Labrys started the match with Red Axe and Sho got counterhit. Counterhits in red axe are fatals, so Labrys can get a round start 2B fatal confirm, spend her burst to do a full corner carry combo and gain the meter needed to do red axe super at the end for a touch of death combo. Purepure dropped it, but theoretically, DSmoove lost the moment he got CH by 2B.
Let's hope that Persona 5 hits big hard enough to where we could see a possible "Persona 5 Arena." Probably too early to say and it's wishful thinking of course, but whose to say at this point right?
well i mean after p5 being atlus' best selling game ever in japan, and it reaching #3 on the ps4 charts in japan, along with talks of it being in the works, it's plausible.
That Labrys Red Axe Touch of Death Combo had me absolutely SHOOK. Omfg PurePure is a god. (please put this game on PS4, I'm like sincerely begging you, Atlas/Sega)
Now I understand why Teddy got nerfed in 2.0. Like holy shit, this character's nasty! At least he is hard to play though... I'm ok with characters being powerful as long as they require skill. Fuck Minazuki.
EloquentandRarity I think that from all the top tier characters he is the most difficult. Perhaps I'm wrong though, because I don't play him. What makes this game so stupid is that the top tier characters are also the easiest and the low tier ones are super hard (Yukiko for example). Character strength should scale with difficulty in my opinion.
Don't misunderstand. Having explosive damage does not mean the character is good. Purepure did so well solely because he is a god. Literally the best labrys player and a really, really good fighting game player overall.
Of course. If it was all damage, Brawl/4 Ganondorf and SFV Zangief would be godlike. An aspiring FGC player's gotta know at least that much in what does and doesn't make a good character. It's just, I'm remembering how back before Ultimax, no (regular) Labrys would ever make it to Top 8 and now we have one. (Which is better than none... like poor Naoto and Junpei. :,| )

Sho or Minazuki? Minazuki is a top tier in the game, but not the best. He's just pretty easy to play. Sho isn't top tier but he's pretty strong and popular.
Jyosua well, both of them. Also, who do you consider the best? Because I swear that tier lists are so rare and so different that I can’t get a feel for the characters other than Yu always being a top tier for some reason.
@@Mojo1356 well, my memory isn't the most reliable as it's been some years since the game was actively played, but I believe Margaret and Ken were at the top, with Narukami, Minazuki, and Shadow Mitsuru below them. After that, I totally don't remember. But everyone in this game can murder you if you give them the opportunity, so don't let that stop you from picking a character you like.
Jyosua from what I’ve seen, Kanji is slow, but once he comes in, there’s no stopping the hurt train. Edit: he is basically like Ultimate’s Gannondorf from what I can tell.
+jaylen montgomery is not being played that much online right now but the game is still pretty popular in Japan and many people still go for tournaments for this game.

Whats with the brown haired girl taking up precious screen space to say "You've got him on the ropes!" when 1.) you don't have him on the ropes he's at half hp same as you. 2.) You didn't need her commentary in the first place. I don't play this game and I probably wouldn't play/buy if you can't turn that off.
