As a mid competitive EU player i liked the divisional cups the most. This was the first time that there was something I could realistically achieve like reaching challenger division and then try to place good (Lets be honest i will never place under the top 100 lol). Therefore grinding was the most fun at that time and i also felt like watching Elite Division Lobbys was fun as they were stacked and it felt like the pros actually had good practice aswell. I hope they will bring back this system in the future. Great Video as always!
the main problem with divisional cups was that by the end of the season the elite lobbies were way weaker than at the start because of all the people getting promoted but none going back down to the level below
@charliemorris4641 That was because no one could get off Elite, which I didn't understand. It would have made sense to say that the top 10 last place duos are relegated from Elite (if you played the Cup). Like every normal league... Same with Unreal Ranked, why you can't get relegated from unreal?
Just got so much nostalgia from this. I remember streaming the daily cups on multiple regions. Wake up early, get some troll games in on 150 ping Middle East daily cup, before actually try harding EU (and inevitably being trash), and then deciding if I was going to play NAE, which I always did, and usually regretted. Those were the days Your audio pacing has gotten noticeably better btw dude, alongside the already dope visual quality
Happy Birthday Reiss. You know I have never met someone puts in so much effort into their videos and still grinds Fortnite just for us. Hope you have a good day.
I wish I played competitive during Covid and before, it seemed so much fun. I played so casually just with friends at that time tho :( And I wish they had more than one solo cup a week now as I haven't been able to play Solo Victory cups for 2 seasons because I'm at work and I don't really have anyone to duo with as it is
I remember me and my bro would get day off to play wc quals and winter royal on 2 regions:D Those days felt like christmas when we were kids. Dont know but fortnite went downhill after they removed chapter 2 map. How could they fucked up perfect game:/
I miss the platform cups because it have console and mobile have their top players to shine but it would probs cost epic too much so they probs wont do them again
Because that's paying 3,000ish people $100 a game over 3-5 games which in that one day could be millions of dollars. Name another game paying players like that.
idk where you got that math from but 1 on east 200 people earned last solo cash cup. 2 its 3 games. 3 i have 5 2nd places and a third and havent made a dime off of solo tournaments and its all i have to save my tracker bc my central pr is bad compared to east.@@thisshitissoass
I think i remember mongral saying they had to give that amount of money because the money Fortnite gave Fortnite competitive for the year was 100 million dollars and they still didn't reach the 100 million dollar cap so they just threw it in winter royale..
@@okkomelto2647Thats literally the lamest reason to not like it. Been like that since marvel which was lonng ago. If you dont like the new pace, sure. Maybe youre just not as good with the new loot pools. Its fine. The game might just not be for you but just know "the collabs" is a wack reason
@@rickkroll its not the lamest reason to like it. Fortnite was cool before, now its just a giant billboard. The skins are okay but i dont like it when they add collab shit ingame.
Chapter 2 was the epitome of fn cash cups, I mean they were throwing out so much money u literally could've went pro... but it all ended once they lost the lawsuit to apple 😂
Big ask but i am trying to switch to keyboard and mouse and after being on controller since 2019 i have not a clue on what to do and where to start so i was wondering if you could coach me i. Live in the uk so the time zone wont be annoying
