@@egganimationmusic3644 You know I don't like Animaniacs in their 2020 animation style! It's like the flash animation tried to make it a traditional hand-drawn animation like they used to do it, but now they just made the movements so disgusting and off-brand!!! And Dave Lee said that they're too crazy, too inappropriate, and too zany and wacky!!!
Oh wow, wasn't expecting a surprise Cartoon Evolution on the Animaniacs given that this month it was going to be dedicated The Peanuts Cast. Now, we get 2 Cartoon Evolutions in the month of November. Can't wait for the Animaniacs reboot this Friday.
It's worth noting that Tom Ruegger also developed and produced season 1 of A Pup Named Scooby-doo right before being brought on for Tiny Toons. It may explain why he was brought on for Tiny Toons.
Hello I’m yakko Warner and all joking aside reboots are simp fanatic of the fun dimensional lab of verginality of Hollywood of creativity crisis fuel by a terrifying executive clinging to the past like rats to a bree of sinking ship
A Pup Named Scooby Doo was the only kid version of cartoon show I enjoyed from the 80s and 90s. Tiny Toons were fine but it had nothing on Animaniacs. Also Freakazoid is criminally underrated
Two Tone Town now a hit series!(Animaniacs- face it...its their prototypes!) Buster staring at Babs; " Don't Worry our jobs are safe she says...I will give up EVERYTHING until you until your Stars again! Great job Babs now we're out of a job!"

This helps to put in context for someone who sees this so alien, like me. Not because of age, but this didn't hit that hard outside of the Americas, so I was always curious.
One of my favorite Animaniacs episodes is when they pester Death (the Seventh Seal). "Because it's not in de buudget!" Another favorite episode: Either Yakko or Wakko drive Dr. Scratchandsniff crazy by playing two notes on a harmonica. (I remember doing the same as a four year old until my Dad asked me to "Please - stop it!")
I just realized that Animaniacs, at the time, was Warner’s first completely original animated project since the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of shorts. Like not based off Looney Tunes or D.C. A completely different intellectual property. 😲
Had to scroll quite a bit to finally find someone who picked up on and commented on this mistake. I thought I just wasn't hearing him right through his accent. Thank you.
My favorite Animaniacs episode? That's easy! Chairman of the Bored, featuring Ben Stein as a party guest who doesn't stop talking, and won't let go. Stein was Hilarious, particularly his brief treats on the Tambourine. Stein actually beats the Warners at their own game.
I loved the show. I had not heard of the 2020 rerelase, but i dont have any faith that it will live up to its past based on the influence of current times.
I think/hope we're gonna get: 1 a updated nations of the world song 2 a Updated presidents song 3 a Song of the history of Religious terrorism across the entire human history. {Yes there is a lot} {of course with a Mob BOOOING them during the entire song.} 4 A Anti woke/Anti PC song {2019/2020 PC} Not the {1990-1998 HELLOOOO Nurse "PC"} 5 World war Baloney {baloney the dinosaur}. a special about Baloney Finally being stopped. 6 HELLLOOOOOOOOO NURSE Junior. {2020 woke/PC version of Hellooo Nurse}
Let’s face it. Who else would they get to voice them? Jess, Tress, and Rob’s performances are so ingrained in the minds of audiences around the world that no one can imagine anyone else in those roles.
One of my favorite jokes in the original Animaniacs run is one from the episode with the pilgrims and the Warners being "natives" with a turkey as a pet. The lead hunter of the pilgrims demands the Warners give him the bird. Yakko then retorts, "We'd love to but the Fox censors won't let us."
They later reused that joke for "This Pun's for Hire," except it was given to Dot. It was a parody of old detective movies, and when Minerva Mink demanded that the Warners hand over a statue that looked like a bird, by asking them to "give me the bird," Dot replied, "We can't. This is a family show." 😂
I find it kind of hilarious that WB thought the animaniac balloon was something Disney itself did. it's like gangs putting their tags on another's turf lmao

How funny would it be if WB was like "oh yeah???" And the next day a Bugs Bunny balloon showes up on the Disney lot with a sign that said "of course you realize, this means war."
Well Fun Fact: Yakko (My First Brother), might be a dog, Wakko (My second brother), May be a puppy as he always has his toung out. And Dot (My Sister) might be a cat or dog like me. And Me, (Warner Cousin) I'm obviously a cat as you can see from my Profile Picture. So yea. (This comment took me 5 minutes to make)
@@goneforever7702 You know, my favorite Animaniacs song is the president's song! Just this morning I memorized the lyrics by looking into my American history book and the last time I saw the video with the lyrics was earlier this year!
They were retired after Walt Disney threatened to sue Warner Brothers if they didn't retire Foxy and Roxy because they looked too similar to Mickey and Minnie. Walt had already sued another Mickey Mouse ripoff, so Warner just scrapped the characters.
My favorite segments were the “educational” ones like the state capitals or Yakko singing all the countries because they were educational while also making fun of educational programming. I like the idea for shorter evolution videos. They are the same quality as the longer ones but allow for “newer” shows to be showcased. I felt like I was watching one of the OG videos. 👍
As an adult, mother of one at the time, I definitely enjoyed the Animaniacs. The show reminded me of the classic Looney Tunes/ Merrie Melodies cartoons. I could really relate to the type of humor used by the characters. And, being a die hard Beatles fan, I loved Yakko's Ringo-esque Liverpudlian accent.
I think that the OP is saying that when _Phineas abd Ferb_ decided to do music with every episode, _Animaniacs_ responded with something like, "Ah, finally a worthy opponent." I do think Oodles meant to imply that _P&F_ were first, although I can see how it could be read that way.
I'm surprised it wasn't about mice. Mickey is Disney, after all! And Donald was always getting the short end on the stick. Mickey: "I have a company!" Donald: "I have a huge culture of duck-based cartoons!" Mickey: "Whaaaa-? How did *you* get that?!" Donald: (Waves arms mystically) "Nobody knows!"
I always loved when the Warners were involved in a bit that maybe could be interpreted as going a little too far, Yakko then turning to camera and saying ‘goodnight everybody’. So very Groucho.
And to think, we almost had an Animaniacs cameo in Looney Tunes Back in Action had it not been for the humorless executives that ruined the hell out of that movie. Anyway, the first time I heard of Animaniacs, it was through a voice over at the end credits of some Fox Kids cartoon. You know, because back before they crushed the credits to the side or just had them superimposed over the end of the show they had voice overs announcing the next show. So anyway, without any context of who or what they were, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot introduced the cartoon viewing kids to the world without visuals, so it was incredibly cryptic. I almost thought with a name like Animaniacs it was somehow Eek the Cat related. Don't know why, still don't.
Yep! I Was Originally Going to the water tower Then Unfortunately, Big c took me back to Chuck E Cheese.. Where I came from. Then missed being in the show. And the new member of the Warner trio.
Me and my family are more of a Pinky and the Brain folk than Animaniacs, but upon revisiting the old series, my favorite episodes are the ones with musical numbers, I'm a sucker for those.
@@Temzy Why SEGA? And regarding my opinion on SEGA, I don't have any hope in them to be honest. It's always hit-or-miss with them when it comes to Sonic. Fans know how to treat the franchise, unlike the IP holders. Sonic Mania, which was made by fans, is a prime example.
I dont understand why ip holders drastically change the design then are shocked when it fails. If they would have given the sibs the teen titans go treatment I wouldn't even watch one episode.
A look at Elmyra's history could be interesting over all I hope this is a build up for Space Jam. very up set that Space Jam and Back in Action had NO Animaniacs and No Tiny Toons

Wakko feels a LOT more like Wacky than he does like Smacky, so given that, I'm pretty sure Smacky was just scrapped altogether, and Wacky becoming Wakko just came with a personality change. That being said, I hope Smakko is at least mentioned in the reboot at some point. That would be cool.
Brain: Pinky, are you pondering what I’m pondering? Pinky: I think so, Brain.. but if our show gets a reboot they’ll need new lyrics! Right? Brain: **facepalm** What did I tell you about breaking the 4th wall!? Pinky: *NARF!*
I actually discovered PINKY AND THE BRAIN first when it was a primetime series on WB. Then someone told me it had been derived from ANIMANIACS which I then proceeded to look up. Oh, and I'm surprised you didn't mention the debt these guys owe to ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE: the different segments, the bi-level humor, the one segment that got spun off into its own show. No disrespect meant, but Ward and Scott did do it first. (Though these people did it better, got to admit.)
Well Dave, this was certainly a pleasant surprise! I'm a HUGE fan of the Animaniacs, and I am incredibly hyped for the reboot! Can't wait for the "Cartoon Evolution" on the Peanuts Gang later this month!
Fun Fact: Platypus Duck would go on to show up in the 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo as Scooby's canonical favorite cartoon/comic character. Tom of course wrote that episode.
I think my favorite episode of the warner bros. is when they go to hell and are messing with Satan. That and when wacko dies and the Grim is trying to take him. I think this was not in "Animaniac" but in the "Pinky & The Brain" spinoof, but the chapter when we see all in Pinky's POV is brilliant
