In this video I go over everything you need to know about the Fortnitemares update in Fortnite Season 4. The Fortnitemares update brought several map changes including an entirely new poi Freaky Fields. This update also added the witches broom, pumpkin launcher and wood stake shotgun. Just get rid of the auto turret and the repulsor function of the combat kit. Broken movement items are pretty cool tbh.

I totally get it but...having a jetpack, chainsaw and shoulder turret does a pretty good job creating a horror type scenario. You can't get away, and you take a little bit of damage every time you get caught. Surprisingly effective horror element for a battle royale

There’s also the Mephisto NPC at the underworld which if you give 20 health to him he would give you a weapon, 40 health is a augment and 99 health your squad gets rebooted pretty cool mechanic

I agree. It makes most of the new items pointless, which is a shame since they're more fun to use. It's also still hard to find, and you're at a severe disadvantage without one

Chainsaw is very scary the first few fights with it's 75 damage but it's hard to find and we've had worse

It drives me nuts how the weapons are bugged now, and don’t show what attachments you have on your weapon now when equipped. You can only see the attachments before you pick them up.

Lol is anyone else having problems with the jigsaw challenge? It doesn't drop any special loot for me if I eliminate the other player. Not only that, but there were two times I tried it and the duel started yet straight up did not give me an opponent lol. The goal just said "Eliminate" and no one was marked on the map for me. I like the idea of the jigsaw challenge but it's bugged for me rn.

I like using the jigsaw flying bomb to find people that were hiding in the cornfield. I imagine their scenarios work could also be used to flush people out of bushes and hiding behind structures, but other than that, it’s pretty worthless.

I really like what they've added, but I wish they had vaulted the jetpack instead of the claws. It makes the new items almost irrelevant, which is kind of a bummer since they're more balanced and fun to use imo

Two small updates, if you haven't already seen this: You can get a blue wood stake shotgun by eliminating some NPCs, and the broom is in Reload, but it has limited use charges, like the grapple gun does.

The chainsaw seemed difficult to find, but there are two NPCs who sell it, and it often spawns out of blue chests inside the weapons vaults.

the chainsaw's rush attack also lets you slide up previously untraversable terrian, such as steep mountains, its kinda busted in a way

You can also eliminate the Dark Ruby npc in Rebel’s Roost for a woodstake, but it’s only Blue Rarity.

This is a great Fortnitemares. I love the spooky Halloween decorations in the houses. It feels like half the map got a makeover without changing, like the POIs are just celebrating Halloween. I love it. If they ditched all the Marvel stuff I think it would be better. But it's good enough. Better than the last 2 Fortnitemares. So I can't complain.

Jetpack + pumpkin launcher is a pretty fun combo. Unfortunately, as far as I know there aren't rockets in the game.... only when you win or buy a launcher. Just two of them

I am enjoying the nightmares event, the new POI’s look amazing and I think Epic did a good job with the new weapons. The problem is deciding which ones to take. With the quantity of regular and marvel weapons for such a limited number of slots I am finding it hard to include the new ones!

The Decay dribbler will not work. You can pick it but when game start but as soon as the game start you are in one of your other skin.

If only the jetpack was vaulted. Then this season would be actually good. All these new items mean nothing to the jetpack. It is easily the most annoying and brainless mobility ever and it makes this season terrible.

This is my first fortnitemares and it's pretty cool.. Only issue for me is all this fog.. I know it's for the event, but being heavily colorblind, I have trouble seeing things in some areas... Besides that it's pretty cool.. Thanks for the video Jake....

I'm ngl I was so hyped for this as it's my first Fortnitemares and the content looks so fun, but the existence of the Marvel weapons continues to make me not want to play at all. Would've easily swapped the vaulting of the claws around for the Jetpack instead.

I can tell you what my least favourite aspect of the update was, i accepted the Saw challenge thinking it was a normal bounty and was for a quest, i fly around looking all over for this guy and he is nowhere to be seen. I eventually give up on the bounty and find a car to drive to zone when out of nowhere, i spontainiously combust in the middle of the road because i didnt complete the challenge. L Update sad😢 terrible fortnitemares uninstalling the game screw u fortnite. Use code Evolvejake in the item shop❤

They warn you about it though, before accepting the challenge. I was curious but decided not to ‘cause I figured it would be hard to complete.
