Story modes ranked in my opinion: 1: octo expansion 2: return of the mammalians 3: side order 4: splatoon and splatoon 2 Yeah i cant decide between the last two or first two seeing as how they were the first two story modes released heh heh.
in my opinion: 1. Octo Expansion. One Word: Masterpiece. Great story, gameplay was amazing, and although the bosses were just harder versions of the Splatoon 2 bosses, it was still the BEST thing to come out of the series. 2. Side Order, it was pretty good. Great in story and Gameplay, but felt a bit tedious at times, as well as feeling a tad but underwhelming. Nice start to the "Nintendo Rougelike." Also, it's the first time Octostomp doesn't appear in story mode, they used OctoWhirl instead, FINALLY. 3. Splatoon 3. Funny bear tries to kill you. But anyway, it did make itself different to the first two games, and it's gameplay is kinda based off of Octo Expansion's. It's story felt a bit over the place, Sometimes giving you lots of information about one thing and almost none about another topic. and the bosses (especially the deep cut ones) weren't excecuted the best. speaking of them, deep cut being in the story didn't make that much sense, we learn almost nothing about their motivations, how they found alterna, other than "oh, we're bandits and we give the treasure we find to the needy" and that. we litrealy learn almost nothing about their clans or even deep cut themselves in this story. they could of atleast been fleshed out a little more. And DJ Octavio's redemption? We learned NOTHING about it. seriously, Nintendo. why. Not as good as the DLCs, but it's there. 4. Splatoon 1, Good start to the series' Hero mode, not bad, just not as good as the others. Still the best version of DJ Octavio we've got. It was a great story, great villian with motivations that fit him. 5. Splatoon 2. Felt like a bad copy of Splatoon 1's story mode... which i why i think it's last. There was so much missed potential here...
You know am starting to realize that these villains besides Octavio are just trying to bring back the life they lost long ago. Like Tartar wanted to bring back the humans, Grizz wanted to bring back the mammals, and Order just wanted to bring back order. Things that existed in the past. Something tells me these Villains are having a hard time accepting their new life. Like all their plans in bringing back the life that was once existed won’t even make a difference because whatever destructive plan they have, it wouldn’t make a difference since they are still living in a world where there is color and music with sea creatures being the new humans. They just can’t seem to accept that this is life now. I-In my Opinion 😥
@@user-cq5kn7tc7g I noticed that although I must say this, I think this new DLC did the final color blaster a lot more better than Splatoon 3's original mode and Octo expansion tbh
