Yeah I’d say Gunther is a very plausible choice. Breakker could be just a tad bit too early imo

Gunther is the inevitable feud for Cody everyone has been clamouring for since their first Royal Rumble encounter. But I’d save it after the Bloodline saga is (hopefully) done by Mania 41 because Gunther/Imperium can be a completely different storyline seperate from all that family drama going into another Wrestlemania.

Cody vs rock will easily be bigger than every storyline you just named lol cody carried the build up to part 2 roman was barely there foe the entire second part cody and rock carried th3 second part

Also the champ doesn’t have to carry anything for a rematch because he already won (wm39) and he already is the champ, he also already main evented the most wrestlemanias of all time so what is there to prove for Roman? How did Cody carry the buildup? What did he do other than get beat up and disrespected?

@@pimmyjair6396Whatever Roman does will be the biggest storyline. Period. Cody is just not that guy. That being said, Cody vs the Rock would be a great rivalry for him. All that aside, I also don’t see what else Cody has to do. That’s been the whole problem with his story is that it ends once he has the belt. Now what? He’s been a bleeding heart babyface this whole time and he’s made few enemies. The Judgement Day aren’t even a problem for him since they’re on Raw now. Randy suddenly turning on him wouldn’t make much sense right now either. So who’s left? And Cody did NOT carry that storyline. Roman and the Rock did. The Rock especially made that storyline better even if he almost ruined it by trying to take the main event. As of now, CM Punk vs Drew is a more interesting storyline to watch. Hell, even Damian Priest is more compelling to watch. I just don’t have much of a reason to care about what Cody is doing right now. He’s great for the kids though.
