I got say, I've never seen a character go from only walking forward as their attack to mastering the spear and parasol and helping save the world multiple times. Bandana Dee is one of the most improved characters in all of gaming, and that alone is a good reason to put him in Smash Bros.

The.. What ? Alright. I'm a Kirby fan too. But he is cleary not the ''MoSt ImPrOvEd'' character in video game history. About super smash Bros, a real villain rep would be really cool. Dark matter. Hyness The jambastion mages, Even Magolor, or whispy Woods as a joke.

Wow, bandana dee went from rogue to working for king dedede, back to rogue, then working for meta knight, then a good guy throughout the series. He must’ve went through a lot of troubles in his life.

I love how this character is literally identified by just the hat he wears. Same with Sailor Dee. Take the hat off and he's about the same as every other Waddle Dee. Something about that setup just makes me smile.

So This is the legend of Dee... A guy who started a a poor victim as a joke-boss ( 0:18 ) but is now capable of kicking "king dedede on steroids" ass ( 9:16 ) and even share a victory dialog and cutscene with Kriby ( 5:40 - 6:05 ). That's some big character devloppment! xD

He really isn’t a generic character, besides even if he was being a Generic character in smash has actually been done multiple times such as adding Yoshi, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Inklings and such. I’ve never seen him as just a Waddle Dee as he’s actually the strongest of them all with a great Spear and Parasol toolkit. Besides I don’t even think that Character background is all it takes to be in smash because R.O.B. Is just true neutral before he joined smash and he just still feels like a neutral. Besides Bandanna Waddle Dee even has costumes too pull from the games shown in the video. He’s on a higher priority than Geno to me.

I think what makes Bandee so good is that he's extremely loyal. Be it for the King, Meta Knight or Kirby himself, he's willing to follow them and do his best to help them out. He's literally appeared in just about every game since Super Star Ultra, and I look forward to whenever his next appearance may be. He's just such a good boye~

IntrovertedInkling You can give the Waddle Dee character, playable outside of story mode, different headgear and parasols, but you can’t customize Bandana Dee in the story mode, let alone completely change his weapon.

I still remember how hyped I was when This bandana wearing reddish orange little Dee waddled his way into Kirby's return to Dreamland: The first game where he was a playable character for the first time. I mained the heck out of him. So yeah! Waddle Dee for Smash 4 port! Can sailor be in his final Smash? Or one of his specials... He and Bandana looked so adorable in Kirby mass attack. 😁

Bandana Dee AND Marx for 5mash. Kirby needs more representation in Smash bros,since Sakurai is the mastermind behind both series, and those two I feel have the best potential for a moveset. Don't believe me? SSF2 for Bandana Dee, first of all, and for Marx, Star Allies also shows potential for him. Of course, Marx isn't actually too likely,but I still want him as a playable character anyway.

He’s legit one of my favourite kirby characters. He went from attacking everything and not caring to working for King Dedede to working for Meta Knight to allaying with Kirby and saving the world. The character development is through the roof and his moves with spears and technique is why he should be in smash. If they make a new smash bros game he needs to be added

ÐαηΐεŁ328 DT you really went. To every comment just to bash on bandana waddle dee being in smash? Wow, you suck. Marx is trash compared to BWD. BWD is actually important to the kirby franchise. Plus marx would fit perfectly as an assist trophy. The only reason marx is popular now is because of star allies. He still doesnt deserve to be playable as much as BWD.

My Kirby headcannon concerning Bandana waddle dee is 1. If he could talk and we know he can, he'd be voiced by Samuel Vincent the voice of Double dee from Ed Edd and Eddy 2. He's both dedede's sidekick like Escargoon but he's ALSO kirby's best friend and pal for life, an inseparable duo like spongebob and Patrick If you agree that's fine, if not that's fine after all it's just a headcannon.
