Worth noting that once we get more party members later you'll be able to swap them out mid battle without losing a turn, so you have access to everyone instead of feeling locked to who you've been using.
I was definitely impressed by the demo. The characters and story all look great along with world design and overall art direction. The combat is good and I like the inclusion of “real time” blocking and extra attacks, as well as multi hit, adding more depth. Like most people have said I’m hoping for a fairly meaty experience, a nice 30-40 hour experience without too much grinding
This game looks so good. Having fallen in love with Octopath Traveler 2, i'm excited to give a similar game a go. shame there's no voice acting, but I'll try not to compare the two.
Honestly I have no clue. The demo itself was rather short with just that one dungeon primarily but I’m hoping it’ll be pretty extensive with 6 party members
They've been really cagey about this question, the most concrete answer I've seen is that there's plenty to do, but the game is paced so you always have a goal and won't get bored.
Honestly I struggled with it too and I probably wouldn’t have been able to beat it without prepping and having my food bag full before battling the boss. I had a couple of my team members feint and get back up after a few turns a few times
I played through the demo. It wasn't that memorable if I'm honest. The thing that lets it down is the music. I actually turned it down after finding it slightly annoying. You should never want to do that with this style of game. The music should be glorious, like Final Fantasy 7, Phantasy Star 1,2,4. I know I'm asking a lot, but it's 50% of the experience.
That’s a valid point and completely understandable. The sound has a huge impact on the overall experience and tho I enjoyed it personally I see where you’re coming from.
Thanks for the video! It's worth mentioning that this music is from Stardew Valley, not Sea of Stars. ConcernedApe is really cool for not copystriking us when we use his music, so please give him credit in the description when you can.
I really appreciate you saying that. I’m unsure how to credit ConcernedApe in the description other then by saying music by: “___”. If you know the direct input I’ll surely add it like I did with Square Enix in my previous video but again thank you for the feedback dude!
