cambodia and has the backpack already, but the timeline is so funny when it comes to Chronicles, I think we can find at least three different "official" dates 😅 But yeah, Classic Lara is so cool, I hope more people find this video! Sure there are still some more details that could be added, but not every newcomer wants a long essay (they might dig deeper later, if they're interested😁). I think this was a great overview!❤

Looking back I wish I went into a bit more detail and maybe one day I'll do a big overview of Lara's timeline filled with spoilers but for now I think this can help build the hype. Speaking of which, there's a bit of a mess with the aunties, I think there are at least three, a great auntie who got Lara the mansion, and then at least two (not great) aunts? And it's not clear whose was the corgi. And one of them would probably be Melissa's mother. Oh and one of them would be very strict because Lara didn't want to travel with her around Europe (maybe that'd be a fourth auntie?). Those aunts of Lara's are surprisingly complicated!😂 Haha yeah, I'm trying to keep away from spoilers too! So I started playing Oblivion with a character who may or may not look and be named similar to Natla😅 Hope you enjoy the remasters too!🥰

Enjoyed this one so much i watched it through again - this was so well written and explained, especially as the timeline can get a bit muddled once we get to TRC. You're definately a fave channel of mine for TR and all Lara content, and really looking forward to the next one 😊❤❤

This video got me doing some digging of my own, because I vaguely remember someone mentioning that the Russia section of TRC took place when Lara was 18, but according to the official timeline (source: tr forums, so take with a grain of salt) it's set in 1994, which would make her 26. Everything gets kinda wonky when TRC is introduced, because that game was made with no consideration for the timeline and just vibes..... Anyways, another great video! There were quite a few fun little facts that I didn't even know 😮
I forgot to include that mission as well as the Rome mission (I think Lara is 19?) and even including the Ireland levels I've heard different accounts that Lara was 11 and not 14, even though she's got the backpack from TR4 so early it should be set after Cambodia when she's 16.... Not gonna lie there are times when i wish i could had been introduced to her on my childhood, though then again i probably wouldn't had the best of times not understanding the complex levels as i do now lol. But nevertheless she seems to be the kind of badass lady i probably would had a crush on so badly as i do now too, she just really caught my attention, i mean granted i was introduced to Legend Lara first thanks to some fan art, but then i would see Core Lara and how awesome she is, i do like both Laras though. You did quite a good exposition of telling who Core Lara is and yeah if i had a chance I'd love to play the remasters someday if i had any of the modern consoles, but for now I'm playing the ps1 emulator and finished the first two games, I'm still getting in to the third game really.
Ah excellent! If you do play the remasters I'd love to know what you think compared to the originals. TR2 is my favourite so I hope you've enjoyed that one, TR3 is a bit harder and I still struggle with but I'm eager to play it again soon 😁 thanks for your comment! ♥️
