If I could go back in time I'd tell myself to "skip" this one. Community takes things too personal like a Second Life gamer would. Too many gremlins, devs sold out, etc.

Thank you for all your advice and help for new players. The guides on getting started, weapons, gathering, making silver, and fame farming have really helped me enjoy getting started with Albion. There is so much in the game to learn to have a positive experience and the tutorial just gives you a sliver of information on controls and mechanics while leaving plenty for the player to have to go research to learn. I'm still in my first month but your videos have really helped me get going

One of the best things i like is actually it's not p2w at all well the things you said is pay to progress wich is in almost every game and thats the most thing i like even getting a premium for free is amazing while in most of games you should even directly buy
I have 3 t8 gatherer trees - skinning, ores and fiber. I did it something about 3 months maybe. I just went to t3 blue zones and gathered all t3 resources while watching movies. Lol, I watched entire "Vikings" and "The Big Bang Theory" while playing Albion. Of course I used learning points when I hit that 20% progress, so some days were spent without this t3 grind because I need to gain enough learning points to take a new tier. So I think t3 is the most valuable resource to grind gathering - it gives a little bit of fame, but it is so quickly to gather and there are so many t3 resources around. Just take an oxe, gatherer set with your max tier and a lot of t7 pies and grind until your oxe is 100% full then sell resources in the city, maybe refine them if you want and repeat.
The first month i get back to albion I only didi key dailys, them get a 30 day premium get all rewards from two months, during the premium time I created 2 more characters and did the key dailys with both, and farmed to get 3 premiuns with my main character, so I get 2 months rewards with both new character, I did that in the two most profitable months to do it. Now I have 1m passive income per day more or less, all of this came from SwoleBenji tips, thx dude.

Hey Benji - love your videos and tips. You always say you're open to suggestions. My only suggestion would be to stop bragging about your stats/money. Don't get me wrong, I don't "hate" you - I'm a new player. But I have noticed in most of your videos that when you start talking about items and pricing, you always have to say how much YOU could buy or have or whatever or you may start showing off your gear and islands, etc. Again - no hate. Just a suggestion. :) Keep the great vids coming. They're really helping me out.

Yep. Zero risk blue and yellow zone activities. It's far more efficient and easier to do for long periods due to not losing gear and being able (for me) to zone out and watch anime while mindlessly grinding. Where as black zones require full focus and you're guaranteed to die eventually and lose tons of time and silver.
The largest demographic is Asia and yet the genius devs have decided to make the servers exclusively North American even though it's cheaper to run servers in Asia. I have never seen such a big brain moment in my life.

I quit the game cuz my internet is just so annoying, when i want to do a pvp there is a ping difference between me and the opponent, which is so unfair
so, ive played a bit albion in 2017-8, and left, since then ive played runescape :D got very far over 4k hours played. to the point i got bored, so i thought to return. ty for this vid watched the whole thing
The zone you can stand spending the most time farming in with the least amount of loss. For me that's tier 5 zones. For others with guilds that's tier 8 zones. For people who hack, the avalonian roads.
Thanks! I wish I had watched this 3 days ago before I dove into the game. That answered most of my questions, but I still have a few; if you do get to this comment, since this video is over 2 months old. 1. I bought the Morgana Hell Mare (or whatever it's name is) skin for Riding Horse off the Marketplace for 1,800 silver today. I "used" it, but when I checked to see if all was good, it said "Purchase: 5,000 Gold". This issue is actually why I found my way here. Do I need to use 5,000 Gold to purchase something I already technically own? Or is something else going on here? Also bear in mind that I didn't buy the T5 Riding Horse yet, because too much went on with this skin. I don't know if the "Purchase:5,000 Gold popped up because I don't own the horse yet... 2. The horse skin in question is a T4 skin. Does it work on T5 Riding Horse? Or should I just pretend I didn't buy the skin, and don't bother buying the horse? 3. Shops: Maybe you already did a video about this issue, but I have scoured RU-vid and google (with my 10% vision) but I still cannot find an answer to this problem. I'm a big PvP/PK lover in every game I've played over the years, but I'm just coming back from Vision Loss Rehab after 3 years, so no more PvP and PK for me unfortunately. So for me going lifestyle and PvE is currently a good option. But why in god's name can't I find a single shop that's T4 and above to use? They all have this "Usage Rights: Custom", and the meld/refine/use options are all greyed out, or cost 10k silver per use for the ones that aren't "Usage Rights: Custom"... How can I go around this? I literally can't craft or refine anything above T3 Journeyman. 4. Islands: You mentioned something about islands in the video. Should I buy one? Is it worthwhile for a 3 day noob to buy an island? Would it solve my issue number 3? 4. There are more, but those are off the top of my head at the moment. 5. Thanks again for the long video explaining stuff. I really wish I had watched it earlier. I don't know anything about skins since they can be disabled outside safe zones so I never really use them (On purpose). I just sell them. If you used a skin it should just be added to your skin list though, a popup is just a cash-grab attempt the game started doing after it sold out to Stillfront. If its a horse skin it should apply to all non-armored horses unless it specifies it's for armored horses. You gotta level your refining and crafting till you can do higher level materials, but the entire town being on lockdown is unusual. I know it happens on specific days if there's a crafting bonus. Can't really be helped if all the stall owners set it the way they do. Guild islands can have laborers which are a long-term investment with a decent up-front cost that take a month or so to break even on but everything after is profit. Personal islands can have both laborers and farm land so they're always worth it once you get 30 days premium.
The Morgana Mare skin you bought is a seperate skin from the 5000 gold skin in Shop, they do look a bit similar so i can see why you got confused. The Morgana mare is a very common skin drop from Morgana dungeons thus its low price, and it is a skin for The Armored Horses, not regular horses.

Why do people make new accounts for other professions/skills? I heard it levls faster or something like that. But how and why does it do so? There must be something I dont undertstand. 2. Repaircosts are not cheap. Is there any other way to repair stuff then investing the money at the repairstation? When I needed to repair my first two gathering sets I just build new ones. Now my whole gear is damaged down to 50% and I hate it to invest the money. 3. I died a few times trying a dungeon to hard for me. I guess this damages the equip most. Can u tell what damge is done by what actions?
I am returning to Albion, and I have a character that is not very leveled. I have fishing at T7, some gathering at T5, Caerleon island at level 5, and Lymhurst island at level 2. I play for around 1 hour per day, and I'm okay with that; I don’t want to be a hardcore player. However, I would like to farm premium every month and have some silver for fun activities. What do you suggest for me to do with this limited playtime? Currently, I am growing oxen, but at a slow pace, and also fishing in mists from yellow zones because I have it at T7. Do you think it is a good plan?
Swole is it still worth to be bow crafter I’m 500/700 at crafting bows I remeber I could make 1 mil a day with focus I’m wondering to return and complete for achievement And be best bow crafter :)
Question. I’m new and would like red zones. I was ready if I’m not flagged for pvp in red zones someone that is flagged can still kill me but doing so that person loses rep. Do I still loose gear? Unsure if that was mentioned in red zones or not. Is that true? If so I don’t think I’ll ever make it out of yellow.
Yes if you are killed by a player in a red zone you drop everything you're equipped with and what you're carrying. The rep they lose for killing you can be regained by killing open world mobs very quickly.

That's for hardcore expeditions. End game stuff requiring 8.4 and max specs. If you try to form a group for red or black zone stuff they just leave party mid way through and kill you.
It used to be full loot, but not anymore. If you're downed in a yellow zone while faction flagged you'll appear at the closest faction outpost, and if there isn't one, you'll appear at the closest exit to the zone un-faction flagged.
