That would be pretty awesome! However, the landing site for Perseverance is rather far away from where Curiosity is right now. Filming a mission during landing would likely require having a plan to land near an active rover. It'd be cool to do that, but it doesn't seem very likely to happen any time soon.
I also would love to become an astronaut! While I haven't been lucky enough to travel to space yet, there are lots of ways to prepare yourself for becoming an astronaut. First and foremost, you should read about the history of spaceflight and human space programs. Learn all you can about people who have gone to space, organizations that send people to space, and what the job of an astronaut entails. Also, while many people in the past who have become astronauts have had military careers, this is slowly changing. One thing for sure is that professional astronauts are often well versed in science, engineering, and medicine, and many of them have advanced degrees in these realms. You'll notice that lots of astronauts are also explorers and SCUBA divers and pilots and are physically fit. These skills are important for future astronauts, but I also think that future astronauts will need be well versed in meditation, writing, creative arts, public speaking, and other areas that allow them to be great communicators and thoughtful humans. So these are just a few ideas from me, but if you'd like to learn more you can also check out talks from former astronauts on how they got to go to space.
