@@heavyhauler426 That would be like 130,000 tourists a week and we all come in a day early (or 2 if there are things to do) and stay and eat AND DRINK. and shop. I would totally rather stay in Cocoa than Orlando because if something happens and I can't board on time, I have someplace to hang out instead of sitting in the airport. I would strongly prefer Brightline to the various stop gap transportation issues from MCO to PC. Cruising may take a hit soon from mega healthcare corporations restricting PTO so it might not matter to me once my current PTO requests are completed in late 2024. I haven't been able to secure any 2025 PTO which makes cruising reservations risky. Delaying until I have approval costs money, and I have been approved as I waited to taxi in the airplane on 2 occasions.

I think a lot of people would use it for launch days to avoid the traffic jams. Those are definitely not fun.

@@alrio8102 aight so I forgot to comment but the easiest way to pick up someone is walking from the train station to the departing or arriving flights in terminal c cause the other place I saw where you could pick up someone was on terminal's c parking so yea kinda odd

i would also suggest for the person waiting for you to stay at the 7 eleven in the airport so they don't get pushed out

The US is extremely vast, going from train from nyc to la will never be practical. Flying will always be cheaper and quicker no matter what even with bullet trains (and flying will certainly be cheaper than a bullet train from nyc to LA). People like you have no idea how stupidly big the United States. Also, Florida already had a train both amtrack and tri rail. This will be the third railroad service in Florida. Lmao shows how much you know

​​​@@NicEeEe843ain't no one talking to about going from NYC to LA on a train, we are talking about going from NYC to Boston on a train (Amsterdam to Paris). amtrack has old, Diesel trains that are almost never on time. Places like Japan, China, Germany and France already have high speed rail for these distances, and are almost always faster than flying.

@@randomnamd627Trains in the Uk are so expensive, I lived there for awhile and I knew people who would meet family in Spain rather than train within the Uk because it was so much more expensive 😂. People in most EU countries are taxed 40-60% federal taxes for the privilege of not very good service, the trains in Germany are always late!! It’s a meme that the trains are usually late but very clean. Having a bullet train from Boston to nyc is stupid because it’s so close that people can fly for cheaper. There is no way having a bullet train built in 2024 where the price of construction is through the roof there’s no conceivable way in your la la land world where we can construct a bullet train that won’t be way more extremely expensive and not far of a train ride enough to make it worth it instead of a way cheaper flight. Most trains like in the UK are expensive, there’s no way we make an affordable train it will come at a high premium. You’re living in some fantasy world where constructing things costs super cheap and people don’t already struggle to afford plane tickets let alone bullet train ticket that will cost exorbitantly more. Brightline tickets aren’t cheap imagine the price of a train even more advanced it would be double the cost of brightline if not more and brightline is already way more expensive than flying. If the free market wants to build bullet trains let them, but pls don’t spend public money 😂😂. The market in the US generally doesn’t like trains because they are always more expensive. I’ve taken Amtrack many times in the state of New York and they were on time unless it was Christmas or new years, but the ride was always present and quick.

impossible with these trains....diesel track only and most of the line has dozens if not a hundred road crossings.

He did say there are elevators to the platform, so there is accessibility. As for bicycles, this video is about the inside of the station. Information is elsewhere for parking -- cars, bicycles, scooters, golf carts, whatever.
