Bought a Mit Lancer 2016 HLE... CVT with the paddle shifts which simulate pretty well the 6 gears and runs hard even though its a FWD running on a remap E85 config. Paid around 20k usd here in brazil... Use it to drive for uber .. it has the body kit which makes it look like the evo(but rear bumper and hood) ... Rear wing I went with a simple trunk wing... I run bags... 20s and an awesome exhaust valve system as well as a CAI system. Running 188whp and killing Jettas... Bmws... Mercs... Lol Even kept the pace with a stock(+ muffler delete) 350z ... Its fun to drive... I pay around 750usd a month for the loan... Drive it for Uber to make a living and save just so one Day I'll come to the u.s and buy a real evo for cheap. God bless y'all never give up. I will never give up.

I feel like the corvette and mustang didn’t even have 2 step as it wasn’t consistently hitting rev limiter. It just sounded like regular revs going full throttle and lifting a bit and going full throttle again, you know the whole cycle of that.
2 step? Why? both the c7 and the mustang gt have pretty good launch control really defeats the purpose of a secondary rev limiter other than to pose, and of course a turbo'd car is gonna make more noise and flames there's basically a secondary ignition point for the unburnt fuel!
NoobAtFPS1 ok??the exhaust it self is not making the pops and bangs, it's the combustion of unburnt fuel from retarding the engine combustion stroke it's what keeps the rpm from redlining at W.o.t....so a turbo car with 2 step would always be louder unless you go full poser and add a ignition source on the manifold like another spark plug..
Anthony Visuals so it's just launch control? Because it sounds like the engine is staying around 4k rpm which is much lower than a average LT motor redline.
