Hello Kindness, I am a Lithuanian fan of your videos. Your attitude and personality are so very lovely! Thank you for learning our difficult language, Lithuania is very lucky and happy to have you! :)
Very accurate evaluation. food spending i also spend around 70-100 per month. rent yeah 200 bigger cities but can get even for 100-150 in smaller cities.
Most people who try to immigrate to Lithuania, usually leave for other EU countries once they experience the freezing 🥶 temperatures, short summers and short daylight during the long winters ❄️ . Snowing in the month of May. I love living in Lithuania, but I am used to the cold Windy City of Chicago.
All the reasons you mentioned are nothing compared to when you get discriminated or hear racial insults or behavior from them. I will bear -70 temperature with a friendly welcoming people.
I’m really sorry about the racism you experience and all the ignorant people, but I’m very happy to see more people from different cultures and races coming to Lithuania!!
Hi, I have been to Lithuania, Vilnius, Kaunus are amazing, but I love the countryside. Especially all the lakes in Lithuania. Just wondering, I know a lot of expats (like from USA, UK, ) go to the cities, but how do you think western expats would fit in like in the beautiful countryside? Would they feel welcome? Just to add to the fun I know Lithuania is a deeply religious Catholic country, I'm Jewish. Aciu!
@@come_explore_with_me_IL if youre black its better to stay off the lithuanian countryside, countryside people are way more racist than people in cities
@@gudelis2171 I'm Jewish worried about antisemitism, usually where it is safe for my black brothers and sisters, it's safe for Jews (and the opposite). Problem for me is that I'm not a city person, I'm looking to retire to a country home far away from the city in a very green area near a lake. I know Lithuania has many lakes, so this is one of the places I am looking. Thank you!
Awwww. Welcome to Lithuania. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you aint completely bored in the house at the moment? I wish you an absolute best time here.
@@KindnessAniogbo Today I went outside for the first time in 10 days because I had to get my PCR test done in order to shorten the self-isolation. I was so excited I put my make up on just for the nurses LOL Hopefully my accommodation will be fine when I arrive there. Could you maybe also film a video on the topic of accommodation in Vilnius (where to find it, how much is the average price etc.)?
The price for rent is true, but the food is waaay off. unless you want to eat pasta and potatoes all month and not eat out at all, then sure 70€ hits the spot, but i personally spend more than 200€ a month and i don't really splurge on it that much.
That's also true and it all depends on your budget. If a student is not working they might have less than 100 euro to spend on food which will encompass them to make home made foods too. But I totally agree, if you are looking to eat out often then from 100 euro up should be the budget.
pasta and potatoes would be like 40 Euros, at least that's how much I spend as student. You can easily stay around 100. I'm honestly not sure what you should be eating to hit 200 per person, I never spend that much in my life and I buy quite "expensive" stuff like vegan meats, almond milk etc. that is a bit more expensive that their non vegan equavalent. If you cut snacks out and sodas you can easily save a ton.
I am a Lithuanian who grew up in England moving back there for adulthood so I'm watching videos about this topic as I am quite anxious! I think I'd like to move to Vilnius one day but at first I'd be living in Klaipėda with my parents ❤️
Well, as a Turkish national, i have never ever experienced any racism here in Lithuania. People were always kind and normal to me. (I have been living here for 10 years.) Maybe some foreigners just exaggerate what they went through? I know some African friends even consider it racism when people stare at them on the street. Well, this is overwhelmingly a white majority country, and a homogeneous one. There are no many Africans over here, and people just stare at them due to curiosity.
Everything is not racism and not everything should be considered racism. However there are experiences and proof of people who have been treated differently because of their skin colour and that's a fact. If you didn't experience racism, I don't wish you would. It's not a nice thing anyway.
@@KindnessAniogbo again perhaps you need to look in the mirror and address your own racist attitude and take steps to correct that radical racism in your own life before you accuse a whole nation. Hope you come to terms with your racism
Thank you so much kindness your information are really helpful.. I will like to take the September intake I actually work in UAE so I wish to ask if Its compulsory for me to obtain an noc from my company and add to my documents be4 going to the embassy.. Or it's optional?
Thank you for your question. Please contact any of the agents in the description and they will better inform you of all necessary documents you'll need. All the best in your application 😊
Thank you for this. For persons who can enter Lithuania for up to 90 days without a Visa, do they still need to apply for the student visa first? or can they simply apply for the Temporary residence card in Lithuania? Also, please make videos on banking, insurance and extra activities for students.
Hi Kennedy. I also Didn't have anyone Before I moved here, this should not be a problem. Recommend you Reasearch and see my other Lithuanian related videos for more information.
The student visa is only offerd to individuals. But if you have prood of funds the child and they must travel with you then you can inform the embassy about it.
Medical resdiency? Hmm. I would say first research if you can do that here as most hospitals speak Lithuanian but ofcourse they have English speaking doctors. But Reasearch this first and be free to contact any of the agents I listed in the description of this video.
Please I’m coming to study in Lithuania... presently waiting for the embassy to call me for interview. Please can you help on questions frequently asked ?
Contact one the agents I listed on my Answering your questions video and they will provide you with that information to get ready for your interview. I wish you all the best.
Hello, nice video. I just stumbled on your video and found out you studied marketing and integrated communication for your masters, please how I can I contact you? I want to apply for the same course. Thanks
Why not dude? Since they pay off for the tuition and involve to no crimes. Who you are to judge? The very reason is the Lithuania is cheaper in comparison other EU countries. Probably it is more affordable to African, in considering their financial situation. They prefer to get abroad experience and better, qualified education programs
@@TheGLD tai netiesa. Lietuviu žmones nėra rasistai. mano patirtis cia visai kitokia. kai kurie žmones yra tokie jautrūs ir viska laiko rasizmu. myliu Lietuva ♥️
@@KindnessAniogbo hey kindness! Thank you, but can you help process visa for me, can you do a work visa, we don’t have enough funds to cover for tuition fee that’s our reason for not doing the student visa, we want to come work and pay to study, so can you please?
Hello kindness, thank you for the info, Please can you make a video on small personal business a student can do other than menial jobs and white collars
I don't like it when ppl start talking about RACISM in another man's land. There is RACISM AND TRIBALISM IN AFRICA!!!!! People need to stop that type of thinking.
🙃🙃 This video was made long ago but I am sure I mentioned that racism shouldn't stop anyone from doing anything. And because racism is everywhere doesn't mean it should be disqualified when someone experiences it, in any part of the world. But racism shouldn't keep anyone from becoming the best they can be.
Thank you so much. Happy birthday to you. Hope you enjoyed your birthday. 😊😊 When are we getting video? Dont leave us oo and congratulations on your 1k subscribers 😥😥
The police report usually expires after 3 months, so I dont recommend to take it before leaving expect you plan to make application immediately for the TRP
I am coming to Vilnius after 2 months, I have started the process of work permit, will you help me, will you give me the knowledge, after coming to TRP, what can I do in the second job, I am going to pay 700 euro work salary on the job with work permit That's why I myself can update my TRP by putting a job contract and paying social tex myself?, can we be 100% citizen on TRP in Lithuania?
please sister, does KTU accept installment payment plans in the MSc program, assuming that my tuition fee is 4,916euro per year can I pay it in installment
I've began studying in Lithuania this year. Two days ago I got attacked by a complete stranger who was yelling at me before the attack, without a reason. This broke my entire willpower to study here. Began searching for different universities thus I don't feel safe. I guess Russian war made people aggresive Idk.
We don't have many blacks if really any...we are a Baltic blood ethnic country....we aren't racist so much as we are very protective over our beautiful, special Baltic blood Ethnicities of (Lithuania & Latvija) and our Baltic Fatherlands.... enjoy your visit!... be respectful to our history and culture and you will be good to visit in
Usually the study visa allows just the student to travel but you can also apply for a family Visa if you have the finances. Definitely speak to the agents for more information.
@@KindnessAniogbo Hi dear please if possible to have a good agency who recruit people in africa to work in Lithuania or the website to find job if someone live in africa who is planning to come to work in Lithuania .Thank
Sometimes one should look in the mirror and change their own racism before they blame a entire nation. Especially one that welcomes a international student to study in their homeland.
@ Kindness, thanks so much for your good work. God bless you. I learnt certificates/documents are to verified at Abuja before proceeding on visa application. Pls what are the documents? Is NIN a must? And what if there's an error on it... Thanks in anticipation of your response.
When I see somebody, who is black in Lithuania I do make some assumptions. If the guy is really tall, he is a professional basketball player. Otherwise, they are either foreign students or former foreign students. I don't think these assumptions are wrong for the most part.
