This gives me Starkill vibes for some strange fucking reason, must be the guitar solos. Starkill has those badass thrashy fast as fuck solos that is more melo-symphonic-death in between (similar to later Children of Bodom)
Im from The netherlands absolutly love these guys, bought both of their albums straight away. their scond one is even better. more solos and more dynamics in the songs, and yet they retain their speed/trash roots.
I saw these guys live when they opened for Grand Magus, and they're fucking great. I got a black eye after the singer said "I want you guys to feed me violence". I even got to talk with the singer a little bit and he's really a nice guy with his 70's porn actor mustache.

First of all, it's great that you finally got to listen to this band. One of the new millenium's best Speed/Thrash bands in my opinion (though I really had bad luck trying to see them live until now). Then, I have to say that I don't really understand where you get that Dave Mustaine feeling from. I'm no big Megadeth fan, so I might just not know the right songs, but what I know from Dave doesn't sound anything like this. And as for a down/midtempo part, they do have songs with such parts, but honestly, it would be extremely boring if every song had one. So I think it's a good thing that this song is uptempo all the way through. And now go and finally listen to Overkill or Obituary (honestly, you'll love the videos for Obituary's "Violence" and "Ten Thousand Ways To Die" (yes, you are predictable) - you'd have to watch both together though, as they belong together).
This is their debut album, and a damn good one too! Check out their newest, even better... ;) Consistent recommending (you think I've given up??): Omnium Gatherum - "The Unknowing" damn fine melo-death!
