Also they searched my backpack for weapons, they found none….just a bunch of water bottles which are permitted. Those food prices seem reasonable. I forgot that they had a buffet but we were short on time. We did grab some fudge to go which was pretty good, but not as good as fresh fudge from Uranus 😋
I love KY, lots to do. Just note this is at the very top of KY. Very near the Ohio line. I like Bowling Green, there is Mammoth Cave and petting zoo, Chaney’s Dairy Bar, Heritage Park Aviation center (free), and the Corvette Museum. Also Rafferty’s restaurant has fantastic service. And around an hour from Nashville, TN. There is a bunch of Distillery’s down there if that is your thing.
The Ark Encounter is on my wife's "bucket list" (and no, she's not dying - lol!), so we've been looking into going in the next year or so. This video was VERY helpful and enjoyable - thank you!!! I'm used to watching (and always enjoying!) your monthly "what you SHOULD be buying at..." videos, but this was a great addition to your repertoire.
Why did I hear 120 bucks for two adults. But wait. Parking and 28 extra fees. Sounds like a high price for ability to pay extra or get crappy extras like I do for prime now with comercials
One thing to make very clear is the importance of bringing everything you could need before boarding the shuttle bus. If I recall correctly returning to your car and re-entering the Ark is not permissible. I remember reading one negative review where a woman forgot her father’s medication and it turned into quite an ordeal. It’s important to note that you park like 1-2 miles from the Ark and only travel via tour bus.
We went last July for my wife's birthday (both creation Museum and Ark) we have been several times to Creation Museum but it was our first to the Ark... Definitely plan on going again and spend maybe 2 days to check out the whole complex! We loved going and it amazes me the details of everything! God Is so good!
It's odd that they didn't build it using only technology that would have been available back in the time of Noah. The huge steel plate fasteners and large steel bolts kind of cheapen it IMO.
I went about a year and a half ago. We went to the creation museum on the first day and to the ark the next day. Both were fantastic but I think I enjoyed the creation museum a little bit more.
My wife just went to the ark encounter with a group of ladies this weekend (Friday). She said there was a tornado warning so they took shelter...I kid you not...in the Ark 😂😂😂. A rainbow appeared immediately afterwards and she was able to take pictures and send them to me. The pictures were so perfect with the Ark in the foreground and rainbow in the back.
