@@ph8808 Not really though. Sure, a team might get an easier round 1 match, but that kind of advantage fades quickly as the pools that teams can be matched against split up and shrink more and more. I think having it move to 4 wins to qualify is excessive.
Thanks for the short Worlds meta read at the end of the video, Sally. Stuff like that is really helpful in understanding pick/bans and makes the draft phase so much more enjoyable to watch. It’d be nice if you did a longer video on your meta predictions before Worlds and even during Worlds. Thanks again for the great video. I’m so ready for Worlds 😫
@@unidentifiedmale117 if you haven’t seen it, there’s a video on Caedrel Clips where he goes over the worlds patch! it’s from last week i think :) Edit: and i just saw he uploaded a video on the worlds meta yesterday on Caedrel Clips :)
Erm akshally, last year there was a super fun matchup in JDG vs BDS where ruler played against adam garen so that was cool and the game was close until it wasnt
A minor correction: This is Fnatic's 12th appearance at Worlds, not 11th. And is the Organization with the most appearance, only missing 2 in 14 Worlds that have occured.
Only there as a filler team, except for 2018, that may do upsets and having at some point a player called Upset that made them upset. PS: Season 1 doesn't count.
@@vigil3429 LOL you need to have two exceptions to make your point sounds valid. Also, if a "filler" team is to make top 16 almost every year and occasionally top 8 and top 4 I guess many teams want to be that "filler".
This video's editing is and pacing is extremly well done. I'll assume you didn't do this on all your own? Working with some contact from your days casting LEC maybe?
@@AnaGuerra03 my fav teams are T1 and DK (it seems i have a thing for degeneracy haha i almost get heart attacks from their games XD) i also like G2 a lot, i‘m european so i‘ll cheer for the two other european teams as well ^^
@@bassyey huh? neither T1 nor DK won the LCK, they‘re literally 3rd and 4th. Their performance this season was super rocky, I honestly thought T1 wouldn’t even make worlds. Whenever I saw a T1 or DK game in summer I didn’t know if they’d win or lose. Like T1 lost against Nongshim and FearX. And I don’t like teams just if they‘re good. If that were the case I would be a GenG and BLG fan, right? I support these teams because I like the players ^^ and I‘ll support them if they‘re 1st or 10th place. Hope you understand my point of view now :)
Seriously, watching LCK games live from NA is a nightmare (or a lack thereof). I would rather sneak watch during work or school than ruin my sleep schedule.
Goddamn, this is a nice video. It's quite nice and refreshing to see some content with a serious tone next to the degeneracy of the streams. Both are very awesome. This is some corporate presentation-ready quality as well. :)
Incredible. The video I didn't know I needed. You're bang on with the audience brining a lot of people who don't pay attention to much throughout the year. This breakdown on patch, format and players/teams was concise and thorough. Well done. I'll be looking towards you for video breakdowns like this as the worlds are played. It's easy to watch a video highlight or fast=forward through a game myself but the 'hype' commentary and random tangents they go on from announcers sucks 90+% of the time. I would, however, enjoy more concise and thorough breakdowns of drafts - hypothesising their strategies, the whys and why nots, and finally summarising their strengths and weaknesses against their opponents comps (vice versa) with what they actually locked in.
Thank you for the great Worlds breakdown ratking! I started watching all of the regional content this year through you, after watching your Worlds streams last year! Your commentary has been super helpful for new players like me to understand and enjoy the games! I'm so excited for this year's Worlds! xdd
Real nice video to have as a quick overview, even for people who were more/less following the scene. I appreciate the take on potential new meta and picks to watch a lot. Thank you kuh
T1 coming in as 4th Seed with a 5th Game win would be a great story in this worlds like DRX in 2022. They just need to hope for LPL to knock out the other LCK teams to advance
literally the only shit I needed to watch to get back into the worlds hype after a year of staying out of it all. props man I’ll watch all the others too
Thank you for the breakdown! Very excited about the Worlds format this year from top to bottom. The changes seem like they will make things way more interesting as a whole, in particular the rematch prevention for Groups.
The meta summary is so concise and well put. In fact, the whole video is concise and well phrased. Thanks for this! I've been keeping up with some stuff but not everything.
I still don't know all the ins and outs of LoL but I enjoy watching the matches. Videos like this have been super helpful and the graphics were really great. Thanks for the explainer!
Good video, last year I watched every worlds game with you and enjoyed every second. My viewership of pro tends to fall off around spring or summer but worlds always brings me back :)
Fantastic video. Truly appreciate all of the amazing graphics and illustrations. It really does show increase the quality of the video by an insane amount! Thanks from NA!
This video is like a cheat sheet for Worlds! Super pumped to see how it all unfolds 🤩 The hype is real this year! Also, the format breakdown was super clear, thanks for that, Caedrel! 🎮✨
