What's so inspiring and sweet to me is that Plushenko is a figure skating legend, but wanted so very much to perform for these people that just adore him so much. He didn't have to do this. This is a tiny rink compared to the ones he was used to, but he didn't care. He loved hearing their praise and affection. They wouldn't have cared if he messed up every jump, skated like an amateur, or fell every five seconds, because they love him for him, and his impact he had on their young Yuzuru. Both skaters are so incredibly important and loved in Japan, and I think that's beautiful.

Plushenko was the first skater I ever saw and the one I admired, finally when yuzuru got in the game I could help but love him as well so seeing this is still very very touching
So many comments about Yuri on ice and I'm just sitting here not having watched the show smiling like an idiot because I'm so happy for Yuzu - that his dream came true and he's so happy here and i just love him so much.

Then at the end when Evgeni looks to Yuzuru with a big smile and then looks to other side and smiles like "Look at him, my protégé is pure Sunshine."
Yuzuru-san and Evgeni are such sweet people and so amazingly talented. They are so enjoyable to watch and root for, I don't think we'll ever stop loving them. I never cease enjoying watching past videos of these two and their many wonderful performances.

At the end when they were both skating out and started jumping, Plushenko has very strong personal aura that shadows whoever skates with him. His movement is so powerful and commanding.
