Just a reminder: This mod is not meant to make fun of dementia, EATEOT, or similar. It simply wants to cover the topic on a popular medium. If you can't understand that and still think this mod is horrible for making fun of it, you're missing the point.

@HEARTSTATIONS oh, that makes complete since. Dementia is a very sensitive topic, and you shouldn't use it in lose matters. This is not the mod to be shiping and having jokes about. I don't think this mod was made with the intent to be malicious towards dementia or EATEOT, but its NOT the mod the be shipping and making good endings about dementia. Its like if you took a story about a person with deep depression, then some fan came along and said "Good ending: its better and they are all better and everything is happy kittens and rainbows"

Since it appears that for some reason the warning in the beginning has been replaced, I will just say this: This mod is based off Everywhere at the End of Time which deals with a very real and very serious mental illness known as Dementia (an illness which involves memory loss through a 6 stage process which ends with the patient dying) this isn't something to joke about

Yeah, he got everything right. Except for the fact that there are only 7. Fun fact: there is something called “terminal lucidity” it usually happens hours before death, sometimes even before that point. I’m not sure that scientists know why..

24:08 Oh damn, the took a bit of mental gymnastics and a flipping of my phone, but that spells out "please come back bf!"... That's even more heartbreaking considering all of the other stuff like the heart rate monitor beeping in the very next song, how everyone's voice sounds concerned or sad. I felt glimmers of hope whenever bf properly finished a section of a song, but, his memory would always fade back out before a song could be finished properly... Another thing I noticed is, mommy mearest seems to jog his memory the most, which is something that gets me the most because she actually sounds the most hurt by this illness, she legit sounds like she's having a hard time keeping her composure, and I think that dd had to come into the room to console his grieving wife (week 6)

According to my google search results, it’s very rare for people between the ages of 19 and 40 to get dementia, which means it’s not impossible for BF to get it, since he is canonically 19. But man… poor BF… in this mod, he lives such a short life…

No stage 7 is just basically stage 6 like in the album, but the album didn’t include stage 1 because the actual stage 1 of dementia doesn’t effect your memories until stage 2, where the album first starts at.

There are seven stages of dementia, the six stages you see in EATEOT start from stage 2 (Stage 1 is stage 2 irl, Stage 2 is stage 3 etc.)

The saddest part about this is that it's literally impossible to have a good ending as bf dies no matter what anyways. Unless since DD , MM , or GF are all demons they could somehow in some unholy way cure it bit I doubt it.

This mod legit made me feel depressed. I actually didn't know you could die from alzheimer's or dementia until I first saw this mod and did some research on it. The mod is amazing and I think captures the "vibe" to each stage very well! Amazing job 👍🏽

There comes a point when your brain is so deteriorated that the basic body functions necessary for life simply stop working. Either that, or fever. Or starvation. People with alzheimer/dementia can barely eat at the last stage. It's just a matter of what will kill them, the when is already settled.

Actually, from what I can recall, it's pretty accurate. The patient can often go through a moment of final clarity before death - interestingly and sadly, forgetting music like BF is is often a sign the patient will die soon. Plus, it's not exactly like this stuff is cured, so he was going to end up dead by the end of this either way. Take everything other than the 100% fatality rate with a grain of salt, though - my memory isn't the best, even if it's extremely obviously not as bad as in this.

@Oisintheblue Extras the term is called "Terminal Lucidity" its a phenomenon that occurs during the very late stages of Dementia in which a person regains clarity hours or day before they pass away from the disease. Scientists don't know what causes this phenomenon, nor do they know why it occurs.

@@WindowsGod2 It's also not common, and when it DOES happen, it can sometimes last a rather long time. Longest noted is 7 months apparently. There was a supposed case where the lucidity last 3 years but no evidence supports this.

You did an amazing portrayal of a very sensitive but very real topic, its bittersweet it finally have a conclusion to this mod, one that is so powerful and too real. Here's something I noticed at the end that honestly made me cry a little: in the last song ( 49:53 ) you can hear him call out "Pico? Help me Pico!" I think he used to date Pico but I think it's interesting and depressing that he doesn't call out for his gf, but for his ex-bf. Also at the end it sounds like he says he says "bye, bye.... die" before having screaming and dieing. Never thought the funny beep bop game would make my cry but here we are.

i had a very specific story in mind while watching this and therefore it's time to ramble. TUTORIAL: It's a normal day- or at least, as normal as it can get for someone with Dementia. He hears a melody on the radio one day, and decides to sing along to it- something he hadn't done in a while. STAGE 1: Singing seemed to jog some vague memories. He could've sworn he saw a figure in his house, one that began to sing as well. The tune was... So familiar... He wanted to sing along, but he could barely remember the notes. He even tries lip-syncing the notes he remembered DD sing, but it simply wasn't coming together. STAGE 2: BF wanders out of his house, instincts driving him to walk towards the old, abandoned house that he met the spooky twins in. Of course, he could barely remember what they looked like anymore, but the two songs still rang in his mind, as much as the destroyed memory would let them. Meanwhile, GF arrives at BF's house to make sure he's okay when she notices he's gone. She panicks, getting her parents to help search for him. STAGE 3: Next stop on BF's wandering was the train tracks that have long since been abandoned. He doesn't even remember who he sung with here, only... A name. "Pico? Who is Pico?" He wonders as he continues trying to remember the melody. Luckily, the actual Pico (who isn't a hallucination unlike the one BF is singing with) was hanging around after catching wind of BF's disappearance from GF. He immediately messages her about his location, when suddenly BF passes out from exhaustion. STAGE 4: GF and her parents pick up the unconcious BF, and he dreams of the location where he met GF's Mom. The sounds of her hesitantly and sadly remembering the songs she sang with him leaked into his dream, and he too tried to remember the songs as he dreamt. STAGE 5: BF is returned home and placed into bed- GF staying at the house to keep an eye on him. He continued to sleep, this time dreaming of the Mall he went to on Christmas. He could swear he heard echoes of his own voice, and even visions of DD's face, but it kept fading. Luckily for him, he woke up before he fought the Monster. That old game...: Finally waking up in the middle of the night, he remembers an old video game in his attic. Hesitantly, he wanders through the house- completely disregarding GF sleeping on the couch- and goes to the attic to play for the first time in ages. The game was corrupted over not being used and the entity breaking down inside of it, but BF didn't care. Entering the game, Senpai is angry to see BF again, but had no choice to repeat the same dialogue- though corrupted. Though, as the two sang, Senpai slowly realises that something was very, very wrong with BF. He had none of his old energy, and he didn't even seem to remember the song anymore. Putting two and two together as the song ends, the AI breaks down even more as he tries to tell BF everything is okay, despite the fact that he could tell he's dying. After the next song, he transforms into the Spirit state, trying to tell BF that he'll insert him into the game as well- so if he dies, at least they'll die together in the corrupted game. BF goes into the Terminal Lucidity state, and hesitantly accepts. The two sing one final song together before Spirit finally breaks down due to the corruption. THE END: BF, remembering everything now and moments before death, sings one final tune. as you can see I thought more about one section than the other. whoops.

Ok, so the tutorial was sad and made me slightly upset, daddy dearest was... unsettling, but skid and pump almost completely disappearing when they say "YEAH!" was kinda sad, cause boyfriend is trying very hard to remember those two kids he met in a haunted house...but, he just can't get the image right, and those songs...how did they go... South is my favorite song, and hearing it like this is almost too much to beat... C'mon bf, you can't give in buddy, you got it, step after step right big guy? ...how he asks "pi...co...?" Was disheartening, and damn your a kid too...fucking great job man!

No disrespect, I really wanna see more from this mod. But a little bit of constructive criticism for the maker of these song vocals did try their hardest to make it sound like boyfriend forgor 💀 But if I were good at making vocals, I could help easily with vocal use for bf, But a little tip, imagine every song is something you forgot and tries to remember sections of, and on longer, memorable sections, you say less and less because of how bad the memory has gotten. Edit: I mean for most of the new songs like fresh, dad battle, and all of week 2, I'm on week 3 Pico, so idk what's in store soon, but it finished just now so. . . Here I go, Edit 2: another thing, could be stuttering in place of empty space to really sell that "attempting to remember" vibe this mod displays

thorns is great! u done amazingly on the music tbh! this mod is an amazing time all around! though, i dont know about the dialogue! like its as if there was actually some stuff before that! was there some secret stuff i missed? also finally vocals on burning memory! FINALLY! i have no idea why u removed daddy dearest's week! i think there was an explanation... maybe my brain didnt like so it deleted it from my memory like everything else it absolutely fucking despises! i dont know! i cant remember! also i remember there being a pico version in this mod! idk where i found it! i think in a leak or something? maybe it wasnt included because it was scrappd! anyways 7/10 it would be 9/10 but it removed most of the songs!

The daddy dearest week 1 is there after "A Burning Memory." The only songs to get removed were the songs Monster and Winter Horrorland, probably because this takes place in a future where monster is probably gone, and monster wanted to eat girlfriend who isn't there anymore.

At 44:17, you can hear a heart monitor in the background, then the notes spell out the word DEATH, at 44:34 spells out FEAR and at 44:43 a flatline can be heard as the notes spell out HELL. I-I think BF dies in this segment, in his sleep, at the hospital… This mod made me cry pretty hard..

It’s almost like you’re in this experience of true pain due to how severe dementia can be. I know not much of it but I know it’s bad and you can suffer from it badly. This mod made me feel really uncomfortable and depressed. But it’s not that I hate it for this, it’s what makes it really interesting. I am so sorry for anyone who has had any passes due to demntia itself, it’s not an good way to lose someone especially being forgotten by those who you love. But overall, this is still a very good mod and I feel bad for who attacked the person who made this, it wasn’t to mock dementia or EATEOT itself, and I understood that. You guys are deeply wonderful, thank you.

А чего интересного? Криво сделал спрайты в фотожопе, спU3дил некоторые чарты и спрайты из других модов, в том числе из оригинального EATEOF, по шаблону исказил оригинальные треки, и всё. я даже не додумался использовать сурс код движка для этого мода :/ Этот мод слишком переоценённый, или может быть это я уже такой зануда =/
