Evinrude 40 HP Part 8: Removing Steering Handle 

You got it right. You make the video, and somewhere, someone, sometime is gonna be glad you did. I have an Evinrude 25 on my Gheenoe that I would love to convert to steering from the tiller it has now. This speaks to that perfectly.

Nice video. I'm converting a Johnson 40 from remote to tiller. Did this motor have a steering friction assembly on it or is that only for larger motors? How do you adjust the tension for turning the motor?

Hello! In previous video you removed hydroassist, I own that kind of outboard with jet. This kind of assist is very useful to lift outboard to remove grass from intake, but doesn't really works at mine any ideas how to repair it and make it more effective?

How do you get the twist throttle handle off? Do you have a video on that ?
