Its sad to see so many people automatically being shut down by so many other people that don't even give the theory a chance. I don't even see many people actually arguing with formulated ideas or sentences, they just rudely and sarcastically reject everything these people have to say when they are actually explaining themselves in a clear way. But instead of being opposed in a clear way by people who disagree, I keep seeing blatant disrespect. People saying creationists are on drugs, crazy, unscientific, and not even giving a second thought. They don't need to agree with creationists, Christianity, or even all these plausible theories. But that doesn't mean they should be behaving in this way.

The thing he said about floating forest is logical. My grandparents used to lived in the deep jungle of Borneo Island where they told us story about land thats waving when you walk on it. Then they realized its actually a big lake underneath the ground. Sadly the forest is gone now because of oil palm plantation. The lake is also dried.

I live in the middle of a HUGE fossilized oyster bed. My little back yard (about 15 ft. × 15 ft) has produced HUNDREDS of fossils. Many perfect and some paper thin, also in perfect condition. I have also found about four or five fan type oyster shells not fossilized in the same strata. The real amazing thing is my backyard is actually at a high point and there's a severe drop-off leading to a creek down below. I wish I wasn't handicapped, I would already be down in that creek bed!

It is amazing to me that it is not easier to believe there is a God who created the heavens and the earth and all the things created in the earth. People have to go through serious hoops to make the theory of evolution work. Thank you for your presentation. God bless 💛

I grew up in West Virginia and my father allowed a piece of property we owned to be strip mined. As you described, it was very flat on the top and bottom of the vein, the vein was about 6 feet thick with soap stone below and clay above. I spent hours as a teen cracking open lumps of coal to see leaves and fern fossils. the lowermost part of the coal seemed to have the most intact material. Of course I was looking for a dinosaur bone but never found that prize.

Arenchymous tissue is always associated with waterlogged plants, and often with marine submerged trees, like the mangroves. This theory is plausible and well presented.

This excellent video series provides unbiased scientific evidences for a global flood, such as: 1. Transcontinental megasequence rock layering 2. Megasequences contain graduated sediments (larger to smaller particles, bottom to top) 3 Laminate layers (very little bioturbation) 4. Little or no erosion between layers, denoting rapid layering. 5. Consistent east-to-west currents (denoting the moon holding the flood water while the earth revolves under it) 6. Sand transported across continents. 7. So a flood event that was violent enough to deposit large masses of vegetation, animals and sediments simultaneously, was also gentle enough to preserve footprints? Nah you have to explain that instead of simply asserting it quickly and moving on. You have to show how a violent event can preserve delicate details both above and below those details before you can expect anyone to buy your hypothesis.

Fantastic stuff, I've been intrigued by the floating forest hypothesis since I first encountered it (I love woods, swamps, mangroves and reefs, putting them all together is my dream biome!) Something I'd like to incorporate into my worldbuilding as an aspiring writer. One thing I'd like to point out though, dinosaurs almost certainly didn't drag their tails unlike living reptiles. It's counterproductive to their gait, size and proportions. Almost all dinosaurs had their spines aligned in a horizontal manner, so theropods were bipedal so needed them to counterbalance everything before their hips, sauropods there necks and hadrosaurs to counter balance the weight of their foreparts. Stegosaurs and ankylosaurs had clubs and thagomizers on them so dragging them would have just led to catching their weapons in the underbrush and ceratopsians had relatively small tails for the most part anyway. It's not a big deal though, scientists each have their own particular field of expertise, and geology isn't the same as biomechanics of an animals musculoskeletal structure so no worries.

The state stone of Michigan is the Petoskey Stone, 43 north and above. It is a fossilized coral.

These guys have done an excellent job in laying out Earth's history..This thesis makes an lot more sense than the incoherent tale that's told in universities and schools..indeed in days of climate change and potential for global catastrophe none of which is ever envisioned in the standard text book dogma it's time we take an serious look at the flaws in the sciences or face the potential for disaster never even knowing what hit us never mind what should we do!!

I have often wondered what lunar tides would be like without coastlines to contain them. I hypothesized a large bulge of water traveling east to west following the gravitational pull of the moon. I wonder if something like that might explain the latitudinal displacement of colonies.

I have several rocks in the f;ower bed in my front yard that are embedded with tiny sea shells ,I found these rocks at about 3000 feet above sea level on the top of the mountain beside my house.they was embedded in a red stone outcrop of rock on the tip of a mountain ridge when you look at the rock cliff ,you can tell at one time it was layers of mud .its only about 70 feet below the crest of the mountain top ,but I have found rocks laying right on the top of the ground that have seashells in them.

If you did a core sample of Spirit Lake near Mt. St. Helens, you would find a biostratigraphic column example that perfectly resembles the "evolutionary" column, which refutes the idea of evolution, as opposed to catastrophic-flood sediment, completely.

In my youth (a very long time ago) I had a passion for Geology and Paleontology. I was fasinated with your simplified geo time chart. In my non Christian mind back then, you've just covered in a few inches 4.5 billion years. I remember collecting fossils in the middle of a London woodland. I charted the area and found amazing shells, shark & ray teeth. Bones from turtles and crocks. They didn't even look fossilized. In fact I still have a lot of this collection found in London Beds. I also enjoyed a place called Lyme Regis. Sedimentary rocks of different kinds going down thousands of feet. These plains follow patterns i.e. land animals then sea creatures, then land, sea, land sea etc. And in each bedding plain you'll find completely different species. The coal tips were a great place to collect plant fossils. Mines hundreds of feet deep with tropical palms trees turned into carbon rocks. Fascinating. Today I am wiser. I certainly don't believe in evolution. I was anti Darwin in college. In the field, I saw no evidence of evolution. What I did see though is vast periods of time. Its one area I have problems with scriptually. Our Lord is everlasting. Time is not an issue for our Lord whom has no beginning or end. Humans have a tendency to fragment time. One day well understand what "forever" means.

What are your thoughts on the formation of the Kansas plains and rolling hills? Also the formation of the Flint hills where the rocks seem to be laid down in rings according to elevation. Where did the flint actually originate? How would massive flood waters be responsible for depositing massive amounts of fertile soil? Evolution scientists say a giant ocean existed in Kansas millions of years ago. But do drainage patterns actually show that? What are your thoughts?

Could the "floating forest" just be more debris from continents from before the flood? Since plants and animals both increase in order of "terrestriality". I think all you have to do is look at US southwest and you see evidence of flood.

The continents are covered with an average of 1,800 meters of sedimentary materials deposited by rapidly moving water which are heavily littered with rapidly buried creatures which are now fossils. This geologic fact provides overwhelming evidence of the Noaich Flood because uniformitariqanism cannot have produced the strata, it has been demonstrated scientifically that strata form rapidly and in groups together at the same time, making the strata above and below any given streata to be of no difference in age. Features of the strata which prove global catastrophism is the cause of the global strata are: 1. The mountains of the earth are comprised to a large extent of deformed strata, which cannot have become deformed by heat and pressure miles deep inside the earth, but were instead soft and moist when deformed 2. There is a nearly complete absence of erosion between any of the strata 3. There is a nearly complete absence of grass in the geologic column 4. There is a nearly complete absence of soil in the geologic column 5. The strata have fine and distinct boundaries between each other instead of gradating 6. The majority of strata possess grain-size distribution - a feature that is produced only by rapid sedimentation 7. Sand dunes formed under water litter the continents, verified by their approximately 15 degree angle of inclination. Sand dunes formed by wind have an approximately 25 degree angle of inclination. 8. Fossilization requires rapid burial - all strata in which there are fossils were deposited rapidly, regardless of other properties they may have. 9. Mountain Water Gaps exist globally - mountains which were still soft and moist after rapid uplift which were pulverized by a newly created stream of water (river) which ate through the mountain. Water seeks the path of least resistance and could not have eaten through the side of a mountain. It would instead flow around it. 10. Dropstones are common in mountains - large rocks and boulders which have become moved into place by very fast moving water and sealed in sedimentary strata which deform around them 11. Planation Surfaces are plentiful on the earth - broad areas, sometimes hundreds or thousands of square miles which have been planed off by massive sheets of rapidly moving water as the flood waters ebated the continents during the end stage of the Noaich Flood - uniformitarianism cannot account for massive planation surfaces. 12. Percussion Marks - impact marks ranging is size from small to huge on rocks and boulders across the earth show that extremely fast moving water (up to and beyond 100 mph) has moved rocks weighing up to tons at high speed - enough speed to cause percussion marks under water when they collide with each other. 13. Massive quantities of methane hydrates lining the continents - frozen or semi-frozen methane hydrate which is buried in sediments around the edges of the continents - produced by massive volumes of plant matter ripped from the continents and buried which has now become frozen methane gas. There is so much of it that if it could be mined efficiently, it would provide enough energy for the entire world for over a century. 14. Oil and gas reserves under high pressure - the pressure could not be present after many millions of years. The gas or oil would dissipate all pressure through fissures and microfissures in the rocks. Unless the oil and gas were produced recently, it could not be under high pressure. 15. Polystrate fossils - leaves, marine fossils, trees, worms, etc. show that the strata in which they are encased were deposited rapidly, effectively eliminating all concepts of vast geologic time. 16. Massive canyons - carved out while their strata going down to 1 mile or more deep into the earth were eroded very rapidly, effectively eliminating all concepts of vast geologic time. 17. Megasequences - There are 5 major megasequences which span the majority of North America and can be found globally: 1. Sauk Megasequence, which rests upon basement granite 2. Tippecanoe Megasequence 3. Keskaskia Megasequence 4. Arrasoka Megasequence. 5. Zuni Megasequence The Navjo Sandstone covers 400,000 sq. km in the western US. comprised of grains eroded from the Appalatian Mountains. The Coconino Sandstone formation averages 315 ft. thick and covers 518,000 sq. km in the US. and sits on the Hermit Shale. The boundary between them is extremely fine. This removes the potential for long perionds of time between the Hermit Shale and Cocconino Sandstone, and verifies both were created rapidly. The Tapeats Sandstone and Redwall Limestone of Grand Canyon can be traced across the entire United States, up into Canada, and even across the Atlantic Ocean to England. The chalk beds of England (the white cliffs of Dover) can be traced across Europe into the Middle East and are also found in the Midwest of the United States and in Western Australia. Inclined (sloping) layers within the Coconino Sandstone of Grand Canyon are testimony to 10,000 cubic miles of sand being deposited by huge water currents within days. Directional sorting is often found in the fossil record. The Miffle Permian Qixia and Maikou limestone of southeast China cover 1.2 million sq. km. 18. Giant gravel deposit sheets miles wide and dozens of feet thick (such as in western Sichuan Basin, China), sometimes up to hundreds of miles from their source location, and massive rock deposites up to miles deep 19. Numerous other facts - erosion rates, geologic young age for the earth's rocks, genetic mutation rates, and many others all discredit uniformitarianism and show the Flood of Noah is a historical geological fact.

At 14:00 I think as well, the climate sedimentary coverage, put a tremendous amount of material in the water so that small things that would be decomposers were also having trouble surviving just as larger creatures were dying. One of the impacts you and others like yourself have made on me is the contemplation of the immensity of the catastrophe of the flood. When God says he will, "blot out" He meant it.

Kurt Wise was raised in a fundamentalist Baptist family in rural Illinois and accepted flood geology as a teenager while attending a conference for Christian youth run by Bob Jones University.

So he is saying there is only evidence of one flood in the whole geological record. He needs to take of those noah tinted spectacles .

I absolutely enjoyed your informed comments. I've heard Steve Austin several times when he covered his research in this and the nautiloids covering much of the western U.S.. The fishopods may take a little thought, but it was all very interesting. I know of a fish variety or two that mimic walking for a short period, but I wouldn't think of them as being in any way transitional. If God did create such, they are original sea life, created on the fifth day. Is this what you were saying? God bless.

There is coral in the Bighorn mountains of Montana above Lodge grass massive chunks and in some places it like your walking on an oceans floor really neat stuff and on the other of Ft Smith Montana there are large blocks of salt sticking out of the clay

Could the various levels of species be caused in part by the specific gravity for any one specie . So in a flood the drown animal floats at a specific level under the water due to weight, natural buoyancy, and trapped gasses. As mud flows cover areas of floating animals they are buried relative to the levels that the various dead animals were floating.

It's not odd to not find tail tracks. Most animals have their tails lifted and suspended as a counter balance for their body weight when walking and running. However, you might expect tail drags from animals lower to the ground, such as a crocodile or a duckbill platypus. Regardless, that fact doesn't change anything.

You do realize that Noah's flood is a total myth and never actually happened? WHERE did enough water to flood the earth above its tallest mountains come from and where did it ALL disappear afterwards?

I am a little confused about the sequence of coal formation. Was this bark dropping, and the forest rolling there and back, supposed to be happening in pre-Flood days, when it was a living forest, or after the Flood, when it had been torn apart and was now a floating log mat? And if the latter, how could the log mat be over what is now the eastern U.S., Europe, and Russia? I understand from Dr. Baumgardner's model that "continental sprint" had already happened by then, driving these land masses apart.

Has a fossilization experiment ever been conducted? I’m talking getting a chicken, a really tall pipe, lots of sediment and hot water and “quick-burial”. I’d be fascinated to know if you could reverse-engineer the hydro-chemical conditions of the flood in such a manner.

So, when you say the coal forests would be the center of the floating forest, and you say that the plant life gets more and more terrestrial as you approach the land shore, then is it just at a certain point somewhere near the middle that those plants are the ones from that point, and then towards the land shore that created the coalbeds??

The Colorado river has meandered, and changed direction in many place. If a vey large body of water where to break over the river at the time of the "flood", why would this huge volume of water change direction in the same way the Colorado river has done over millions of years. Would this water not just travel more or less in a straight path, destroying the shape of the river we see today.

I have a very simple question to ask. Since te flood covered all the mountains, where all that water came from ? It seems that the water need was much more than the water actually present on Earth at that time. Where did come the extra needed to cover everything ?

The best thing to do in finding more fossils is to explore to the area where the lowest elevation on face of the earth is located. Water is driven by the force of gravity for it to flow towards the lowest point on earth first. Water never flow towards the highest elevation on earth but yet there are few areas in the world where water flows upward unworthy to be explored in finding fossils. As water during the great flood accumulated, it flows first to the lowest part of the earth then stop as soon as the highest elevation is reached making water to be in zero degree level with respect to the horizontal curvature of the earth. Dead living things will float on the water after few days being dead because of the gas that fills up the hallow space in the stomach, like a balloon floats on the air when oxygen is introduced. Having said all that therefore; dead living things will be carried away by the flow of water, deposited and buried them to the lowest part of the earth. This is the point where more fossils were buried more than anywhere else. The greatest challenge for this theory is how to find the original elevations in a particular geographical area of the earth during the time of Noah, as elevation changes when erosion takes place. I don't believe that the science of geodetic engineering existed yet during the time of the great flood. Geodetic engineering is the science that studies the measurement of the earth's surface that includes the ff: horizontal bearing angle of specific point, curvature of the earth with respect to its x-axis or horizontal axis and the declination of the North magnetic angle. There is no better place to find more fossils than within the lowest part of the earth. It is technically wrong for the fossil explorers to randomly pick a site for their studies without considering which part of the earth that has the highest and lowest elevations first. The fossils found in the midst between the lowest and highest elevations on earth are not necessarily the fossils produced by the great flood during the time of Noah. If this was true you would find extant species with the dinosaurs.

I believe that the Cambrian Explosion looks more like an extinction event than proof of an explosion of new life. The principles of entropy would lend itself to an ecosystem that does begin with a vast diversity of life that steadily reduces over time with the occational mass extinction. Is there sound evidence of a global flood in "the days of Noah" ?(Matt 24:37-39 in the Bible) Consider these details: Many frozen mammoths have been found in Siberia, in the permafrost. One such mammoth (Berezovka mammoth that was shipped back to St Petersburg, Russia, some 3,700 miles away from where it was located) was found in 1900 with "green" buttercups in it's mouth and stomach, thus indicating that it was frozen while still grazing in a warm climate. Another example of the global deluge is that over 500 fossilized giant oysters, some with a circumference of up to 11 feet [3.5 m] and weighing up to 650 pounds [300 kg], were found in Acostambo, Peru, at an elevation of 12,300 feet [3,750 m] above sea level in 2001 in the Andes mountains.(newspaper El Comercio) Paleontologist Arturo Vildozola found the oysters just a few meters from a highway that runs between the towns of Pampas and Colcabama, but nobody paid any attention to them. Thus, what was once under water became a mountain because of the global flood, whereby God buckled the mantle of the earth so that mountains rose and valleys descended, allowing land to be above the "waters".(see Ps 104:5-9) So, where did all the water come from that completely covered the earth for a period of about one year ? At Genesis 1:2, it says that "the earth was formless and desolate, and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep, and God’s active force was moving about over the surface of the waters."(Note: God's personal name is Jehovah, Isa 26:4) Before the creation of life on the earth, the earth was covered with water. Then, at Genesis 1:6-8, as the earth was being prepared for life, it says: "Then God said: “Let there be an expanse (or atmosphere) between the waters, and let there be a division between the waters and the waters.” Then God went on to make the expanse and divided the waters beneath the expanse from the waters above the expanse. And it was so. God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day." So, Jehovah God lifted the massive amount of water that covered the earth above the "expanse" or heaven, being like a thermal blanket that would make the entire earth comfortably warm year round, so that the waters would have been placed as a layer of the atmosphere as a barrier, like the the windows of a car rolled up on a sunny day, so that heat would be retained and not lost, or like a hothouse that traps the sun's heat, keeping the temperature warm even when cold outside. So, from the end of the 2nd "creative" day till 1,656 years into the 7th "creative" or Jehovah's "rest" day, the waters were suspended above the earth, or for some 36,000 years ago.(Note: each "creative" day was not 24 hours that the churches of Christendom have taught, but were about 7,000 years long, see Heb 4:1-5, whereby the apostle Paul shows that the 7th "creative" day was still ongoing some 4,000 years after it began) Being that most of the "waters" that completely covered the earth were lifted above the earth (with the exception of those left remaining to be the Seas, Gen 1:10) to act like a warm blanket or "hot house", this kept in the warmth of the sun so that green plants grew everywhere on the earth, even in what is now called the polar regions. Fossilized pollen and spores have been recovered from seabed sediment in Antarctica that reveals that it once supported palms and near-tropical forests, showing that temperatures at the poles were not vastly different from those at the equator, and in 2019, through a microscope, University of Vermont scientist Andrew Christ looked at twigs and leaves from seabed sediment from almost a mile deep drilling in Greenland [that had been drilled by the US Army and stored in a freezer since 1966], showing that it was once covered with forests.(Note: though the "waters" were massive in amount [and are what now constitutes the oceans], the "waters" could easily be seen through because they were in a hot vaporous state) Ivan T. Temperatures plunged so rapidly at or near the poles (or within the Arctic Circle) animals became frozen almost instantly, that what was once a temperate zone where animals of all types thrived in lush forests now suddenly became frozen.(Gen 7:6)

The YEC are biggest proponents of evolution since they believe that all animal kingdom has developed from animals in the Arc and populated the whole world within thousands or even hundreds of years. Why do you need a localized floating forest to explain the fossil record? Maybe the North-Atlantic marine region did have an abundance of these now extinct ecosystems, But the pre-Flood earth could easily have incorporated the now extinct ecosystems on a more global scale. Since the Flood was a global event, it would have brought plants from all ecosystems. But you have to remember that the actual flooding of the earth was also a gradual process; it didn't happen in one moment, but over the course of 40 days. Naturally, the ecosystems closer to the shoreline would have succumbed to the rising sea level first, and then followed by increasingly terrestrial ecosystems. Another thing I'd like to point out is that the climate of pre-Flood earth would have been significantly different from what we have today. Why? Because before the Flood there was a water canopy surrounding the earth - something that we don't have now. The basis for the canopy is in Genesis 1:6-8 and in the Hebrew wording of Genesis 6:17. Notice that "the Heavens" are sandwiched between waters "beneath" and "above" it, and that it specifically was the waters _"beneath"_ the "expanse", or the "Heavens", that were collected to form seas so that dry land could appear. Also, the word "deluge" of Genesis 6:17, basically means "heavenly ocean" in Hebrew. This "heavenly ocean", or water canopy, would have created a much stronger greenhouse effect than we have now, it would have shielded the earth from cosmic radiation significantly better (causing radiocarbon dating methods for anything older than the Flood to be highly inaccurate), and it would also have housed much of the water that God used to cause a global Flood - as is also explicitly described in Gen 6:17. Some ecosystems that are now extinct might very well have required that specific climate to survive. Now, the climate is not a constant thing; it changes through cycles over the course of centuries and millennia. But the pre-Flood climate must have been so radically different from any climate extreme humans have experienced after the Flood.

I used to live about an hour from the Desert View Entrance to Grand Canyon NP I have spent over 100 nights solo hiking the backcountry of GCNP I have respectfully been to the Hopi Sipapu and The indigenous people of the area have no record of a " global flood "

Question: Pangea was mentioned at 1:04:00 and that a global flood deposited a floating forest across North America, Europe, and Western Asia. However, how does the dating of Pangea line up with the dating of the flood and with Noah? Asking for a Christian friend.

Think for one mintute of The Shoemaker Levy event and apply that to our moon and earth and also apply that one hit rocked the planet so that it tilted it's axis and set off the movement of the oceans, then add other hits and you get mass ejections of earth and you could encompass all of that into all of this body of work and instead of evolution you got survial and adaptions.

You explained how Dr. Steve Austin scuba dove down in Spirit Lake to examine the deposition of tree bark from the 1983 explosion of Mount St. Helens. My question is whether anyone has tried to dig or drill down below to find previous layers of bark depisited from the many previous ecplosions? These explosions might have occurred every three hundred years for several thousand years.
