@@farshidshanebarton6317 Oh I know. I'm a huge fan. What I mean is that a channel (I think Bas's) had a Groove-locked tourney awhile back, and basically none of the S-Groove players knew their ass from their elbows in it. It was a little painful to watch. By contrast, this is a breath of fresh air.
*Man, if they made a next gen Capcom vs SNK all hardcore fighting games fans would go crazy....it's Been talks going around that SNK & Capcom might actually make it happen soon*
This is EVO Japan. It's basically a mini EVO before the larger EVO in the US that's usually towards the end of summer. They have EVO Japan so Japanese players who don't want to travel can still play in a tournament plus it gives other players around the world an opportunity to travel to Japan and face off against players they've never fought before. Japan is a more reserved country so for events like this they typically don't have anything fancy like stage or lights and the crowd is usually pretty reserved
