This is my christmas song.

Top tip - play this over the Instrumentality sequence in End of Eva. Start it at the same time Komm Susser Todd starts. You will see that it very much a sister piece to KST.

Evangelion is really one of the greatest anime. I am not very into anime, but Eva was the first anime I watched completely.The music, characters, story really made the show resonate with me. The show ending, and End of Evangelion ending are polar opposites in terms of how they end. But there is an important life lesson in both of them which I will forever hold with me.

I wish I could find live performances of Arianne, her voice is just beautiful.

I get the feeling that a lot of the people who see themselves in this song.. they want to love and be loved, but are turned away, because the other person isn't happy with them (for whatever reason). I think this song is about killing the one you love ... I came to that conclusion when it mentions "Did you think you would find revenge so sweet" "making it so your hearts will never beat" "squeezing every last and dying breath from everything you have ever dreamed" I think he stangles the girl (Like Shinji did to Asuka), because "everything [he] has ever dreamed" is referring to her. So he takes her last breath away. Does anyone think the same?

I’d listen to this song on a cold night, watching the Aurora Borealis, whilst reminiscing of a relationship I don’t even have.. lol

Unfortunately it seems this song will never see the light of day there was a small amount of hope that it could be used in 3.0+1.0 but nope. I guess it makes sense thematically regardless I wish they really tried to push it in.

I thought it would be this video since it's in my bookmarks but it seems that the video was changed? Does anyone have any idea?
