Hoping Fossil Fighters comes back this year since Nintendo is seening how the other 3rd Party Devs r bringing back Dragon Quest Monsters and Yo-Kai Watch as well.
glad you making these videos and breaking the crazy stigma about every taming monster game being a pokemon like, you are making a big impact for indie devs, thanks for your contributions man.
Super excited to play Lumentale. I paid for the kickstarted and it looks super promising. Also tried Disc Creatures and its way better than what I expected. 100% recommended, specially if you enjoy dragon quest monsters or Monster rancher. Ive tried the majority of games covered in this channel (the ones that have been released) and Disc Creatures its probably my favourite.
You just popped up in my feed again for the first time in ages. I remember watching Kindred Fates updates back when you had like 1K followers. Awesome work growing the channel man.
Happy new year ! I got Dragon Quest Monster for my Christmas vacation and completed it around the same time your last video got up^^ love the endgame grind, can’t wait for Palworld and so on !
Certainly some there that I'm looking forward to! Especially Palworld, if they're really gonna finally open up to the world. The hype and Skeptics are so high on that one alone.
Happy New Year! I’m so excited for Beastieball, it really speaks to me as a concept and I loved the demo. My guess based on the latest updates from the dev team is that the full game won’t launch until Q3 / Q4 this year, though - but will absolutely be worth the wait.
Happy New Year, Ed! Can't wait to see some more Monster Taming News from you! I also just have Monster Sanctuary CE for Switch as my Christmas gift which became the my most favorite 2023 gift I have!
Yea it will. But I hear its just the journey, and it doesn't even have the psp fmc route. I would have bought it had it had the awnser as well but it doesn't and is still ps2 exclusive
Gotta wonder why we don’t have a Pokémon game in the style of Kindred Fates and Kubberz the closest we’ve had was PokePark, which I’d honestly sell my soul to see either remade or just given another release, kinda same with Mystery Dungeon, we haven’t had an actually new PMD game in more than 5 years i believe
I Guess it's harder to make an action based combat where every creature has it's own animations, VFX and other stuff. Like pokemon reuses a lot of animations in several attacks, for example, and just by changing the VFX they call it another skill and call it a day. The animation work is also much simpler, I guess. Basically every single creature in those games are much like a League of Legends Character, I would say.
@@Fabio-zc7bsthat’s literally what Pokepark did tho, every pokemon in that game had something unique to offer, they could do it easily but they’re far too content to keep releasing half assed games with features an actual 10 year old could improve upon Legends Arceus was also extremely close to being this with how interesting it’s interactions in the world were, kinda sad we’ll probably never see another Pokémon game in that style (at least officially) Nintendo should really take some time and focus on making a really good pokemon game and release it only when it’s actually complete
You happen to know about some mmo from like maybe 15 years ago with playable characters being sort of human crossed with the Chinese zodiac, there was monster taming where you could have 1 fighting by your side and wear another as a stat buff.
Happy New Year Ed! Looks like some nice games are lined up for this year and I am looking forward to this years Monster Direct if you get enough entries!
That's one more, Bagdex, it's a brazillian culture inspired game, and have more than 150 monsters, u should see something about this. And happy New year man.
Aye happy new years bro! I'm super excited for new pokemon this year and man I hope they get these right tbh. Hopefully some surprise digimon games too. 🤞😊
Poglings might be a worthy game to add to the monster title list. It's more like Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 chao farming but it's a great kickstarter I am looking forward too!
Thanks for this video. I added pretty much every game to Steam Wishlist. (shame about the mobile game as it looks awesome, but I don't play on mobile). And Mythren which doesn't even have a Steam page, so that's not looking too good and they certainly aren't keeping their twitter up to date. So that's not looking too good either, another game that I think could benefit from Palworld's success since it has action elements as well. These games need to stop tossing online into them. I know it's a selling point for many, but the costs involved and skill required to do it properly is too much for usually tiny teams of often inexperienced newbie developers who are more full of ideas than they are skillsets to achieve the ideas. Which is why I think a lot of these are MIA in the first place. Especially the more ambitious 3D action oriented ones. It really stinks as a lot of these I have on my wishlist already and I was like "oh yeah, this!" But then "oh yeah.... this, but it still isn't out though. Will it ever come out?" The indie scene for this subgenre needs to get better at completing things because it is very disheartening and reminds me why I stopped following similar channels that kept me updated on them.
I hope Palworld will eventually also drop on Switch! My Laptop definitly won't be strong enough to play it properly so a Switch-Release would be appreciated if it does well! That being said, it's supposed to be a Beta, that releases right? So I'm open to wait for the Fullgame to come out eventually, since I don't play Early Access Games really :D
u shall never has my soul ill always break freeeeeeeeeee muwahahah like the rebelious fiend i am x'D also nice video! some of these are intresting since i do like monster tameing/trainning genera
I am super excited for kindred fates, assuming it does actually come out for switch and is a solid port. Will look forward to staying updated with that game in particular!
I'm happy my favorite game genre is getting lots of cool new games, however, it'd be nice if they started taking mobile players more seriously. From all of these, even the pixelated ones, only EvoCreo 2 is coming this year for mobile, although I honestly doubt it 😂
I feel like kindred fates is slowly losing its position. The game was very interesting at the time, but there are a lot of other games releasing that are similar concepts, and appear more "done" then they are.
Im waiting that someone would do a high graphics monster taming game with a dark story, universe and partly dark monsters, like I mean visually a monster taming game in the devil may cry universe with that style of monsters to collect like a 4k flaming, skeleton cerberus, gargoyles other demons or smth, monster taming games are always low graphic, cartoonish made for a young audience visually but also complex in strategy for older people, its kinda sad. Guess its too much work to animate all attacks, interactions and too hard to do to ever exist.Thaumaturge is the cloest it gets to my wish I guess, but the taming is just a side aspect not the main focus.
Palworld idk about, once I don't like the guns in the game. I'm not going to lie, I might try the game to see if it's going to be good more not. Because we all know GameFreak is flopped on making any good Pokémon for years now.
you seem like you skipped an other monster collecting game that already come out in Korea Digimon Super rumble its a turn base MMOrpg set in digimon world you can sign up and play it but its in Korean
I didnt forget it I just found out about it like two days ago but its more of a fangame right? Its using a bunch of IPS they don't have the rights to lol. Imma still try it tho
how in the world Palworld will manage to avoid a copyright strike is beyond me. Their Mons look like Chinese knockoff brand Pokemon. It's absolutely ridiculous.
