🙂 yes definitely, the super version is kinda like a 1060 4GB card, the regular 1650 is still useful if your upgrading an oem desktop and you don't want to mess around with upgrading the power supply especially if its some sort of weird motherboard with weird connectors that require ordering additional psu adapters

Whichever of these is cheaper is good value. The 8GB 5500XT will last longer since it has 8GB of VRAM allowing higher textures. On top of that if you buy it from certain retailers like amazon, you get a free game code emailed to you so you get to choose between godfall or shadowlands. So it’s a good deal if you plan on playing those games. There’s an EVGA 1660 6GB card on Newegg that’s $50 off right now coming out to $205 after tax that’s also a really good deal. One cool thing about EVGA is their step up program. If you buy from an authorized retailer you have the ability to upgrade your card to a better one after you register your card on their website. All you do is pay the difference. You have 3 months from the day of purchase to upgrade and pay the difference if you do so decide to do that. I think if you want to get the 3000 series cards coming out in the next few months it’s a good deal since you can buy this EVGA 1650 Super from their website or 1660 6GB from Newegg that’s $205 and just pay the difference to whatever card you upgrade to. TL:DR either card is fine. They both have pros and cons. Personally I would choose the EVGA and save the money to upgrade in 2-3 months using step up. But if you don’t have the money or don’t plan on upgrading soon, the 1660 that’s $205 on Newegg after tax is fine and so is the 8GB 5500XT. Cheers.

Aldy Syahputra I have msi 1 fan 1050 ti currently and its quieter than my cpu cooler. The asus fan looks even better. Also evga is one of the loudest ones, it will output 38 dba under load

I haven't got this card anymore so can't remember if it had a zero dB mode. The cooler on this card did get some flack when used on a 1660 super but at the same time it's overkiller for a 1650 super honestly I never noticed the thing when in my system. You can set a fan curve in msinafterburner app that will keep it more than quiet enough for an audio workstation 😁

After a phone convo we've landed on this Spec/dB compromise - Palit GeForce® GTX 1650 GP - NE6165001BG1-1175A Less CUDA Cores (896 vs 1280) and 1410MHz base clock down from 1530MHz but With a 0dB system as standard, and a bit cheaper than the Gigabyte and EVGA too ... Fair do's to Scan, I email'ed 'em, moaning, late last night and they were on the blower this morning ... 👍🏼

Honestly the 1650 super is lower power draw GPU that's easy to keep cool. Just get the cheapest one they all perform within 5% of each other.

If you're willing to play on ultra 1080p, in SOME games may not be enough, although it will still be playable. You'll probably be well served with this card if you want to play on 1080p and don't have money for a 1660 or higher or some from AMD with 8gb like rx5500xt or higher

Try to modify the fan speed profile with the msi afterburner program, increase a little bit the speed of the different points of the card (velocity/temp) that u will see and the temp probably will be more stable and lower -sorry for my poor capacity to explain me in english- hope that I have been able to help u
