The AT-3600-L is a very good cartridge. There is some negativity about the cartridge maybe because if it's low price. The high end audiophiles would probably be more positive if it sold for a high price. But high price doesn't always equal better in the confusing world of hi-fi phono cartridges. I'm no expert but I think that most magnetic phono cartridges are similar to some extent. If the cartridge sounds good to you that's all that matters. I couldn't tell any difference in the separation test. My phone only has one built in speaker.
I'm running one of those on a Gemini 2410 I just got because it's what it came with AND just paying $25 to replace the stylus on what it already had was the cheapest route to getting up and running. It honestly sounds great and as good as an LP60 sounds already, this cart sounds even better on a nicer, calibratable turntable that's just feeding the tonearm directly to a receiver's phono-stage.
Hi ! Have a question ! I´ve just bought a pair of turntables and want to begin to mix. Do you think I can use 2 of this AT cartridge for that. Not for scratching, just mixing with both turntables.
i just ordered this one on amazon. coming from a sn 28 for a sansui sr 222 belt drive turntable. i thought it would improve sounds but...if i take it from your video i kinda blew it.
Would the AT3600L offer a discernible improvement over the stock stylus DSN-82 that comes fitted on a Denon DP-29F turntable? As you are deeply into this cartridge, I thought you might have had the experience of comparing these two cartridges, especially as the AT3600L can replace the stock stylus of the Denon. Thanks for your help.

I like the 3600 for jukebox use, although both times I've ordered these, they've come with red styli. I think the heavier tracking ones should be either white or grey. Not sure what the red one is.
@@bigwaawaa6444 Not sure I understand. They were sold to me as AT3600L cartridges. I really received AT91R carts? I need the stylus that tracks at 3-5 grams.
I'm familiar with the AT3600L. It really is an excellent cartridge, but those sound samples of yours sound awful. They'd put me off buying one if I didn't already know how good it could sound.
Sounds dull and lifeless lacking high end, and any real bass …… not something to brag about ….. tracking at the high force they recommend is not great for preservation of your records ….. it is cheap for a reason !
nope , the tracking force at 3 not damage records and no its not dull and lifeless. All the review of this carthridge are positive. Some audiophile are just blown away of the quality of sound of this stylus .Its comparable to stylus at 300 or 400 dollards
