Is there any way to tell what kind of twin you are as an adult? My mother had in-vitro fertilization treatment in 1998, 3 embryos inserted. That resulted in my sister and I being born. The doctor said we had a fused placenta and were most likely identical but we don’t really look alike at all. Thoughts? Also, due to the fact that we were conceived through IVF, neither of us have a heightened likelihood of having twins in the future correct? *fun fact: my twin sister and I each just had our first babies 2 weeks apart in March this year!*
