In this video lesson, I show you how to play the rumba rhythm pattern you hear in almost every Gipsy Kings song. This rumba is easy to play if you follow the 3 steps I outline in this video. I discuss how you should strum a rumba in general, how to count it, what fingers we can use, I show you 2 ways to slap or create a percussive effect, and give you the chord progression to the song "Pharaon" so that you can practice this rumba pattern with the Gipsy Kings. I also show you other pop songs that can easily be played using this same rhythm.
