Yes, blessed. Adding more options is a great thing. With this brand, the guitars and specifically the pickups become very important to access the various sounds 👌 👍 With other brands, it's about something else. The main source of variety IS the pickup variations.
Thanks guys 👦 this was a great experience 👍 I can hear how the voltage has more power. Very impressive and interesting. I'm happy with my version and this has inspired me to get more. I can't wait to plug it in to my vintage EVH setup. It's going to open up a new sonic world 🌎 of sounds to explore 😀 I see this as buying another EVH jet fighter plane. A flying sound ready to go and experience. Owning 2 EVH jet fighters has been an intense experience 😳 😬 Having 1 more will be GREAT 👍 👌 just what the doctor ordered 😀
The Brand is supposed to go on beyond 10 years. It's structured to go on beyond a mini enterprise would. You WANT TO ACCEPT the brand image and not demand something else.
I never understood why the EVH Frankenstein (not the custom shop one) comes with a Wolfgang pickup. Surely putting one of these in would make more sense from a historical point of view. I get that the modern Basswood with Wolfgang is probably the ultimate tone that Eddie crafted but yeah, strange one. I would say in defense that the Wolfgang pickup sounds more contemporary. I did try the Frankenstein pickup and found it a handful to keep it clean, its a monster. Wolfgang pickup is much easier to keep in check.
Aaarrh no. When you apply the Vintage Set-up you don't have this problem you're having. Have a listen to my 2 evh guitars on my channel. The pristine version Frankenstein HAS the Wolfgang pickup. It's not at the same level as the Wolfgang guitar. In this case, the name IS a trademark. It's a mark for the trade. It doesn't signify numeric values. They're saying to you, this will work within our system of amplification. There's various Floyd Roses 🌹 They all get the name, Floyd Rose.
I have one in my mij 2011 charvel so cal. sounds okay with some amps, most amps it sounds pretty darn not okay with, i barely play that guitar plugged in due to that pick up
Can you elaborate? This demo doesn’t sound bad….not sure it sounds very Van Haleny but it definitely sounds HOT. Hotter than the Frankie era for sure. Maybe more of a 5150 era…but hotter I think. Not sure it belongs in Frankie.
If YOU have a problem, in 2024, you tell your doctor. In the internet world 🌎, there's NO COMPLAINING. It's always user error 🙄 The internet does educate you. The problem, in 2024, is always with the public.
@isaiahmarquez9717 No, he can't, but I can. Trademark means it's a product that will work with the EVH system. Beyond that, they're allowed to change what it's doing. To my ears, this pickup will perform differently to the past versions. Once you plug in 1 of the sets of pedals (must be all EVH) preferably the vintage set, this pickup will send a more impressive voltage ⚡️ Are you upto the knowledge level where faster voltage ⚡️ becomes something that you can use to play songs faster? To me this pickup into the amp, no pedals in the way, it's making a bigger zapp. That's a bigger cracking sound.
@@isaiahmarquez9717 You can experiment with this brand as you do with other brands but realise YOU ARE experimenting. Don't fool yourself thinking you're not experimenting. This brand gives you 2 options, EVH and Marshall non-master volume. Everything else is experimenting.
