Nah. If not Batman, then Black Mask is more of a Red Hood villain tbh. They cross paths more often than Nightwing.

The problem is that the one from *Gotham* , Richard Sionis, is not Black Mask. Richard is his father, simply called "The Mask"... His name was even retconned in the comics, in which he was originally called Charles Sionis; it happened in the 2016 Catwoman storyline retracing the origins of the False Faces society. This is interesting, as it makes Richard Sionis one of the 2 (only 2...) *Gotham* characters to become official charas in the DC canon. The other being Bridgit Pike, aka *Lady Firefly* , who also appeared in the 'Tec comics.

@@Flyingferrets5 Yes, I've heard of that. To me, the mouth shouldn't be moving though. Or at the very least, not as much as it does here. You'd think the animators would like the break of not animating his mouth.
