Find it funny how everyone says the first one realistic when they clearly haven’t seen how much cameras and sensors have improved over years making mw2 2022 the most realistic one
Og Mw3's AC-130 is my personal favorite, simply because of the setting; you're in the middle of a warzone in contested airspace and the Ac130 has to balance between staying alive and defending the allies. Cod4 is a close second
There might be no ac-130 in cod mobile but the closest thing to one is the vtol, and once that thing's in the air, it is a guaranteed win for your team, unless it's an enemy of course Edit: 1:17 there is something so satisfying about watching a heli spin out of control and crash, idk why but it is
@@joosshh3143 warbird is from advanced warfare, wraith is from black ops 3. Warbird is a gunship, wraith is a drone that’s vicious with its machine gun and rockets
@@nicholasnguyen5181the warbird is more comparable to an attack helicopter/stealth chopper/support helo rather than an AC-130 however the Paladin in AW is that games AC-130 because it has these 2 upgrades- a 105 cannon & some laser guided 40mm missiles as for the wraith in bo3 its not an AC-130, it’s a futuristic stealth chopper from bo2 which itself is just another version of an attack helicopter or support helo because it doesn’t fire rockets it just shoots a machine gun
CoD 4 MW 2007 : OG AC-130, but only in single player. Technically there was no AC-130 flying above, you're just a flying camera essentially. (Same goes with the UAV killstreak in OG MW, it wasn't visible on the map) Modern Warfare 2 2009 : The original AC-130 in killstreak form, now with an actual visible plane that you can shoot down. Has 2 flares so a single player needs a respawn to kill it. Modern Warfare 3 : Cleaner HUD, more punchy sound for 40mm, but otherwise identical. CoD Ghosts : Well it wasn't a proper killstreak and we can see that because the sounds aren't as punchy and it just didn't feel right for some reason. Black Ops 2 : Had an AC-130 during campaign, but we don't get to shoot from it. Has the Lodestar instead but it's more like the Reaper. Advanced Warfare : Has the Paladin which is an AC-130 with more customizability, but it is generally a bit weaker (streaks in general are a bit weaker in AW imo) Black Ops 4 : The beginning of the 'new' form of the AC-130 killstreak, It is way tougher with 2 flares as usual, but it can sustain multiple hits after the flares are depleted. Also the weaponry are way stronger, fires and reloads faster, and ofc the double 105mm. Also has some new nifty autoloader reload sounds. Modern Warfare 2019 : Similar durability to Black Ops 4 counterpart, but the weapon rate of fire, reload rate, and magazine capacities are more similar to MW 2 2009 and MW3. Sounds are muffled though but still punchy enough. Also nice intro animation. Cold War : Identical to Black Ops 4, but there is the constant threat of an air patrol. Modern Warfare 2 2023 : Similar to MW2019, but the 105mm is replaced with the LTM which is a bit more versatile as it can be guided and curved. The 40mm is the same, but the 25mm fires notably faster. Now has a shot down animation :( 5:42 probably cruise missiled?
LTM stands for Laser Targeted missile. Hence the name, the missile will be guided by aiming your crosshairs at your desired target because it uses a laser to designate it. MWII uses that instead of the typical 105mm Bofors, however, the real life AC-130J do indeed carried laser guided missile on some missions.
Yeah, it is, along with the last one. In real life there are no markers showing enemies, the screen shakes loads when the gun fires and the quality of the sight picture is military grade
Personally, the gunship in MW2019 felt the weakest imo. I would of always picked white phosphorus or an apache over it because how badly ppl camped in doors
I'm gonna say it. Although it wasnt the best game in the franchise, Cold War did the gunship best. It's not as broken as the BO4 gunship, but it's also not as slow as the MW19 version. It also is the best sounding one (from the ground anyways). The only thing I wish the later cod games did was make the ship's movement a little more realistic, like MW2 and 3. The later versions just fly so slow and reduce the maximum effectiveness of the AC-130 streak
For sure I had the most fun with the Cold War ac130 bc the sounds and the ammo bar on the right was just big enough where I could see it, definitely my favorite but mw2 2009 announcers are the best
I dont know but the MWII Gunship aircraft model dont look like C-130 and it looks like made to be an amphibious aircraft. Cool thought, also how many money Shadow Company spent on buying AC-130
Because in the story you're listening to Soap's radio microphone picking up the explosions, in Multi-player the gunship is just... there, I guess, not talking to the guys on the ground.
