For those of who didn't know, the Kaptain K. Rool fights in DKC2 are the 102% completion secret bosses. The original ones against him have 9 hits and easier to avoid attacks.
Idk the first bout against him feels harder because you have to endure 6 attack cycles while only having one free hit I don't count the first three bc they simply feel like an introduction to chucking the cannonball to k rool This is not to say the second fight against k rool is easy
The original Donkey Kong was actually the one we know today as Cranky Kong ...also Donkey Kong of today was actually Cranky's grandson. Now DKJr on the other hand, while many may believe to be Donkey Kong as a baby when in fact it is actually Donkey Kong's real father aka Cranky's son.

Am I the only one who wants a Jungle Beat sequel? Man I just loved playing it on my GC everyday after school when I was younger, I really liked the combat mechanic and the DK bongos.
I agree, let the traditional stomp to win stay with Mario, a DK game with Country level desing and Jungle Beat combat system would be the perfect DK game for me.
Final Boss Characters that appear in order of appearance: Donkey Kong Mario King K Rool Capt. K Rool Baron K. Roolenstein and KAOS Wizpig King "Krusha" K. Rool Ghastly King Red Ghastly King (in Jungle Fever, though never shown) Tiki Kong BLUE GHASTLY KING (IN DK BANANA KINGDOM ARCADE ALSO NEVER SHOWN) Lord Frederik BOWSER CLONE (MINI MARIO FRIENDS AND AMIIBO CHALLENGES???) Everytime I see an even number of boss characters, I kept thinking that that drives me up the wall!!!! It gets me the goosebumps everytime! Everytime I count something to an odd number, I think it's perfection!
So much for Wizpig in the DS version of DKR. Due to the limitations because in the N64, you have things coming at you all over the place, especially in the throne room. Then again, using T.T. is cheap because he's the fastest character in the game
I think it can't be denied that DK64's was a very repetitive, severely dragged-out fight. You have to fight K. Rool as *EVERY* Kong by hitting him 4 times each with their gimmicks. Like, Jesus Christ, man.
I see that the devs always liked to use hands for their final bosses... DK 94, Mario vs DK (Which is the same exact fight), and the Tiki Tong fight (Is it Tiki Tong? I cannot remember, I haven't played the game in a long time)
Before Donkey kong country returns starts... Diddy: Maby you should put your Bananas IN the hoard cave, this time. DK: Ah, they'll be fine. And before you know it, Tiki Tong (I see what you did there Nintendo. REAL clever.) and his gang steal the magic Bananas.
DK games haven't been the same without K. Rool. He and his kremlins are so iconic, especially that big ol Klubba and Krushas and K. Rool's strange alter egos. Unlike Bowser, K. Rool is respected out of fear by his minions because he's a ruthless krazy king.
King Dedede: I have a sinister plan! I shall steal all the food in dream land!!! >:D King K. Rool: I have a sinister plan! I shall steal all of the bananas on kong island!!! >:D King Dedede: *BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH*
My rant on the final fight against Kaptain K. Rool in the Lost World of DKC2: The final battle against Kaptain K. Rool is embarrassingly easy. All you have to do is dodge the puffs of smoke and spiky cannonballs only to wait for a barrel with one cannonball to spawn from his gun and then throw it back at him to knock him out.
My head canon: After the events of Donkey Kong 64, King K. Rool’s tail got injured so badly, it had to be amputated (which is why nowadays he either has no tail or a very short, stumpy one).
So, the GBA version of DK Country, on a system that is handheld yet can do more than the Super Nintendo... has somehow worse graphics than the Super Nintendo Version... Huh. Weird.
eastwing329 it was actually slightly weaker. The music was a little worse and it was kinda hard to look at while the original had amazing music and was soothing on the eyes.
Also it's not the same console so even if it's the same power it can't run games that were designed to run on the SNES quite as well. It would need to be considerably more powerful to run them as well as the console that they were designed for.
Jason Tachin Yeah, but I forgot how you unlock him. The game had two unlockable characters. TT and Drumstick. I remember how to unlock Drumstick...you had to run over one of the frogs. lol
I ADORE that final boss theme! It feels like as if it’s the end of an era for Mario to fight the original donkey Kong! Too many people don’t talk about this song enough!
StarVolt Nexus it’s like new company Mario and not including bowser or any of his iconic enemies I hope they bring back the animal buddies enguarde espresso winks/rattles ellie squidder
