So i already book my flight (3 months) and my plan is to get tourists visa online for 60 days, and then once I am in thailand I wanna get a 30 days visa extension However from embassy they told me they can not guarantee I will be let in at the airport because my ticket will be with a date of return after 3 months and my visa will be 2 months. So now I fucked up my tickets flight are non-refundable so what can I do😕😕
@@Pokerrr You can buy a cheapie one way or return on a budget airline to a nearby country within that 60 day visa you have. ON arrival you should get a 30 day visa on return.
Missing from your video. At the Airport As soon as you arrive in Thailand with the pre-approved E-VOA, follow the steps mentioned below: Go to the Visa on Arrival area in the immigration area and enter the dedicated E-VOA lane Present your passport to the officer Get the final immigration approval and enter Thailand
Hey Skye, what about point 7? You glossed over it ☺️ confirmation of legal residence in the country you are applying for the visa. I am British? So, passport?
@@kevinwatterson9110 so if I arrive on METV then extend on day 25 I leave Thailand on day 90 then arrive back in Thailand again get another 60 days then I can extend again right?
@@Digseysyes that is correct, A multi entry visa is valid for 6 month , 60 days in Thailand then 1 extention =90 days you must now leave and can return to Thailand within the 6 moth visa period, when you return automatic 60 day visa then extend 30 days =90 days Now your up to 180 days 1n Thailand, But if you leave on 175 day and return same day ,You get another 60 day visa extend for another 30 days , so you have now stayed in Thailand 3 days short of 9 months ,But Don't forget whilst your away from Thailand day a ticking away ,So best to leave and return the same day,
Hey, great video. Just one question - point 7.. what do I need to upload here? An English driving license? I’m from the UK and will be in the UK when applying for 60 day single entry
Thanks for the video! After the 60 day tourist visa expires and you cross the boarder do you have to apply for another tourist visa to get back into Thailand?
it is now 3 months you get 2 months when you arive once you are in the country you can aply for another 30 days then you need to leave the country then when you enter again you get 30 says visa on your passport then you can aply for another 30 days then leave again and come back to thailand you can only do this 2 times a year leave and come back .
I'm from the UK - Can I arrive on the normal 1 month visa on arrival then leave at the end of my months stay to another Asian country and apply for the 60 day single entry online even if I'm not in the UK e.g. if I was in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines etc?
It is called visa-exempt entry not Visa on Arrival as that is completely different. You get a free visa-exempt 30-day entry every time you enter Thailand. This can be done twice a year via land entry and virtually unlimited by air. You can extend each time you enter for a further 30 days at any immigration office for 1900 baht. Getting a tourist visa from a country you are not resident in can take up to a month.
Hi Skye, great video. You just stopped me from buying an exp. Elite Visa 🙏👍. How long of a Hotel stay you need to show on a 60 day multiple entry visa? And where do you get dummy flight tickets from? I will stick with your channel 👍, thanks in advance
Does that Dummy ticket actually work??. Please do let me know. Or do you have to book a flight and take a risk not knowing if the visa will be granted?
How come no one ever talks about needing to buy a flight out of Thailand before you apply for the multiple entry visa ? So you buy and schedule the outgoing flight at exactly 6 months, then what happens if they decline your multi entry visa? They have already forced you to buy a ticket for that six month date.
Hi Skye! Thanks for this video. I just want to ask, in applying multiple visa is it okay if I submit the hotel booking for first 30days we're staying? or should we submit the booking confirmation for 60days? but of course we do have the return ticket already booked within 60 days. Coz we don't know yet where we'll be staying for the next 30days. Thanks in advance! 🙏
@@lenseofficial Hey! So Basically they just approved my Multiple Visa yesterday- it took 3working days which I really didn't expect it that fast. I submitted only the first 30days(or even a week if you want to) - goodluck!

Hi Skye, thanks for a useful video. I've already got the single entry visa to stay in Thailand for 60 days, now when I leave the plane and go through the customs officer, what do I have to do, assuming that I carry a Tourist Visa as opposed to others who use the visa exempt scheme??
Hi how are you thanks for your video I just have a question for you I am from Canada and you said on the one part of document of accommodation you mentioned an invitation letter do I have to write the hotel and ask him to send me one or just my confirmation of my booking that I have online ??
Just applied for single entry tourist visa from UK, didn't ask for previous stamps, didn't ask for photo holding passport, didn't ask for bank statement.
Omg I’m in the same situation I applied yesterday and never for bank statements nor passport, My flight is booked for 30th of this month I wanted to know how do you think it’ll take to get the visa? Plz help I’m stressing

Hello, do you know if it's okay for us to apply to the Tourist visa for South Korea? We will be here 2 weeks and want to apply from here as we are digital nomads and are always on the move. Thanks in advance!
Hi Skye, Im going to fly to Cambodia from Bangkok, do I need a multiple entry visa to get back into Thailand? Or do I get another 30 day visa? Im flying back to the Uk from Bangkok Im on a British passport. Thanks
Hi Skye, I have a question. I am a US citizen arriving in April 2024 in Bangkok from Tokyo. Do you think immigration will let me into Thailand if I do not have an outbound flight from Thailand to another country? Thanks
How picky are they about our picture that we submit? Like , do we need to get them professionally done and do they need to be exactly the right size? What size is this? Can we really do it ourselves?
Do you have to provide accomodation details for the full 60 days? I am planning on renting once i arrive but will book a hotel for the first few days of arrival, is a hotel for a couple of days long enough to provide as evidence for the Tourist Evisa? Or do i legitemately have to book a hotel that lasts my entire thailand stay when applying for the evisa? Australian btw
Hey Skye thanks for the video! Is this the same for Australians we can stay upto 60 days and get another 30 days or is that just uk? I wanted to stay for atleast 6 months could I arrange this when I arrive ?

How do I verify that I am working with an authorized agent? Before I provide my PII or wire tens of thousands of dollars to places I want to verify that the agent is authorized by the Thai GOV, Thank you.
Hi for step 5, you have too have proof of leaving the country in 60 days but if you plan on extending for 90 days what should you do? I dont want too book a return flight in 60 days and extended, rather book in 90 days.
I have this same question. We have booked a return flight that is 70 days out, as that is how long we wanted to stay. Are we going to have to change that flight reservation to have us returning in 59 days, or less, before we can apply for the visa? If we do that, then we have to change our ticket back to stay longer, after we get into Thailand. Changing the ticket, twice, gets expensive, and your seat options get more limited. Not a good route to go, if we can avoid it.
Can you get multiple tourist entrie or single without hotel accommodation booked or flights either way, ie: get accommodation out there as short stays & late flights when you know you have visa. Thanks
Do you need to have travel plan for exiting the country when you first arrive. And if so how do you extend? Would you just have to buy a second or roundtrip plane ticket?
Sorry one more question when taking a photo of myself with my passport you demonstrated a single picture what it should look like what should the picture of myself and my passport look like kind of the same with me holding it out in front of my face sort of thing not covering my face obviously LOL??
Hi Skye..... is that dummy ticket thing real? Or do you have to actually book a flight before you apply?. As im worried paying for a flight to the other side of the world and may get rejected. Please advise and thank you so much in advance.
Hi, I was wondering if u could explain to me about the from validity, to validity printed on my visa. My visa's dates don't correspond to my time of stay. My To validity is till the 16 July, but my flight out and hotel stay is till the 24th July. Plz help
What should you do if you are not flying into thailand(crossing laos border) and dont have a return flight booked? And so unable to fill out travel booking conformation
Hi Skye! We are trying to figure out if we can get a tourist visa without having a departure flight booked to leave Thailand. We currently have a one-way ticket, and we're planning on leaving Thailand 55 days from when we arrive, but we aren't sure where we want to go next! Do you think this will pose problems for us in applying for our visas? Thanks!
@@TrillzMMA We ended up buying an onward ticket to another country before we arrived in Thailand. Our ticket was a departure within 60 days of our arrival date. However, they didn't check to see if we had an onward/return flight when we arrived... customs was really a breeze. So you might not even need to buy an outward ticket before you get there but I still would. We did visa on arrival and didn't have to buy a visa or anything. We just showed up and they stamped our passport. We did have to go to the immigration office in Pai to extend our visa from 30 days to 60 days. Make sure you do this before the 30 day mark or you'll get a late fee. Or you can pop over into Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam etc and come back in.
If you apply for multiple entry tourist visa what do you put in to departure date as not sure where going next and what do you have to do when wanting g to return to Thailand
Great video Skye, I followed your instructions as per video for single entry 60 days, I only have 8 sections to fill in not 12 and no declaration form available in section 3 Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong please? Thanks
If you don't know when you want to leave (for an METV), would I be able to book a one way flight and then return flights to a neighbouring country as proof of onward travel? Or do I need to book return flights from the UK?
Hi, could you please help suggestion. My bf ED visa will expire next week and we are planing to visit Laos ( we are currently living in Udon Thani). Can we apply for METV from Laos? (He is from Uk) Thank you very much :)
Hi Skye! Thank you for this helpful video. I have a question: I'm planning to apply for Single Entry Tourist visa and planning to stay just 7 nights. Should I provide 3 or 6 months bank statements? Thanks in advance! ☺️
You don't need a visa ,At Bangkok Airport your granted a 30 day exempt visa that lasts 30 days but you need to show onward travel out of Thailand within 30 days
Where does it say that you need a 3 month statement for a single entry? I believe it's just one month and as long as you have their money worth 20.000 thb you should be fine. Also they don't really pay attention to such nuances that much.
Does it defo work when you write down "not needed" for the proof of who ur staying with? And employment could you just write unemployed not needed? Alot of people leave work to travel? Its very thai and annoying for a simple visa
if you are planning on doing a visa run or perhaps you just plan to ask for an extention, how are you supposed to provide a flight OUT of thailand for the visa application?
@@TrillzMMA it wasn't an issue for me, i just booked a 1 way flight for the tourist visa because that's what was reccomended by some thailand vet, in fact he said it hurts you if you provide evidence of a flight out, for whatever reason. So 1 way flight to thailand, and hotel booking (can just be for a few days thats fine) is enough evidence for the tourist evisa
Just adding to my previous comment.. on the 6 month visa do you still have to extend for 30 days after the initial 60 days (with a cost of 1900 baht)? And after 90 days you have to leave the country for a visa run to renew again for 60 days and again extend for 30 days (pay again)making it 6 months in total
You can extend 1 time 30 days , then leave Thailand Skye says you can return to Thailand and get 60 days (NO Correct) the only way you can get 60 days is by way of visa application for 60 days , on your return to Thailand with no visa you get 30 days by flight into Thailand or 15 days by land
Hello Skye let's say i am 10 days vefore my visa (extension) expire and im still in thailand can i apply for a new tourist visa online so i xan just leave the country 10 days later and pop back in the same day?
If I get my e-visa (60 days, single entry) how many days will I have to start my trip? Can I come to Thailand say in 3 month and still use my visa for 60 days staying?

Just applying and it has not asked me for copy of travel pages or a photo of me holding my passport. On the accommodation, I will be renting a condo, is this classed as Private Property, as it is own by a German national? Also under Private Property, it asked for a Thai contact number. My contact has a German telephone number, which I can not add. Do I use the Condo admin telephone?
Book a hotel that is free to cancel and use that booking for your visa. If you plan to extend your visa you must make sure the condo owner informs immigration, within 24 hours of your arrival, that you are staying in his condo using form TM30
@@MrJaggg88 if your tourist visa lasts 60 days, do i need to provide a hotel booking that spans 60 days when applying for the evisa? or can i just book a hotel for say a couple of days to a week and use that as accomodation details for the visa application?

Hello skye help me out here I’m so confused about applying my visa for example on November 29 is where the day I leave my country then come back at February 12 -2024 and in visa website it said u can’t stay for less then 60 days how many months should I apply for ?
Only one option, apply online for a 60 day visa, near the end of 60 day visa go to immigration office and apply for 30 day extension, or you could visit another country and re-enter Thailand no more than 30 days before your flight home.
@@perryeg any country close to Thailand, day trip it's called a visa run. Most people extend their 60 days at local immigration office for 1900 baht, this can be done once. Then leave Thailand on a visa run, get granted 30 days on arrival, this too can be extended for 30 days. So that's 60 + 30 day extension, border run another 30 days, another 30 day extension. 150 days.
@@kick_rockss I just ended up getting a 30-day extension, left to Manila for a month to explore, and then came back and got another VOA 👍🏼 I believe the trick is to get your actual Thai TOURIST visa before you arrive (2 months) and THEN get the extension for the third. Are you already here on a VOA?
@@JusKooolin well I believe today,now,.....just keep in mind that first you need to buy a plane ticket, you going to need to provide some flight information when you apply, I would make sure you have a Gap between you flight date and application approximately 10 days.
so I can stay for exactly 30 days without visa? I booked flight already and now I heard about this Visa thing. I will be LEAVING on my 30th day in Thailand.
If you are applying from the UK some of those questions do not apply now.Such as holding your passport and stamps of previous travel. And the declaration is signed automatically in your name you just have to confirm this. This is from October 23
Wrong, you DO have to have a photo of you holding the passport, I've just submitted an application, it's the photo of passport stamps that have gone and also having to print, sign and upload the declaration has gone
Does visa starts from the day of entry or from the day they approve your visa? For example if I apply now but I book my flight in two months, as tickets are way cheaper buying several months in advance. Thanks
