@@brunobuzzatti1134I don't hate any country, it will never be about country with me in any game. But you have to admit this final was bounds more entertaining than the last year. I wasn't too keen on watching the ggst section at first, but the moment I saw 7 possible different characters in top 6 (and a GIO in particular) I knew something special was about happen. Maybe an overreaction of the moment, but bro actually made me believe against the meta again. Hell, he made me remember why I even loved strive in the first place
I loved how the audience was for anyone who was against a happy chaos player. Sorry, that's enough, get out of here. I think the character is cool but I think he's been in every finals since the game came out. By contrast Nitro won with Jack-O. A good character but not one without some real weaknesses. Feels like he had to fight just a little harder than he would have with a higher tier character and I respect that
This final match was so much better than last year's, I was at the edge of my seat! Great job Nito for your win and brought my favorite character Jack-o to victory.
What a legendary grand finals. One of the best matches I’ve ever seen anywhere, it was absolutely wild to watch this live. The domestic fight is now canon!
It's wild how many amazing and sure to be legendary fights we saw across both days of grand finals. This WIFE FIGHT BACK grand finals and Hayao's insane clutch play during Third Strike are going to be remembered for years.
To all Jack-O players? Dude, he's an insult to XRD Jack-O players. I hate fighting her in XRD, but I feel bad for every Jack-O I've fought in XRD. They had to put actual work into the character. Then this game happened.
@@didyoubringthemilk That STRIVE is a baby game and the current standard for E-Sports isn't justified and shouldn't exist. Especially for how watered down fighting games are becoming. Jack-O players have to do a lot more in XRD compared to STRIVE that just hands you pressure despite any slipups.
@@Siberianhusky89Jacko is much better in strive, but you gotta hate on strive because you genuinely don’t like it and are blind to how much better she is to play in strive lmao. I haven’t seen anyone who does this stuff, saying he’s an insult to XRD lmao, please I beg you touch some grass. I won’t be responding so don’t bother typing up a long response.
@@MakioGoHardio I just genuinely hate the game. I hate fighting Jack-O in XRD, but I appreciate the effort it takes to play her in that game. STRIVE waters it down immensely to make the character "distinct". Fine. I'll make it short. But he is. STRIVE is just an insult in general. I watch these babies go like "Make way for the new gen" when my reason for getting into Guilty Gear was "I like what this game has to offer!".
Which is crazy because he ran through some demons in Guilty Gear and made it happen, and he's quite recent in the Guilty scene. Different games at the end of the day, but I think this win would have been better compared to 2022 if he had beat Wawa.
@@didyoubringthemilk He's known for being a general jackass (and has been even since Smash Melee's early days). Rage quitting, character blaming, constant shit talk, not taking losses, the whole 9 yards pretty much. Also leffen plays chaos so there's also that (he's always been a tier whore though lmao).
@@didyoubringthemilk Leffen started his tourney life as a Fox main (Melee) and after he left Smash behind, he picked up basically the same character in Happy Chaos. Happy Chaos at that time had some INSANE frame data and he's a fairly boring character to watch when he's projectile spamming and refusing to actually get into the other character's space. So because of these two things combined, people don't like Leffen as a player.
After getting 2nd place in Dragon Ball in 2022 and then 3rd place last year for Dragon Ball he finally get's the 1st place, but for Guilty Gear instead. Awesome finals.
He’s come so far from playing some dragon ball matches in bums crib man…… we had to work through the lef dark age but it was all worth❤️ what a win and what a set
Those setups were absolutely disgusting. End of the second round before the reset wtf. I feel like Jack-O is like a SonicFox Erron Black caltrops era type of character. High level play looks mind blowing.
@@didyoubringthemilk Well, by new player, it would still mean you played for a bit though. Unless you are saying you just installed the game, came to RU-vid to see EVO and understood everything…
