my resolutions for this year include developing a better relationship w money, finding community among people outside of family, continue cooking and learning new skills that I want to. also my resolution for last year was to move, which I did not do, and I am not sure if I am upset about or not- there would've been some perks to me leaving but there also have been perks to staying too

My New Years resolution for 2022 is to be intentionally kind to everyone I come across. Even if it’s just flashing a smile someone’s way.

i paused the video at 11mins bc i just wanted to comment that i’ve watched your videos for two years now, and a little over a year ago i struggled to keep my hair a very pastel baby pink because everything i used always faded back to blonde. LOL when i saw you struggle to get the iro iro pink out of your hair i was like “I NEED THAT NOW” and around the time i was going to order it online, i went to sally’s for bleach, and they carry iro iro now 😭. I even had a friend gift me a pink conditioner to keep up with pink hair before i could easily access iro iro. i would’ve never even known or tried iro iro if it weren’t for your videos. i always used ion, that was my ride or dye hah. i was a creature of habit. my hair is always pink now and i’m so happy about it lmao. i just thought it was funny because i’ve been dying my hair fun colors since i was in middle school and now all i want is pink hair, i’ve accepted my favorite color is pink and i want everything in my life to be pink.

i have this experience with iroiro neon blue,... it stayed in my hair for six month and it still was showing so i went over with purple :D but i really love iroiro

A resolution that has been reasonable to keep up with for me is try cooking 52 new recipes a year. So 1 per week which allows you time for your normal recipes and still experiment. 2020 I didn’t track super well but I estimated we did about 45 (not bad considering the state of the grocery stores) new recipes. 2021 I did 59 to make up for 2020s not quite making it to the goal. I’ve found some duds, a bunch of meh’s, a recipe that was so terrible I gave myself food poisoning (my instincts warned me & I didn’t listen…) but I’ve found some new favorites and some nice additions to spice things up. I’ve decided pioneer woman recipes are not for me, taste of home recipes are hit or miss, and I probably need to up my goal because the pile of new recipes to try is growing instead of shrinking lol.

I know I'm 10 days late to the party but I will never forget watching you put demi permanent black in for the split dye. I cried for you while I put demi in my hair. I mean I had been using a semi permanent black for like 6 months and it took 12 weeks to get it out all the way. Rip, but thanks for giving me something to watch while I dyed my hair too! I always turn on your videos when I'm looking to do something with my hair. And your recommendations for iroiro have saved my life. The neon blue shade is fading beautifully rn and I'm super excited to get rid of it in a week or two and try the silver/rainbow hair you did but with this new pulp riot shade that looks purple and blue at the same time.
