Dental guidelines are crucial to know for your exams and also daily practice! This video should hopefully provide you with information on some of the key guidelines you need to be aware of! Hope it's useful :)
Hi Sunita, thanks for watching and I'm glad you find the video helpful! The new perio guidelines would need an entire video to explain but the guidelines I have pointed to, including the BSP flowchart, are extremely helpful. Essentially, the new guidelines look at a few factors: extent (localised, generalised etc), stage (this is the severity of the disease), grade (this is the susceptibility of the disease), current disease status (stable, unstable etc) and risk factors (smoking, diabetes). It's worth looking at the flowcharts provided by the BSP :)

Yes they are important for the clinical scenario as they may be relevant. If you would like, I am doing 1-to-1 prep sessions for the interviews here: www.examinedental.com/book
Hi Piku, thanks for watching! UK dentists pay around £9000 per year for undergraduate dentistry, so this is paid each year for 5 years. You can get a student loan and you can also get a maintenance loan which aims to cover living costs (this is dependent on your financial situation). Of course any loan needs to be paid back! :)
