Playing a pure livetwin deck is kind of bad. If you cant negate your opponent turn one then you basically lose the game. But these new card will defo boost the utility of the deck. That 3300 boss mon is amazing. Sure that 4400 boss mon can work but going into a link mon that basically gets out the twins again is really strong and a free card removal. It doesnt destroy so its really nice.
It makes it even better because with the link 4 I assume we will also get those 2 waifus as cards. Fingers crossed we get more spells and traps or something
that's an overstatement, tri-zoo doesn't put up negates, it puts up a banish, a bounce and an amazing advantage. Pure zoo last format pretty much just relied on hand traps and zeus to win games and was a really strong deck. Before the elpy ban Dragon Link ended on a singular negate + 2 bounces. The game is not only negate negate negate negate, aside from hand traps deck right now aren't heavy on negates, except for drytron, speaking about meta of course.
@@iPeanutJelly seems to me like live twin is the kind of deck that wants you to play a lot of handtraps for negation. They have a 1 card combo and can draw at least once a turn, so you should be able to pack a bunch of handtraps into the deck.
It can also be the most expensive, since all of the main deck Live Twins have Collector's Rare version, and if you want a playset for all of those, oh boi...

Personalmente yo no correria nibiru, ya que si vas segundo eso te deja un monstruo en campo y por ende no puedes usar a las twins para combo ( a menos que hayas robado lilla y frost o kisikil y threat) además parallel exceed es muy bueno para dejar facil al abyss dweller o al numero 41 como para no llevarlo
I play Evil Twin Kisikil Lila for the free removal with double sunny, it's genuinely amazing against a lot of stuff. It can also punch over 4k beaters which can come up if Dragoon gets off a negate, though I guess Accesscode can also do it
I think just the ability to use Sunny from grave whenever is significant enough to run it. It just means the opponent can't avoid that effect unless they banish her from grave.
Evil Twin is severely underrated. The deck has come a long way and Konami gave them good support from getting better Ki-sikil & Lil-la extenders, a Tenki/Trickstar divaridis & a great Link 4 Sunny. Some people even called the Sunny garbage when it is easy to make in Evil Twin, grabs back Red/Blue to trigger their effects during the enemy turn and has a non-target removal. This deck may not have any hard negates besides its handtraps and droplets but it does have decent disruption with pops and gains resources from the 1 draw. The deck is around Tier 2 and even in OCG Evil Twin is seeing plays now.
Looks like we got another Prankids/Zoodiac (choose according to generation) esqe deck, where the archtype has a whole bunch of one card combos and a crazy-strong end boss + support, and therefore can run as much non-sense and handtraps as they can get away with. Outstanding.
jajajajaja Gracias por tan genial video, ya habia empezado a armar este deck desde hace un año y con el soporte de BODE, me empeñe en encontrar a las link Kisi-kil las cuales estuvieron complicadísimas de encontrar, ya que en mi país y estado de residencia hay poquísimas, pero al final las conseguí y tengo tercia extra para la colección XD.
Creo que si un deck como el Xiangjian tiene 3 estrellas de robo, este debería tener más, ya que si abres bien, puedes conseguir hasta 3 robos entre tu turno y el turno de tu oponente antes de tu Draw Phase en turno 3 yendo primero. Pienso que está muy bien. Es un deck muy consistente y adaptable. Para cuando salga BODE los Prank-kids recibirán un golpe ya que este deck tiene un juego "similar" y a Konami le interesa vender producto... Muy buen vídeo, me gusta mucho el deck, yo lo juego parecido.
Eldlich cards prevent you from exploiting Sunny and the Twins effects for the best. I tried playing them and the only good time to use Sanguine Eldlixir was at the end phase, which makes Conquistador and Huaquero lose all their punch. If you want to mix with something, do so with Dogmatika. The only real cost to the engine is trying to gauge whether using Punishment is worth the extra deck lock on your turn, and 2 spots in extra that could have possibly gone to a Zeus engine, accesscode or underworld goddess.
I have a question. At 11:18 the opponent activated Triple Tact to take a monster. You chained Sunny to summon Ki-Sikil and Lil-la. The Triple Tact then resolves taking Lil-la. My question is, how did you activate both monsters effects on summon if you were no longer controlling both monsters? And how come you were still activating Lil-la's effect especially when she was no longer in your control? Cause it looked like you used her effect to pop herself, preventing your opponent from keeping a monster. I'm just confused on how that ruling worked out. Sorry for a random question four months after the videoXD
You got no replies, but I can give my assumption. The activation was met when it was summoned to your side of the field, so the card owner was able to activate it on a new chain even if control was swapped, as the card's effect wasn't negated merely shifted control. Though idk, maybe someone who knows rulings can make an assumption. Not sure if there's precedence.

Most of player now think that after the support it's far better play them pure, Eldlich cards do nothing for the deck and difficult the activation of some effect.
1) The sonic music fits perfect for them lol if they become an anime (obv it wont happen) this music should be choosen 2) when you lost against salad, why did you TT the field O;o you had a better advantage and bale as a link one wont be a threat (I do understand you were afraid of Rage or Roar but in that position you would just make him use his resourcs which would benefit you, I think you misplayed there but maybe I am missing something.
Its pretty weak without that new link mon. The pure deck relies alot on other extra deck mons to win. Thats why people like running this deck as an engine. That link mon finally gives the deck a good boss mon. The 4400 boss mon was ok but she did really nothing else except be a beatstick. Just recycle over and over now with the new link mon. Free card removal (non destroy effect) and free recycle if someone tries to destroy the link mon. Gonna be so much better now. Will be trying out pure livetwins again once this card officially releases in US. For now livetwin unchain is one of the best variations of the deck
Holy moly..... That link mon makes this deck extremely strong. My live twin unchained is gonna be even more annoying to deal with once it comes out in the US

@@AyuNico I want a real deck alternative. You know that the strategy changes a god damn lot if not for the Droplets or 3T (specially 3T). There were times when his combo would have just died to a hand traps but he happened to have 3T and drew into another combo extender. This just would not happen with his "alternatives".

Droplets and Live Twin is easily one of the best combos in the deck, the deck can't literally not use Droplet, all the OCG lists at least include 2 in main because of how important it is. Triple Tactics Talent can be replaced by Desires since the draw 2 effect is the one that comes up the most unless there's like a Dragoon on field or whatever.
So you are asking for an alternative which is as good as TTT or droplets but not as expensive? There isn't.. that's the reason why they're that expensive. If you want budget cards you have to accept the fact that they're worse than the expensive ones.
1:18 Is torrential tribute a Bug there? TT actually is a when effect, so it can be activated, RIGHT AFTER a monster is summoned. But TT activated in chain link after Link-4's "you can tribute this card:" That shouldnt be possible
Seeh, soy nuevo en el yugi y hasta yo pude notar eso, las invocaciones especiales y los combos super largos están fuera de control. El yugi está diseñado con las patas y los jugadores "aprovechan el bug" para hacer estrategias cada vez más cerdas, pero creo que con el deck adecuado todavía se puede disfrutar del juego, por eso me interesa este deck.

This deck sure may honestly be powerful, but it just look ... boring, like hella damn boring. The deck has one play and one play only, get the two Evil Twins out, summon the link 4, pass. And on top of that, it's not the Evil Twin monsters that do the hardcarry in all of this matches, it's the generic cards that win you duels. This is evidienced by the fact that when the generics couldn't carry you, you lost.
It's sort-of a TOSS format Sky Strikers or Salad situation where because you have so much consistency in executing 1 combo that generates advantage, you dedicate half the deck to that loop and the other half to hand traps and other tech cards that you hope to draw into through your advantage generator or open with to disrupt opposing plays. As a result, you often won't get to see the other interesting stuff that the archetype might have to offer. It's unfortunate that it came to this, but it's a formula that's worked for many archetypes in the past, so it'll probably work out for the Twins.
A lot of decks in the meta are good because they play a lot of non-engine staple cards to support their small and consistent engine. That's what you want right now since it's really effective. You can't win with just defense, your main engine is what actually pushes for game in all of these decks. Tribrigade, Prankids, Ignisters, and Xiangjian are good examples of decks built this way and Evil Twin is another of them. The Twin engine wins the game by generating cards easily and being able to finish the game quickly. Since the engine is small, the best way to make use of that card advantage is to play a lot of staple cards that are good against the meta.
it's funny how both of you have to mention other existing decks to make a point for this deck's existance because this deck doesn't do anything unique, nothing that can't be found elsewhere. What even is the point to play this over, i dunno, Eldlich ?
@@claudio6391 Aside from being able to Nibiru and Torrential without losing your own monsters? It really doesn't, but many meta decks are some variation of "consistency combo + hand traps/generic tech" or "full combo mishmash", with Eldlich ironically being somewhat unique in that it's a control deck at its core (although even then it tends to get put in with combo engines because otherwise it's pretty meh). Unfortunately, that's basically how the meta goes. Archetypes just get refined to a consistent "optimal" setup and all other stuff gets thrown aside. Have you ever seen people actually use El Rey Conquista Eldlich in the meta? There's a lot of examples of this that I don't need to go into. On the casual end, you can mix Twins with various other archetypes such as Unchained due to how easy it is to set up a Twin loop going, but their mileage in competitive will vary. Overall, it ends up being a nice archetype, just filed down to the extreme basics for competitive use.
