Psychedelic mushrooms are truly remarkable. A few years ago, I was struggling with severe depression, mental health issues, and was diagnosed with BPD. My friend suggested I try psilocybin mushrooms, I still can't believe how much better they worked compared to traditional medicine. It was a lifesaver, it really healed me.
Can you help me out with a source? I suffer from severe anxiety and depression and have been on prescription meds, but they haven't really helped. Where can I find psilocybin mushrooms?
The problem with scientists like Andrew is that they think in a box while believing they are thinking outside the box and this is why they are not considering other questions.

that is 100% correct. it’s called the aether. nikola tesla was aware of it. that’s how he was able to conceive technology that would have shot humanity into the stratosphere.
I am a writer. There are times (blessedly frequently) when I will type, and words flow without me have to think about what I'm putting down on the page. When it finally breaks off, I'll go back and read what I wrote and it's as if I'm seeing them for the first time. I have sat laughing to the point of tears at how good what I just wrote was! I can't explain that. I'm a good writer, but sometimes something else is channeled through me and I don't know where it comes from. Bob Dylan said something similar in his later years. He was looking back at his writing and quoted the first few lines of Subterranean Blues, paused and said, "I can do a lot of things today, but I can't write like that anymore."
I have never had any mental issues throughout my life. Life is good and I have always been happy. I started taking psychedelics 2 years ago and have been consistently on them ever since. Recently I had finally experienced something I would call “the high being confirmed its existence to me”. I can only explained it as a feeling. I can feel its very existence but I can’t prove it. But I know it’s there trying to tell me something.
Was this on changa and did you become humble and scared at what you felt? Like you were forced to your knees in feeling and visually only one piece of energy. Best way i can explain it i think🤣😅
5:20 the answer to this question seems obvious to me. The brain doesn’t suddenly became capable of constructing hyper-dimensional worlds after ingesting DMT. The hyper-dimensional worlds are always there, DMT simply allows us to interface with them in a somewhat tangible and comprehensible way. That seems much more sensical than the notion that our brains consistently and reliably construct something so complex by ingesting a simple compound, especially when the DMT realm is a shared experience much like waking reality is. We don’t construct waking reality. It’s already there, we just interpret it. Not totally accurately but to the best of our ability. It’s the same case with the DMT realm, I feel. It simply exists, and DMT is just the lens that allows us to view it.
this is probably the best answer ever. other dimensions are right in front of us. heaven, hell, and everything in between. but our eyes and ears aren't calibrated to the correct frequency to interpret these other dimensions. DMT comes in and changes the frequency of which our senses operate, thereby "changing the station" and allowing our brains to very primitively construct a different new dimension.
So i have a question as someone who's never used dmt. If what you say is true than that means that anybody who takes it should see the same thing right?
@@rashadmaxwell7986 ive also never used dmt yet...... there are videos on youtube that describe similar entities that many people have experienced on their trips. i don't know if everyone will always see the same things, but if what people describe are very similar, it could be argued that the hallucinations may not actually be just our own imagination, but an actual window into some sort of universal consciousness that gets activated with specific areas of the brain that are only activated with these substances.
These “vast worlds beyond our imagination or understanding of our capacity for” is what yogis discover during long meditational streaks in the Himalayas
One thing i think this guy is missing is just how powerful our brains are beyond what we are aware of. In fact we're quite neutered mentally in this era. If you look at what high level meditators or savants are capable of you realize there's more going on than what we are utilizing.
The perfect answer to the question at 3:05 everything that you see when you’re on DMT a.k.a. soul trip you see beings, and other dimensions so yes, that is a real reality that you are experiencing, and that’s pretty much with any psychedelic very ancient, holistic, spiritual teachers.
Don't need to make it complicated. My experience with DMT is that your mind goes to the real reality where we all go once we're dead. And this life is just an experience we have as an eternal energy being. That's my personal explanation, backed by the experience of DMT
@@sitindogmas it had the desired effect then i just look at the elusian mysteries.. the rule was anyone can take it.. from king to poor.. but the rule was once, and once only.

I’m order to understand this better people should look up Quantum Emergence Theory. There’s another video where he talks about the geometric shapes that correlated with Quantum Emergence Theory.
Klee is a bit of a nut job. But it's a very interesting concept. I think Eric Weinsteins geometric Unity is more in the right path as far as projections from higher dimensions. While I think Klee is a kook some of the videos on that channel are excellent to get stoned and chill out. 😊
Quantum physics are indicating that our physical matter and structure is nothing but pure energy or light, wich again implies that our matter could just be an advanced form of virtual reality like in a game. So our bodies are maybe just avatars in some kind of intentionally limited 4d school or game to learn or experience certain things. But what is the objective? Love?Remember your real self? Find back to the source? Make this place a better one? Build the biggest tower or pyramid?
The objective of life is clearly to survive and reproduce, everybody knows that. As living organisms, our goal must be the same, and even love is a means to achieve that goal (it is derived from mammal evolution, finding a mate, taking care of babies, tribalism, etc etc.). I tend to think there are more dimensions and more complexity in our "environment" than normally perceived that psychedelics suddenly allow us to perceive. Actually, visually, a lot of that stuff you see on DMT looks like a lower-dimensional projection of higher dimensional structures, like when you project a hypercube in 2D for instance (which is why it's shifting and moving all the time)
ITS NOT THAT ITS ALL IN OTHER DIMENSIONS IT'S THE PERCEPTION OF THE HUMAN PARAMETERS, THAT KEEP YOU FROM SEEING THE GEOMETRY OF THE WORKING OF REALITY.
I accessed the Shamanic dimensions of perception, traditionally used by the Inca medicine people. These are quantum realms of consciousness. Coincidentally, I study shamanism and my ancestors originate from Peru. I accessed this without trying at all. As if I knew I was going to.
"where do you think it is?" I have this feeling. I can't rationalize and explain it, it's just a feeling. But I feel it's here. If 3d reality is in theory an infinite 3d space in every dimension, then the further we go towards more dimensions that we can't comprehend and perceive at the moment, the more connected everything is. At the highest dimension, everything is a single point and we're it.
I have a hypothesis that DMT is also responsible for our experience of waking reality. It's what makes perception possible. In the waking state the brain is "microdosing" DMT, but when the system is overloaded with it by smoking it, perception and the conscious experience of reality are magnified by a thousand.
Ive never done it. But i have experienced a few others several times. Im probably gonna get trashedfor this. But my past thoughts were that one one or two occasions i went somewhere far like space far. But now older reflecting back and hearing stories. I am thinking its more of innerspace. I think the mind is way more powerful and advanced then we know just yet. I know im feeling im getting borderline kooky now. I can feel it. Its just my best educated guess at this point. The brain, mind, spirit? when on the tiny amounts of chemical Im thinking we travel inward but at the same time travel boundless through our mind. Perhaps even visiting another plane from the brain. Maybe its quantum. Both are true at once. Thats how it really feels. So long. Thank you for anyone who got through this.
What if what makes us who we are is consciousness and your soul. Say a long time ago we had no bodys and we could exist in a world with no physical bodys made of energy. But we discovered Prehistoric humans who were just empty weak minded and primitive. We then were able to merge and take over the minds of these early humans and we live in this dimension trapped inside their brains. We get to experience life in this 3d way and we helped them evolve and not go extinct as they allowed us to take control. Just a crazy idea.
Definitely not anything I would have came up with or thought of or seen...that is what I have experienced...I have alot of respect for this window of insight to what's actual reality
You know how plant make dmt and plants live such slow lives compared to our human perception. Maybe we align with something the plants experience with all the delay of time, creating repeats of things as if it were slowing/separating the 4th dimension, time. Plants experience it much slower

What an excellent speaker who made such clarity of the subject. As an extension to the brain constructing our realities I am led to believe that when one dies and our brain ceases to function then the active energy (or soul of that person) is still able to access sight, sound, awareness etc by moving into another dimension of pure consciousness. Whereas I have never experimented with any form of hallucinatory drug I did experience another dimension after a cellulose overdose while respraying a classic car for 4 hours without proper breathing apparatus. I somehow entered a world of information, breath-taking beauty, and absolute peace. I likened it to taking perhaps LSD unintentionally and I have been curious about it ever since.
When Native American councils used to come together to try and solve a problem, they would take peyote for insight. Different people from different tribes would come to the same conclusion and get the same answers. They would all see and get shown the same thing.
DMT shows you the world behind our living reality , I’m pretty sure you only visit this dimension after you die or before you are born. Almost like a space between life and death where our souls are formed by these beings
DMT was life changing for me. After taking them for the first time 🛒🇪🇽🇴🇹🇮🇨🇵🇸🇾🇨🇭🇪🇵🇭🇦🇷🇲🇦🇨🇪🇺🇹🇮🇨🇦🇱🇸.🇨🇴🇲 I became one face of a multi-faceted experience prism, my side being my particular life experience. My awareness expanded and my social anxiety and depression was entirely gone. Truly magical! 🤯
I don’t believe the brain operates in or views more than three dimensions while on DMT. I’ve experimented with DMT several times and my understanding of my experience is that I was viewing non-euclidean geometry

Could it be that we are just experiencing what the plant/molecule/mushroom is experiencing? We are just plugging in to their reality. It's how they experience the universe. We are just passengers.
Tried this in a pitch black room and you can literally see behind the curtain of our reality as when light is reintroduced into the dark room the visuals disappear. These visuals that come from dmt slowly fade away as you lay in your pitch black room, making me reliable these visuals are always present but we cannot see them without dmt

Thanks again Danny! Hello and thanks, Andrew! 7:02 You've almost got it. But not Some where else; Every where else. We're both inside and intrinsically an inseperable aspect of a much higher mind, that 'god' thing, whatever that is. It seems to a well populated nested fractal / scalable and even invertable consciousness. Therein infinity and infinitesimal are tricks of perception and ultimately interchangable. Or something like that. So the infinite Everywhere isn't as big as we think. It is in a sense all in our head, including our head. We Dream our Self.
mathematically shouldn't there be additional dimensions but we don't see them . I felt that quantum physics and particles collapse to wave function is what your consciousness does on dmt. .

When i was on DMT (Ayahuasca) and in another dimension I came face to face with a humanoid shaped being that was not from our reality, this being was made of black dark matter and was emitting a rainbow aura, soon after some of its friends floated up to join him/her/it ...and they just looked at me with a child like curiosity. As they looked at me it felt like they were going through all the folders and files within me, kind of like when we are searching through files on a computer. i had many visions during my trip but this definitely did not feel like a vision, It felt 100% real.

But there are a few things that seem to be taken from this reality into the alternate DMT reality. I hear people talk about and see illustrations of the "jesters" people have met on DMT. And they basically look like our Halloween costume version of a medieval court jester, complete with floppy hats. Also DMT elves - an elf is a concept from early western storytelling. Surely these are very specific references to a specific times periods on earth.

Content is good but...Why the intense intros? Intros on RU-vid vids generally suck. Even worse when they sound like metal. This is coming from a metal head. The sound doesn't fit.
I've done many psychedelics throughout the course of my life and even my mushroom trips are quite out of the ordinary compared to most peoples. Mimosa hostile this root bark in Syria and rue fixed up a lot of my problems it seems. I've never smoked DMT but I've smoked a lot of concentrated salvia and my experiences with that are very similar to the trip reports of red about DMT. The experiences I've had in the places that it's taken me are very hard to explain as just being a construct of my own imagination. My experiences were so vivid and just as clear and solid state as my ordinary vision except for the fact that I was in a completely alien realm. Some of the other experiences that occur during those when I'm seeing the ever-changing geometric landscapes or alien landscapes are so strong and clear it's hard for me to understand or even believe that I'm simply capable of doing that because I've taken a drug that is altered my mental state. I'm a pragmatic guy and I believe that I do invent those things inside my head but it's just hard to imagine or understand how that it's done because I certainly can't conjure that stuff up unaided. I usually come away from those experiences feeling so blessed to have experienced them. The way an astronaut must feel when they look back at the Earth and see it from such a high vantage point. But perhaps even more profound than that.
your paragraph was fucking cool like Dostoevsky cool lmao. I definitely agree on how strange it is that our brains can formulate the incredible imagery when on psychedelics and Ive only tried acid and psilocybin, can't even imagine what dat must be like but I can't wait til the day I do
I've used DMT, LSD, psilocybin, and many other hallucinogens many times over the years. With DMT in particular, I've had experiences where I felt I was transported to other places and interacted with different entities. As intense as some of these experiences were, I'm not convinced that these were real places and real beings. As someone whose background is in neuroscience, I understand the mechanisms behind these experiences. I don't doubt that Andrew also understands these mechanisms, but he's not doing a very good job of showing it. I think that Andrew says and believes these things because he wants to believe them, and not because he's actually seen scientific evidence that suggests this could be true. This is like telling a person with schizophrenia that the voices they hear are real because they seem real to them.
There are largely two opinions regarding this topic, the inner vs outer perspectives vary in that the inner group tend to believe these experiences are deeply internal, psychological projections of data housed deeply within our subconscious. Whereas the external group tend to believe these substances act like a chemical gateway that broaden our perception to the point that extra-dimensional data becomes perceivable by the human mind. To my knowledge we lack enough information to make a concrete guess in either direction, but its amazing either way!
@mark respectfully perhaps you haven't appreciated the point Andrew is making. any claim you make about "external reality" mustn't you necessarily arrive at (even if you augment your senses with instrumentation) through a phenomenological "reality"? In this sense, aren't the schizophrenic's voices just as "real" as an neurotypical person's reality? maybe this is the essence of descartes' demon and the topic of lots of philosophical thought, where we shift the epistemology away from such narrow (albeit seemingly useful) standards as predictability and repeatability. after all, is the "moon" really there? is it there when you don't measure it? is it there when nobody measures it? is the "moon" the approximately spherical thing that orbits the earth? if that description of the "moon" isn't adequate, what description is adequate? how can you resolve such a description with the "experience" of the moon? and will any answer we give qualify as "scientific evidence" of the "realness" of the "moon"?
Exactly. What people tell themselves is wish fulfilment. When you're dead, that's it, lights out. There's no universal consciousness, no higher dimension to go to, nothing.
And what convinces you that "this" is experience is real, while "those" experiences aren't. Come on. You're splashing in the kiddy pool and calling it a tsunami.
@@nellkellino-miller7673 What are you talking about? If I understand what you're asking, the difference is that we have physical evidence of the world around us. There is no physical evidence of other dimensions or realms accessible through drugs. There are, however, changes that happen in the brain under the influence of hallucinogens that explain the subjective experience of them. If you have actual evidence that other dimensions, machine elves, or anything similar are real, show it to me. If not, don't be arrogant and pretend you know some secrets of reality that others aren't aware of.
Just ask the person nearest you what you were doing after you took a dose. Most will tell explain you just sat there and started tripping. If it was a layer of reality you'd all experience the same thing at the same time regardless. Reality is what we all share. Try not to complicate it because you were on drugs.
We share only a minuscule fraction of reality. That doesn't mean that's all there is to it. Your example is akin to asking a blind person what your experience has been while you were reading a book or asking a deaf person what you were doing while listening to music. Try not to trivialize it only because you cannot grasp it.
That's such a low resolution perspective to take away from all this. You think you look at a right angle and you assume everyone sees the same thing. If you can prove this you would win the nobel prize. But you can't because everything is hyperbolically curved towards infinity. You know.... Infinity.
better might be to put several people who don't know each other in different rooms taking the same dmt, simultaneously, but physically unable to communicate w/each other from their different rooms. Then afterwards, separately ask them their experience. See if there are any commonalities. Then do it again but ask them to all ask the same question of any 'entities', an open ended question with potentially unlimited answers, so that it'll be unlikely they'd all imagine the same answer if they are just imagining it. Afterwards compare all their answers. Point being, one could approach this more experimentally than anyone seems to be even attempting.
Actually, your brain allows you to exist in the 3d ... You aren't your brain or your human body... You are existence itself... When you do dmt or when you dream, your body isn't there, your brain isn't there, you are pure consciousness, you are everything

Agreed. Just b/c most everyone sees the same things whilst on DMT doesn’t mean it’s real! The same thing happens with most toxic molds. They release mycotoxins that cause similar or identical hallucinations even in non-related individuals. It’s where the myth of haunted houses/haunted objects come from. It’s why antiques carry the same haunting from owner to owner - not b/c the object is haunted, but it is introducing the same toxin into different homes.
Materialst based scientists , no matter how smart ,intelligent , brilliant etc. ( with maybe one or two exceptions ) continualy get stuck & suckered by using materialist logic . The brain is the channel to the mind , the mind connects or IS an aspect of infinitude & infinite possibility & potential manifestation . D.M.T. is just a facilitator to connect to a slightly higher level of mind . Tha,s my humble opinion !
Asking scientists to ‘explain’ dmt experiences is the lowest form of deluded materialism. They have nothing but a materialistic dogma through which they‘analyze’ everything. Just hear him: blabla models of reality, blabla synapses, blabla i am clueless…
The hardest thing to discount is that it feels more real and is significantly more lucid than 'normal reality' And.... The mind is able to intuitively and effortlessly perceive the experience in 4D, (where the difference between magnitude amd locality is discernible, as well as a 3D object being conceivable from a perspective beyond our own 3D experience in normal reality, something which is virtually impossible to do in the normal reality) while still being able to conceive the normal 3D aspect simultaneously.
