Unbelievable!.....what's the point of discussing after it's been voted on?? this just sums up the EU, thank god we are leaving and I hope other countries will follow us IF the EU let them, sadly I don't think they will.

'vote' before a debate? This baffles Englishmen. We debate, argue and row with each other all the time. Parliament is a concentrated version of this.... Debate and argue, then vote. It's why our Parliament exists. The Europeans have always played catch up with the UK, politically speaking. We've had a sophisticated and advanced politcal system for centuries. EU countries have not, well...except old Rome which doesn't exist any more. Democracy is what the UK does well...most of the time. It's what we're internationally known for. France, Germany and the rest.....are not.

To discuss the topic after the vote? Democracy not working and inactive. As for the next topic driving. Have you seen the way they drive abroad? Ridiculous, no Highway Code, a free for all, generally a lack of signs and signposts and cliff edge unsafe, unmade roads. I hired a car abroad it had no brakes !!! Needless to say I refused to accept it.
